There is no question about it, more guns = more deaths.
Everybody should have the right to protect themselves and their families. With what though? An atomic bomb, small scale maybe?
So there is always a line on what you can use for protection and statistics and logic say that this line should be at non-lethal means.

It is not easy. There is a gun culture and a lot of money involved. But something must be done and nothing has worked so far in US. Something works in other countries though, doesn't it make sense to try it?

Everyone saying it is not a "gun issue" is either delusional or a hypocrite. How a developed, modern country can allow "Jim and Johnny" to buy assault rifles, automatic guns, etc. and all that in the name of a centuries-old amendment and self-defense against intruders, is just not understandable in this time and day. By all means, have a pistol in your bedroom drawer if it gives you more security, but to have weapons that are normally used in full scale wars certainly won't make your house safer.

And of course, Mr. T using it for his own political gains by asking the FBI to stop the Russia investigation and go back to their day-to-day job. I wonder what the FBI office in Florida has to do with the Russia investigation? Some of the surviving students had though perfect answers for him.

It is very disturbing what is going on these days and i wish it would stop. Now hollywood film makers are going out of their way to make movies just to include the opposite sex or race. I cant remember what movie it is thats coming out but its an all female cast, same with black panther, all black cast. Its pathetic this is done on purpose, just make movies the best way they see fit. I dont mind if they did that because its a good idea but to make a movie for political reasons...zzzzz. Its sort of like the Canadian government. Hiring officials in the government who either are muslim or female just to be diverse. Instead of hiring the best person for the job. there are tonnes of great female actresses that have lead roles because they are best for the job. Throwing some female in their just to be equal is ridiculous. It already is equal

Look at american reporters during the olympics, they are getting completely hammered by the world because they brought their political bias agenda with them to the commentators and already numerous of them have been fired. Everything these days has to have an agenda and you can no longer enjoy a single thing on tv without their being a reason for it.


Woman fought hard for equality and more woman are working more than ever and many being the bread earner for families, high end jobs and respected in society. I find it absolutely insulting that certain governments are going out of their way constantly to try and cater to us. We are doing a fine job by ourselves, we dont need some cuck changing every single law to make us feel more loved and recognized.

The issue is social media like twitter. It gives either the mentally ill or feminists or whomever a platform to unite in large numbers and create drama and pressure on companies to change things they dont like. And companies constantly fold to the pressure. There was a study done that show there are 125 million females in the USA. Out of the 125 million females 18% are feminists. Its a small number comparatively but give these people a twitter account and there is enough of them to cause an uproar. They did a study to see how many female americans disagreed with the 18% and it was somewhere around 60% disapproved and 12% didnt even care to comment. That is 75 million females who do no agree with extreme feminism and their viewpoints. But because they dont tweet their opposite viewpoints than that of the feminists to these companies or hashtag movements... political parties and companies feel the pressure to cave to the drama queens.

Thankfully, my life and job has zero of this small population around me and I can go on about my day living a normal life without all the drama. And sometimes I think I should change my homepage away from yahoo and not read the news. because the only time I get pissed off is when I read some stupid movement or when companies change their policies because feminists are outraged. And I shouldnt get pissed off because it is nowhere in my life or the people around me.

He made a great speech to the country, the teachers and everyone else. He gave it a couple of days and went after the FBI for not doing their job and saving their lives.

Try to look at it this way. You have kids and there was a neighbor who threatened to slaughter your children. You report them to the police and show them the threats. The police walk away and do absolutely nothing. Not long after your kids are murdered. A politician than tweets those police should have done their job properly and takes a jab at them about something else.

Who are you going to be furious with? I choose the police. If I tweeted, my anger would be laced with a tirade against the law enforcement that did nothing and now Im standing in a cemetery burying my children because of it.. There wouldnt be a single tweet about the politician. it would be about the people who allowed my kids to be murdered.

There is just no way in my eyes these kids tweeted that for anything but attention and the FBI agents involved should be fired too. They should get shamed and held accountable because they are a large reason why these kids were killed. So again, where is the outrage your friends are in a cemetery because a federal policing agency didnt do their job when given large amounts of evidence prior?

This isn't the first time the FBI has dropped the ball, four events that I can remember, but this was the most egregious. Not sure if it's manpower (oh wait Sorry Justin, people power), procedure or incompetence but it certainly needs to be looked at closely.

Apparently and I heard this from a friend of mine who works for the liberal party here, trudeau was trying to find a way to introduce that female names and men names no longer are defined for strictly men and females. His example was, mens names should no longer be for just men and same for females. That parents should feel open to naming their female children David, Micheal etc and families should feel free to name their boys Elizabeth, Lisa Amanada etc. This was discussed around the same time he introduced gender neutral cards that now removes whether you are a male or female on your health card or drivers license.

But after feedback from some of his advisors they decided against introducing the name policy. I am not kidding and this person was not making it up.

Just last week, Russians tried to sell a fake hooker, Trump video to the NSA.

Also, the facebook marketing manager in charge of facebook ads has stated that most of the ads purchased were after the election and much of it was not election related. These ads were given to congress, Mueller and the investigation team. The facebook ads manager spoke out and stated that they relayed this to numerous media outlets but those media companies chose not to release them because it went against their agenda.

I decided to try and find any statements directly from facebook to see if it was true. And I found all of those statements on his verified twitter account.

I think this is where we get to see a non politician shine. While past presidents only met with parents or whatever for photo ops, Trump was right in there today asking parents to hear their suggestions and ideas on what should be done.

We heard suggestions from the parents such as armed guards, metal detectors, undercover police holding staffing positions in schools, having volunteer teachers/staff train for situations so they can be ready if it happens.

I agree with the parent who said right now these murderers see schools as a soft target where they have a non protected large group of people as target practice for approx 6 minutes before police can arrive.

I think this is where we get to see a non politician shine. While past presidents only met with parents or whatever for photo ops, Trump was right in there today asking parents to hear their suggestions and ideas on what should be done.

We heard suggestions from the parents such as armed guards, metal detectors, undercover police holding staffing positions in schools, having volunteer teachers/staff train for situations so they can be ready if it happens.

I agree with the parent who said right now these murderers see schools as a soft target where they have a non protected large group of people as target practice for approx 6 minutes before police can arrive.

One thing I see Mr. T being really good at is sensing what will get him good ratings. And this is exactly what happened here, nothing else.

To understand why, google for his speech at the NRA convention. It took him months to "biggly" announce how he instructed the DOJ to look into bump stocks regulation, well knowing (most probably vetted by his friends at the NRA) that any change will be met with law suits that will delay any change for years. The same now with the case in Florida, took him days to mention the word "guns" in his statements and only did it when he realized that the student movement was gathering momentum and popularity. Now he is riding on that to increase his ratings. At that he is indeed a genius.

What will happen with legislation was clearly shown just days ago when the Florida Republicans voted united against moving a proposed legislation change for assault weapons.

Sorry mate, the root cause is allowing assault weapons with large magazines that can kill a lot of people in a few seconds being bought by the dozens by anyone over 18.

Mental illness is not new and I don't see mentally sick people in other countries ravaging through schools, nightclubs and concerts with weapons designed to kill many in a very short period of time.
