its not really good enough to win competition but im quite happy with this hit and it was only my 2nd set of free spins on this slot (no retriggers either). The rest was picking thingies (which shouldnt be in the game to begin with imo but its kinda ok as you can gamble it), and the other feature which is nice as i didnt ever get anything lower than 30x or 35x there. At one point slot has gone crazy, i think ive had like 7 features in 30 spins

I wasted my winnings away then on Madame Destiny, what a dire slot Daniel.

I like 5 Lions much more than Jimbob Hatstand and Da Vinci's Turdbombs.

After giving it a decent session in free play I felt happy enough to play it with some real money, do note however that the minimum bet is 50p. (Any reason there isn't a 25p option as well?)

The fact that any win can have a high multiplier on it in the base game keeps it reasonably involving at all times, and being able to choose your own balance between number of spins/multiplier range in the free spins round, with the (slightly) expanded reels is a nice touch.

243-ways is welcome (576 in free spins), no need to worry about winlines, but doesn't jump on the silly Megaways style bandwagon.

Didn't hit anything too crazy in 500 spins, so this 137x win during free spins is my entry for now.

Definitely feels more sensible variance wise than Jack Beardface (and indeed Pragmatic flag it as one notch lower on their variance scale), and doesn't test the player's patience with three bonus round possibilities, two of which are crap.....

Graphics, music and sound are all very pleasant - I have to say I really like the aesthetics of Pragmatic's slots.

CRITICISM - The red and gold dragon symbol, and slightly different shade of red and gold phoenix symbol look far too similar to each other, and makes reading the reels irritatingly tricky at times, especially as the base game's multiplying wild symbol is also red and gold. (The fact that the wilds have alternate colours in the free spins round is a big help.)

OVERALL - A decent game, makes me interested to try out more of Pragmatic's output.
