I have been watching coverage of President Trump's inaugural parade and watching Melania Trump. I have to say she is gorgeous and so refined looking. Not making a political statement here just saying she looked great. Poised and elegant.

    I'm watching it right now.
It's very un-nerving seeing all those people protesting their own president

There's a viable possibility that someone might jump out of the crowd and try to attack!

Especially as the establishment are so anti Trump. I have been listening to the BBC's coverage and it is inflammatory. It is so negative towards Trump that I find it offensive (As I do the BBC's anti Brexit reporting)
I may not like a lot of his personal views and attitudes but he should be given a chance before the BBC condemn him.

She is pretty and probably the most glamorous First Lady since Jackie O, even if she insists she doesn't want the title and can't really speak English too well!

And yes I did recoil in horror after seeing the thread title :p

As for the protesters, there were about 600 students that looked like Pirates OTC rejects and smashed a few windows. They soon went running like pussies when the police cracked out the tear gas, it was a pitiful sight.

There's peaceful protesting and trying to get one's point across in a civilized manner, problem with these dimwits is that they have the reasoning skills of an infant and cannot hold reasonable debate, and inevitably almost always resort to petulant outbursts and idiocracy.

When News stations wish too they totally ignore protesters. When they wish too they highlight a protest and exaggerate the numbers protesting which fuels the flames so more people join in. The public can be so easily manipulated

Agreed + 100% I watched in on CNN and CBNC so the coverage has been positive for the most part. In the past I always felt the BBC to be impartial but lately not so much. I think they are trying to sensationalize things too much like Sky News. They should stick to being unbiased IMHO.

The BBC and Channel 4 are 100% anti Brexit and Trump, it's an utter disgrace especially from the BBC!

BBC - Blatantly Biased Corporation, has been for 15 or 20 years now. Although I call it the 'Anti-British Broadcasting Corporation.

Anything or anybody to right of Chairman Mao are subtly and not so-subtly vilified and ridiculed, as are their views and ideas. If you aren't a Guardian-reading yoghurt knitter you'll never get employed there so no wonder.

The whole spectacle was worth it just to see crooked Hillary's face, exhaling and looking like she had a mouth full of wasps to conceal. :D

Ha ha. Hillary's face portrayed the feelings of all of those who thought that their gravy train would never end.
I get the impression that Trump wants to reform how America works from top to bottom. Will he do it successfully and without it resulting in global chaos?

Exactly the same in Ireland and The Netherlands.
The anti Trump hate campaign from the so called "neutral" western press and media is teeth grindingly obvious.
A big shame to all of them!

Like you said,I do not agree on all his p.o.v's but give the man a chance...

I mean America's foreign policy has rubbed a lot of nations up the wrong way.

    Not helped by Trump's mantra:

"Let's Make America Grate Again":eek::eek::eek::cool:

I for one don't understand protesting against someone who wants to give America back to the American people, by breaking some poor business mens windows out burning cars, throwing bricks at police officers who are just hoping to make it home to loved ones after each and every shift. I don't understand the human race sometimes. There is so much hate and cruelty. Everyone deserves a chance and Washington has gotten very rich on the Americans peoples dime. I think we needed a business man in office for a long time. Maybe we won't pay $50 for a .05 screw. Everyone deserves a chance. I certainly don't condone the way he acted at times and the things that he said but President Trump he will be for at least the next 4 years and I only wish him great success because that means success for America.

I think Melania is absolutely gorgeous as well as classy!!

They say that one of the biggest things that people can not stand is change. Trump represents a global change judging by his rhetoric

I have to say that I was so pissed off when I was watching channel NBC earlier today, reporting on Trump's Inauguration.

It was a flashback to President Carter's Inauguration day and the fact that President Carter refused to travel in the armored Presidential car to greet the people on his way to the White House.

Here was a new fresh faced-faced reporter today, from NBC, making a comparison and 'reaching', ( sorry, didn't catch her name) insinuating that Trump is a coward for not walking outside of an armored car towards the White House. What?

The continuous innuendoes of a tragedy from this reporter was more than I could take.

It was almost as if she were calling for it.

Protestors are nothing but criminals. They are trouble makers who rarely even have a belief but more look for an excuse to smash shit up.

Please tell me how lighting a car on fire is going to change anything. All you are doing is being dangerous.

There are protests with every president. Happened with Obama and Bush etc.

He seems like the peoples president and his speech was great. Hopefully he does what he says.

I know what you mean. I was very nervous for the whole family. I wanted those grandchildren and children to stay in the cars. I was glad they didn't walk long. Too many nuts.

    i'm not a trump supporter...does anybody like a cyberbully? or a misogynist. or a racist...but anyway....

.....the station i was watching was pretty fair. abc news...they talked about empty stands at parade and not the crowds we saw with obama...but that's too be expected. obama made history.
they talked about protesters being a small group far away from the white house and inauguration...

melania looked spectacular ...she evoked jackie o in her outfit...
