Private Poker Tournaments and online gambling will be legalized in Switzerland

Ok the swiss government just announced that they will reform the gambling laws and "allow" online casinos and poker sites. So far it is not officially allowed but it is tolerated and there is no risk that something happens.

They do write in the article that "Swiss landbased casinos can apply for a license" and that they want to block "illegal sites from overseas"

I know that this probably will still take a couple of years as our government works really slow, and also there's always the chance of people running a petition against it, still.... I guess this probably means that on some point in the future they will restrict access to casinos in other countries... Anyone has insight into this or knows a bit more about it?

It will be soner than later if they are going to do the same as the U.K and start tax'in sites, You canot breath in this country without being tax'ed :)
