Question about Rep power

How is the rep power for individuals arrived at? I did read the faq but I'm not clear on it.

The reason I'm asking is I noticed the difference in mine and someone else's and it caused me to wonder about it because the time we've been here isn't that different but some of the other things that I thought went into rep points aren't reflected as I thought. (see screenie)

For every 90 of days, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.
For every 200 posts, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.
For every 200 points of reputation points, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.

The above statements apply to "Rep Power" gain only and not to "Reputation Points" gain...

The thanking also gives 5 points per thank. You also recieve a point for thanking someone as well.

After the next software upgrade (probably next week), there will be some plugins installed to enable members to do certain things with their rep points.
