maybe it just my problem but something strange happen several days ago, my progressive tab of mg casino la vida is empty (miss all games batman ecc) i contact support and it say that have notify the problem to microgaming but several day have passed and i have no news and the issue remained .. someone else that play a lavida have this problem? i admit that i start to think bad (the casino deliberately excluded me from progressive games ???)

i can see all games ok. occasionally a game may disappear from the list so i use the search box to locate it.

I see that you are from Italy. Is it possible that the progressive games are no longer available to Italian players with the new regulations and the games are getting blocked? We have Microgaming for Denmark and we did not have the progressive games that are avaliable in other markets. I don't know a lot about the sites operating in Italy and I have nothing to do with LaVida but this may be worth checking as I cannot think of a reason why or how a site would exclude you from progressive games, especially on the Microgaming network.
Maybe go to a friends house and have them open an account to see if they have the same issues.

Yeah! One of my brothers have issues too... I think this game not really available on italy anymore! Hope this game would make some exception!

If this is the reason, why can't the casino just say so. Why all the "refer to Microgaming" followed by nothing. This is something Microgaming can answer in 5 seconds to an operator, who should then be able to relay this information to the player the same day.
Italian operators are supposed to be licensed, and the Italian rules may not allow them to offer certain types of game. The other explanation is that the operator is not properly licensed, so blocks progressives in order to not have the problems of paying a large sum to an Italian player that is certain to be looked into by the banking authorities.
MGS first used progressive blocking in the US market, and here it was all to do with staying "under the radar". They would not be able to pay a large progressive to a US player under the noses of the banks there without getting found out and the processor seized and shut down. The problem was avoided by removing all the progressives.
Having developed ISP geolocation blocking for the US, MGS can now use it to ensure that their software configures itself for whatever country a player is based in.
There is a test to demonstrate this. Log in via a proxy that would give you a non Italian IP address - DO NOT PLAY!!!!!!!! If the progressives show, log out and log in normally through your usual configuration. If the progressives vanish again, then the answer is that you have been blocked from playing them by the software, most likely a country based block.
This is not a watertight method though, as geolocation doesn't always work. You could end up getting wrongly geolocated even without using a proxy just because of the IP address allocated to you by your ISP not being recorded correctly as Italian. This would let you see and play the progressives, and with nothing to tell you that this is not allowed (you have already asked the casino, and as far as they are concerned, this is a software issue, not anything to do with play not being allowed). This could lead to a serious problem should you win one.

So, when did the games disappear?
You may have better luck asking 32Red about this. Given that 32Red don't have them either, this is almost certainly an MGS directive that the games not be available to Italian players. You should look to the Italian licensing rules for a reason why.
The big problem is that this directive has not been communicated to players, nor even support staff. This means that the less than 100% reliable geo blocking is the sole means being used to police this, and if it were to fail, an Italian player would be able to play progressives, even win one, and with no way of knowing that this is no longer allowed. The problem is what happens if such a player hits a big win. It could involve arguments over whether it is valid, and with nothing in the terms to say it's not, there would be a serious problem with any attempts at enforcing the rule.
The answer that it is a block on Italian players is still a theory, you are still waiting for the casino to get back to you on this, and they are supposedly waiting on Microgaming to "investigate the bug".
This issue is likely to affect other countries where licensing rules prevent casinos from offering certain games to players. Reliance on geolocation accurately determining which country a player comes from is going to create problems.
The issue first surfaced when Microgaming used this tool to block only certain US states. Players near the state border were able to access the software when they shouldn't have been able, whilst players in neighbouring states who should have been able to access the software found themselves blocked. This problem is likely to occur in Northern Italy, where it borders on countries not blocked from progressives. Players from these bordering countries may find themselves blocked from progressives in error.
sorry for delay to update the thread... i receive the answer from support several days ago and he say that mgs don't allow anymore italian player to play progressive...the only good thing is that support be very kind and several times apologise for delay because festive holiday also for mgs

register new players from italy even france seems .
second step done is the creation of a business unit called nexa ltd that does the dirty jobs
to enter the national market (read france,italy) and makes deals with the operators of the country that have a license in the betting market without looking who they are or if maybe
are mixed in dirty traffics (maybe mob)
so the result is that microgaming is starting to show its dark side ..

Prima is the Microgaming poker network.
The idea behind the block was to allow only operators with legitimate French or Italian licenses to offer Microgaming products in those countries. Having obtained the necessary license, the block on that operator can be removed.
The one thing that has annoyed players is that Microgaming often "jump the gun" by imposing the blocks before operators even have a fair chance to obtain the right license, and this causes a disruption for players. Lack of communication has been another problem, as when such blocks are implemented, players find out because the software appears to be faulty, and even the operator cannot immediately say what the problem is.
I am prepared for something similar as the new UK regulations come into force, as from that date, the whitelist system will be no more, and operators without UK secondary licenses will be operating illegally. IF Microgaming stick to their current policy, they may block former whitelisted operators that have no UK license from taking registrations or bets from UK players.
Before pulling out of the US altogether, one of the first moves from Microgaming was to block US IP addresses from playing progressive games. The next was to shift all US players onto an "unbranded" MGS product, known as "level 11", and after a year or so, this product shut down completely, leaving Microgaming unavailable for US players.
The press release appears to be based on those Prima operators having obtained the necessary license to offer the slots on their poker software, so Microgaming is going to supply them.

my mom teached me to not play with unknown people but seems that mg doesnt understand that his brand its covering with mud and some other brown material at the moment . if thing will continue like this because of the wisdom of some sob problem of microgaming not mine world is full of casinos!
