About Us
I don’t expect change overnite.
However the changes suggested might fall short of what is needed.
There’s that saying...why do you keep doing the same thing and expect different results.
More guns is what is being proposed.
The president just less than 48 hours ago made some very good and reasonable suggestions and then what happened?
NRA got a hold of him and set him straight.

of course friendly. I have no animosity.
In regards to foreign policy each country should do what is right for their country and inhabitants. For example, what % of GDP does Finland spend on defense? It was 1.7% in 1960 and 1.4% in 2016, not much of a drop. The USA was 8.4% in 1960 and 3.3% in 2016. Other countries have pretty big drops as well.
Is anyone telling Finland they're spending too much?

On the domestic side, whenever any of these issues come up in the news cycle we hear how we should have it.
Immigration
Gun Laws
Healthcare
Tax Reform
This is where you are wrong...I am not a fan of mr trump. Big difference.
I grew up in a republican household...we are all republicans....I am the more liberal one....and this Republican Party is not what I grew up with. It is not the Republican Party that my parents and family know. It is unrecognizable.
In what world is it ok for Russians to be involved in the process of elections and for a Republican president to not condemn their actions? My mother and aunt have abondoned the party and have decided they will not vote next election....
Anti USA...never. Sorry. How many times do I have to repeat this.....I grew up in the USA...and went to school in nyc....and worked in Los Angeles ...and I love it just as much as I love The country I live in now and and and and and....
I have never been anti USA in my life...and never will be. I love the country too much...to be anything but pro USA.
I have every right to my opinion....and not once did I say anything that deserves that comment....as a matter of fact....I have consistently and continuously defended the USA when people on here decide it’s ok to post things like they do on posts like the ones above this one.
Seems you can't wait to post any little thing you hear against the administration. It's beyond some light criticism.
Totally misrepresents what is spent per year. US in 1960 - $45 Billion, 2016 - $611 Billion | Finland in 1960 - $48 Million, 2016 - $2.9 Billion.
Plus, Finland didn't feel the need to direct thousands of nukes towards Russia, even with their direct border or to start a cold war with a never ending arms race.
As for the domestic side, maybe listening sometimes to what others from the outside say would be a good thing. There are certainly smart people outside the US too who can bring some positives to a discussion/debate.
who said it's light criticism???
any little thing???...you think that things like ivanka being under investigation is little?
jared kushner probably making deals after he was senior advisor is little things?
both....family to the president ....and are in the white house and without proper security clearance are little things?
hope hicks, spicer, scarramucci, flynn, bannon, etc etc...all gone in a little over a year and some not even that much are little things?
and the indictments.....little. don't think so.
sexual harassment and rape allegations...little?
Arming teachers is not a little thing? my family has kids in high schools all over the usa....so yeah...I'm gonna criticize this....
the daily lying is not little...
the daily tweets that have nothing to do with american policy but have to do with his own fragile ego are not little.
you want people to stop criticizing this administration?....take away his god damn phone....that would be a good start.
i could list more if you'd like but i think i would run out of space. maybe harry can help me out...
these so called little things are not little. I don't post that he is drinking diet coke and eating chicken nuggets...
I am anti trump....not anti usa. and i will continue with these little things.
skip over my posts if you don't like them. reading them is optional.
and isn't it typical of the right...any criticism directed at them we are deemed anti american...and not a patriot...
whatever slotplayer...only you trumpsters are real patriots, americans and love the usa more.
1,24% of GDP in 2018. And that amount with a 1340 km border with Russia. But then again, the military here is not used for fighting wars all over the world. Like the, erm, US military? Perhaps one of the reasons why people outside the US see a need to voice their opinions regarding US military spending?
The military budget has remain pretty much the same mainly because of conscription.
It's about having respect for the office of the presidency, not so much the occupant.
I posted the links to security clearance levels, did you even look at it? Kushner is now not allowed to see PDB's. (Presidental Daily Briefing)
I posted the CNN timeline to the fast and furious scandal, not a even a peep.
You seem to believe what you want without ever getting all the facts.
Call me silly but I thought it was still permissible to comment on other countries' leaders, even if not resident there? What's all this fascination with taking sides, being pro or against
If someone from Honolulu went on to criticise Theresa May for her limp, inept performance as PM I wouldn't feel the need to rush to her defence. Being the leader of a country is not synonymous with caring for or having the best interests of the people, nor are they are a patriot by default, or me a non- patriot for not defending her![]()
respect for the office of the president????
are you kidding me....trump and family have made a mockery of the presidency and the white house....we can start with the fact that he hasn't released his taxes....that's the first thing he should have done like every other president....he shouldn't have hired his daughter and son in law....he hasn't stopped promoting his brand, he has gone on so many golf days it is a joke...and this after criticizing obama....his the lying alone is making a mockery of the presidency....his stupid tweets are below the office of the president........so please...the accusations are laughable.
respect is earned...and he has not earned my respect from the moment he launched his campaign with the whole birther issue....and calling mexicans murderers and then there is all the belittling, name calling and bullying...who does that...not a president...
as for your security clearance response....so what?? if i haven't answered its cuz there is nothing to say...cuz you have proven nothing.....and are missing the point.
he doesn't get daily briefings now the point is he did!!!!...without being cleared and you somehow tried to pass this off on the obama administration which again is so typical of the right....
and now both husband and wife are under investigation...
as for your fast and furious post....was it in response to something i posted....i don't even remember seeing it and if i did...i didn't read it sorry....
i'm done here for the next little while...
okay bye.
well you've turned out to be quite the jerk...and rude.
Not when you factor in the cost of maintaining. You know there is around 1 million more people in my state alone than the total population of Finland. You know Canada has about 10% and the UK about 20% of US population.
That second statement is just code for others telling how the US policy needs to be. Even worlds leaders that come here don't do it, publicly anyway.
Canadian PM - What is he saying about approach in 1 minute video?
What is Turnbull saying?
'we certainly don’t presume to provide policy or political advice'
thank you.

perhaps the reason your military is not used is other countries are carrying the weight? Just a thought.
Totally uncalled for . Rude much.
IIRC, the US is spending about the same amount for the military as the next 10 countries down the list TOGETHER.
Your big army spending has all to do with your government deciding to be the world police after WWII and trying to contain communism everywhere on the planet. You are one of the very few countries who never had a real international war on your territory (except Hawaii), you never been attacked like the European countries, yet you still thought you need a huge military.
Or it might be that we just don't see enemies everywhere and a constant need to push our ideology to everyone, by force if necessary?
Perhaps a different view of the world I guess.
I was all for Trump and wanted him to do well, said give him a chance etc etc just read through, it's somewhere in there in the 84 pages
When I see this blind partisan support for him and disregard for other people's viewpoints, that's where I see what people have been trying to say in regards to his favoured demographic. I don't like the crazy leftie media going nuts either, but some Trump fans will defend him to the death, like he can do no wrong. He's not beyond reproach.
So watch enough of the yee harr mentality and it's enough to turn people off Trump. He's not the Messiah....he's a very naughty boy![]()
could be a big military is why no attacks.

who are you now?
You really aren't very nice are you. Why am I not surprised. However you've mistaken me for someone who gives a damn. Your country your president. You seem to be happy for everyone to be armed like they are in a die hard movie. Go enjoy.
could be a big military is why no attacks.
You didn't have a big military 100 - 150 years ago, so no, that is not the reason. Maybe that is the case today but it certainly wasn't a century ago.
That's bit of an evasive answer, Harry obviously means a relatively small army. This by the way was also the case at the beginning of WWII -I don't know what size was back the then, smaller for sure.

What I don't understand is people like slotplayer who say "I don't care how nuts he is [sic] as long as he cuts taxes and I keep my guns" (I'm paraphrasing).
How can you not care how gung-ho he is? He seems to be trying to run the country like a despot... he makes up trade wars by tweeting whilst having a shit - totally unbeknownst to his advisors and the rest of the party. This cavalier attitude does absolutely nothing to further the US... you may think it does in the short term but you can't piss the EU, China, Canada, and the like off on a whim and expect no retaliation. And in the end trade wars nearly always hurt the poorest in the nations affected because prices go up and inflation goes up and in the end those worst off suffer and the fat cats just get fatter.
As some have commented, this "I will not budge" attitude of Trump support regardless of what he does is mind-boggling. If the leader of the UK was tweeting the stuff he is I'd be embarrassed - whether I'd voted for them or not.
There is little Trump has done positively in his first 12 months... sure there are some things he's done that are small wins but if he'd think before he spoke and put his chuffing phone down he might actually be able to do some good instead of being a walking talking liability....
Some commentator stated that Trudeau acts and emulates the behaviours akin to a teenage girl. It's hard to disagree on that frontWell individuals have been voted in for a even flimsier reasons and delivered even less *cough* Justin Trudeau *cough*

Not usually a fan of censorship but Twitter need to shut Trump's account forthwith. Nothing worse than watching a pair of grown-ass men, or any 'leaders' start hurling playground insults at one another. And Trump does the worst. In fact, he's lost a lot of respect because of his tweets.
So the wrestling one was quite funny, but really now, not something you want to see from the leader of the free world. Leave the faux- outrage and silliness to us serfs![]()

We think we have it bad, but whenever I hear his name I shudder already. Your PM is a complete fanny.lol you leave poor Justin alone. He has already cried 3 times this week
Im going to start calling him Justine since he wants names to be gender neutral so he shouldnt mind
Well to be fair one could say 95% of his tweets fit into this category, but the infamous wrestling skit was also via Twitter if I recall correctly.I is confused, who tweeted that stuff?

But here it is, for your delectation. You've seen it
