i have an account in a casino of the palace group
the active account is in piggs

i sent my documents for verification for them, but the same was rejected because the bank statement it has been downloaded from online banking, but it has the same validation that a post card,

my all invoices and bank statements ( services of internet, water, eletricity, bank statements) are digital, since its more secure, and easy to save and consulting....

other acredited casinos have accepted all the documentation, why palace group dont accept?

anybody knows?

If it's a proper representation of what they would post, it should be OK. In 2011, casinos should be well aware that online billing is more common than postal billing, and especially among those who are willing to trust large amounts of money to an online casino. Perhaps you should insist they send you POSTAL receipts for all your deposits, as Cashcheck "isn't good enough".

If you printed off your online statement, scanned it, and then sent it, they wouldn't know the difference anyway provided it looked like the postal version with your address clearly shown.

You may have sent the wrong one, as my bank has an abilty to download the transactions, but in this situation you need the statement, which is usually a PDF file. From this, you print off the address page, and scan it. Short of asking for a copy of the envelope, they can't tell the difference, and this is INTENTIONAL, designed this way by the banks and utility companies in order to provide online bills that can be presented as legal documents.

You may have better luck with your electricity or water statement, prepared from the PDF as above.

Out of interest, what was the solution? (This may help others argue their case with this and other casinos).

all my statements and invoices are in pdf without exception, i go to check the cards of the house 2 times per month, to check pub, promotions, etc...... and the palace group already know my adress since i got an account in gnuf too and last month i received a promotion from them in my house, so they know that my adress its 100% correct

to solve the problem i just sent a PM to the casino rep here
(i was thought of be waiting days for an answer) but i was impressed

i got an answer form the rep. in less than 2 hours saying "your documents has now been aproved" while the support@thepalacegroup..... was saying "rejected" the rep here in less than 2 hours aproved all the documentation

i recomend if some other user have probs with that, to contact the casino rep here

It all seems to be down to over zealous cashiers, who did NOT treat you as a person, but as a number. The problem is that you would NOT have had such a speedy resolution if you didn't know about the abilty to contact a rep here, and had to rely on arguing with front line support.

yes, thats true

and thats the reason that i thanked to casino meister, because, if it wasnt here, probably the problem was unsolved because the front line was asking me to "go to the bank ask for a statemend with a stamp, thats the only way of we aprove the documentation"

asking me not for an statement but a statement with a stamp on it to be validated

but ok, i ignored the front line support, and here it was solved, without complains, now i think, this should happen allways in the "group" should update this faster resolution to the front line support too

Were they asking for it to be "notarised" by the bank (you take it there, and they sign it as being genuine)?

If they meant stamp on the envelope, firstly they don't even use stamps, but a business franking machine, and secondly this would be on the envelope, not the bill, so cashiers wouldn't see it. The envelope wouldn't even show the address, since businesses use window envelopes, with the address printed on the bill.

Verification needs to move with the times, as this is only going to become MORE common in the future. Sticking to the old ways will cut down the number of players who can play without problems. It's not even down to the banks, it is government pressure that is forcing them to move customers over to online billing in an effort to "save trees". Businesses get "brownie points" for cutting down the amount of paper they use, and this includes bills sent through the post.

they was crazy, the 1st front line support
and the goverments are pressing the banks to go online and save trees etc...
personaly, i was the 1st to go to online banking and online invoices, not for save trees, but to have less papers in the box, and save the invoices and staments without lose them...
now the stamp was impossible, the logo of the bank shows that its genuine i think....

Not really, but this would be the case with both an online statement, and a fake statement printed off from a fraudster's printer, scanned, and sent in.

When they DO post a bill or statement, they are not hand written or even signed by hand. They are printed on A4 bog standard printer paper, signed electronically using an image file of the notional cashier's signature, stuffed into an envelope, and posted. For those happy to have them online, it is better to have no paper clutter to worry about getting nicked from your bin and used to steal your identity, and no need to scan or manually record your bills for posterity. If you are one to keep all bills, no matter how old, you have a choice between filling a whole room, or half a CD, with the information.

The main purpose of a postal bill is to scan and send it to online casinos, but governments and companies do not recognise this as a valid reason for keeping them, so still pressure companies to move as many customers as they can over to online billing and direct debit payment. Tax incentives are also used to reward companies for creating less pollution due to excess paper work, and it uses less energy to host statements online than to have machines to print them and stuff them into envelopes.

Many companies are now fining customers through adding "paper bill charge" to the invoice, and this is not pennies, but almost £2 extra per printed bill, far above the actual costs of production and posting.
