Rival New slot Rip off

Rival's paytables suck donkey dick worse than any other provider, I call bullshit to not changing the game play, I dont care what Cocoa Rob says, the bonus spins are nowhere near what they were and the bonus game within the bonus on Cleo and Reel Party are virtually non existant, updates and more updates???? Yea they have good C/S, the graffics and software is decent but when are they going to come out of the ether and fix the paytables. I showed a post a while back on 100 free spins, I won $50 on those spins at .75c/spin, I hit 100 spins on Raindance at .40c/spin, $594.00, do the math. No offense but these slots are for the little old ladies who sit at the .1c machine betting 1 coin, after saying that I am guilty of playing Rival, what a hypocrite dick I am.

Damn! 1-2 seconds per spin? You were only giving the RNG 100-200 clicks between pulls! It might have been having a bad five minutes... $500 in five minutes? You averaged 1.25 seconds per spin. If the RNG clocks out at 100 per second, you were in a clump of 32,400 numbers - that in itself makes it a very small sample.

I feel for ya though, and agree that is a crappy return on your wagers.

Thanks lojo, I tend to spin fast, I get bored easily with slow slots (MG's Mega Moolah dang near drove me nuts). It is a small sample but for a rival slot to not hit one feature is unusual since they usually have a bunch of small hits between features and this being a new slot just made me not want to play it ever again lol :).

Here is a curious situation that maybe cocoa rob can answer. Just to make sure I hate this slot I decided to load it up in fun mode and I hit both features within the same spin but only got to play the Plunko bonus round and when it ended the only option was to keep spinning, the Donkey bonus round for the three curtains never triggered. Is that supposed to happen?

It must be the way it is, another poor feature, it happened to me as well, M/G you get both, Playtech both.

I can't think of an MG slot where you COULD get two second screen features on the same reels? Sure you can hit stuff in free spins, but what else? That's dreadful reel design up there, which, in combination with the questionable payouts - makes me fear the worst for this software...

Tomb Raider, Bush telegraph to name a few, you can get the other game on the free spin feature, sure it may be a free spin feature, however you do get a feature within the feature, kinda like the Ukrainian stacking dolls.:what:

Yeah, that's not really the same though is it. Hitting second screen features within free spins is pretty standard stuff - I can think of examples with Crypto/MG etc... Moreover, the wins are not multiplied by the free spin amount (which is a shame on HITMAN particularly!) Hitting TWO second screen features on the same spin is, IMHO however - awful reel design - and distinctly questionable.

Regardless it doesnt change the fact that the payouts suck ass and they are constantly playing with the game play (Rob will disagree and I will agree to disagree), I find it a reel shame (pun) because I think if they could get it right they would be a viable alternative to the big ones, but they need to correct the paytables and find consistency in game play, in the last year they have made at least 5 changes to the game play, bonus features, paytables, when have you seem M/G, Playtech or even RTG do that.

To make matters worse I couldn't as hard as I tried to duplicate my poor session over a few thousand spins in fun mode. Heck I was hitting the features left and right and never once dipped under my initial starting point once I hit the first set of features. My horrible session may have been a million to one bad session but the great fun session didn't prompt me to test that theory out with any more of my cash lol.

Not good, hopefully only an anomoly.

Reel of Fortune

Hello everyone,

The issue with the two bonus rounds hitting at the same time is known and currently that is taken into account in the payback rate (96.21%). Personally, I can see how this would be annoying and I've sent this to the slots team to look at. I'm sure we'll get it addressed quickly. That being said - Reel of Fortune has been tremendously popular since it came out. The heavy bonus round centric gameplay, with the potential to hit unlimited wins in the Donkey Round, have been hugely successful. It is not without its pitfalls, of course - like any other game, a run of bad luck and not hitting the features will of course occasionally happen. But as Shatter saw in the fun mode (which uses the exact same reels and paytables), it can result in great sessions as well.

As for how other providers might change the game play of their slots - well, I'm not going to walk across the screen and drop any eggs here, but we know that other providers have had to make changes after the games come out.

I've seen many other threads where players complain about issues with the slots, and curiously I've never seen any update from the provider or the player noticing how the issues were improved.

As for "standardizing" the game play across all the slots - there are different types of players, and that calls for different types of slots. Some will play differently from the others, but as noted we do try and give the player the relevant information to decide what to play.

That being said - we definitely appreciate all the feedback on here, and I do send the comments to the slots developers who do read and take them into account.

Thanks everyone,

Rob

So if it is taken into account that means that the Plunko round will play each time that happens and the donkey round will never play when that double bonus round situation occurs?

I like playing at rival but when a dry spell comes on one of the slots there it just ruins my session in seconds with no possible bounce back in sight so I am still staying clear of this slot in general. I do appreciate your comments and addressing the issues. :).

Hate to say this but that goose was truly annoying. On the other hand, the ANTICIPATION of hitting the bonus round and the ability to hit the "big" one was there. I had hit the 50 free spins many times on that slot and racked up some good paybacks whereas, once again (I feel I am repeating myself which I know I am,sorry!) the slots at Rival has NO anticipation to them.

They are very bad in the paytables and payouts and totally boring once you get your head wrapped around the thought that, yes, "That's all there is to it". No bells, whistles or even a good payday to have. Once acknowledged to this downside of Rival slots..it's all over. People will get this eventually if they play long enough just as I have.

Now mind you...I would never turn down any free incentives to play there, knowing they will get it all anyway...because I like to have fun at times too and these slots are fun to dabble in without the investment of ones own funds.

that I am guilty of playing Rival
Guilty too, early in the days of wanderings......

PS: I would also like to state that I have closed all my real accounts a long while back and only play in fun mode, since I do enjoy trying out any new games offered including Rivals.
