Pragmatic Play Big Bass Games

I had crumbs left in one of the crypto casinos I frequent so decided to put a few spins through Secrets of the Golden Lake at 0.10 per spin. Ended up getting the bonus and picking the super bonus card on my very first (and only) bonus. It’s nice that the super bonus can be obtained from the base game.

Splash is awful, just come off there having done £300 in £1 spins with no feature.

Secrets of the Golden Lake seems even worse . I’ve tried that game since in came out .. done a few thousand, never had a bonus go above X2, top win in all that time is x50.

Never seen the Golden Lake feature.

Considering asking my casino what my RTP on this game is, I seriously think it will be in the 50-60% range, and over a large amount of cash and spins it's ridiculously bad. I'm pretty sure they'll just tell me it's working ok and they've been tested blah blah blah. But there must come a figure where it’s almost impossible for a game to underpay so much so consistently and for them to still be confident that it is playing ok.

So what am I missing?

Stake £1.50 bonus buy cost £150
Stake £1.50 with ante for increased chance of bonus. £2.25 that's 50% increase*

Deposit £500 play with ante bet on @£2.25 base game dead bust out in 235 spins with no bonus*

That's constantly happening on these big bass games. That's 3 times bonus buys worth for no bonus and RTP of under 10%

Bonus from play without bonus buy 28 out of 30 are 10 or 20x return*

Never see the max win fish get caught and it's a rarity to get to level 2 let alone 10x multi level.

Seriously how are they getting away with ripping players off in such a way?

I've had to take time out through GameStop this year because of these big bass games* I'm well over £40,000 down in losses. I had 1x £4,500 win from a £5.25 stake bet, and ever since over 2000 bonuses on stakes between .90 through to £18 all paid 10 or 20x and this is with the ante bet on. Only 11 of those 2000 plus bonuses paid 50x or highest 1 324x

The games are somehow highly addictive and you know you getting blatantly robbed and keep telling yourself that surely it can't continue to be so awfully bad but it really is!

What's your experiences been like?

I have just started playing these slots recently because I came across a youtube channel called gambler girl and she had videos of these slots with some good wins from UK players , She changed the name to her channel recently so it's Syko and Dyko now , I also needed a change from the older slots I have been playing because of really bad sessions , I haven't had much gameplay on them to give a proper opinion about them , But I have had some bonuses my biggest was just over 100x on Splash a couple of times , I have tried other ones like amazon extreme , reel action , mission fishin and day at the races but not had many bonuses or no bonuses on some of them , I'm actually quite enjoying them , If I get any decent wins I will post them on here , No idea when that will be as my slot sessions have been really bad recently.

IMO they are terrible games, but if you insist on playing them make sure u check the RTP in the help files.

Depending on where ur playing some will be as low as 91%!

Bet 365 has them all on top RTP. Not sure anywhere else does.

Don’t think that it won’t stop you from having terrible baron runs on them tho because it won’t, some of them are so brutal and pretty much all have shocking base games.

Tread carefully.

agree lot of casinos they changing RTP to 91%, all 91% RTP gets on top casino so they target players to play on 91% @Playojo uses same trick all 91% games are on top on casino, for now best UK casino is Bet365

I was playing big bass splash this morning , It was the first time I got all the mods , So I got more fishermen , More fish , 2 extra spins , start on level 2 and extra hooks and explosions , I didn't make it to level 3 , So I'm assuming the mods don't mean anything , I thought I would at least get to level 3 but I was 1 fisherman short.

The upgrades are all bollocks. I've had them all numerous times it don't make a difference.

I once had all the upgrades and it gave 10 dead spins and the feature ended.

At this moment I knew the upgrades didn't mean shit.

Also you will get more fisherman upgrade only for him to come out once the entire 10 spins.

The upgrades are bs.

I just had a 4 scatter and most of the enhanced features bonus on Big Bass Splash earlier today. I got 17 spins and got 86x and never got past the x1 section. Total crap.

Paradoxically lowering the RTPs to those levels might be beneficial, at least to me. Why? Because I refuse to play slots with RTP under 96.

Like, I used to play slots mostly on Unibet. Then they went and lowered the RTP on most of their slots. I left. Nowadays I only play there if I get a good bonus.

If it gets to a point where no casino offers slots with, say, 95+ RTP, I think I'll be able to stop playing slots altogether — I mean, what's it good for anyway.

Last week I think it was , Paddy Power who have the mid range 94.X RTP setting we’re doing a daily offer of wager £10 and get 10 free spins.

Now I NEVER play slots that are not on max RTP unless there is some kind of promotion or very occasionally me and my mate use VS due to their large catalogue to do a bonus hunt while we have a few beers. Might throw £50/£100 each in and see where we end up with. But other than that I simply refuse to session anything at all that’s not on the max setting.

Now back to paddy…….

I had about £7.XX balance left over from a withdrawal so I had a pop at the offer.

Thought I’d do 100 spins on 10p to wager the £10 and see what I got.

Well the £7.XX balance wasn’t enough!! So had to deposit a fiver to see it out ffs!!

From my 100 spins on 10p I lost £9.62!!!! The 10 free spins returned absolutely fuck all obviously!!!

This is not uncommon gameplay on these dog shit games for me in the slightest, even on the max setting!!

One of the great slotting mysteries in life is how the fuck these big bass games and their older brother blueprint Fishin Frenzy games EVER make RTP.

They constantly play the same EVERYTIME I have a crack at them.

Dog shit games.

I play big bass slots over 7 years now . I had at least 3000x the freegames. 2 times the big fish, max 10 times made to the 10x round. 3 times over 1000 Euro . I play min on ,50 stake to max 5 Euro stake.
This week honestly i felt the slots are just an ugly script to stole our money. I could see with my own eyes, every time when the scatter were on the first 2 lines, that on the other 3 lines no scatter was available. But funny, when all the lines stopped, you could see little bit from one scatter on the last line even if you couldn't see it in the time the lines was playing. Who is playing this slots knows what I mean. In over 90 % of my freegames I had my first fisherman in the spin nr 6.
The worst results I had on n1 casinos. Unbelievable big scam.
I made multiple complaints at german authorities because I think pragmatic play is giving scam slot software and the casinos are using that.
Pragmatic play is offering their software even to unlicensed casinos. For example I won once a total of 5000 Euro on thei slots at SpinBuffalo.com. The casino was not paying out, they didn't hat license at all. The slots were 100% original from pragmatic play. Now if you play there you can see the slots are not original anymore. I wrote a letter to the license authority from pragmatic play and asked them why is pragmatic play allowed to share th3 software with unlicensed casinos. Nobody is doing nothing against them. Nobody! Untli someone makes a group of people , and Hopefully hundert of customers together sign a complain against them . The complain should be send at European Court.

And one other scam proof is on big bass original and Christmas version, if you see on one line two scatter, one up and one on the bottom, you know 99,9 % no third scatter is coming , but 99,9 is coming the second one.

Everything sounds familiar? What about if you made to 2x Round or 3x Round? How many times the Round is paying 0 because no fisherman is coming? If one is coming no fish is there. I had with 5 Euro stake 160 Euro win even if I had 2 fisherman on 3x Round. Big bass games are a scam. The casinos are using their software because we are addicted to this slots. They won money. Until the authorities are controlling them, they will steal our money!

Interesting opinion, but I'm not 100% convinced of it myself yet. Such thoughts appeared, but I wrote them off to banal bad luck and high volatility.

I personally think the BBB games are terrible. Endless teases to distract you from the endless dead spins. Which IMO is why casinos promote those garbage games to death. Teases themselves being a dopamine hit provider, which gets people addicted.

Though, while up there in the all time shitters hall of fame, still not as bad as starburst. A game which casinos pushed to the front page and promoted with free spins to get players playing. A game that never delivers anything worthwhile, a game that grinds away balances without hardly ever giving hits enabling big withdrawals for the player. All the while advertising something that probably hasn't been achieved since its creation, the full screen of bars for a pathetically small maximum win.

Anyway, I assume that the reason a fisherman likes to drop with no fish on the higher multipliers is possibly just a deliberate teasing spin put into what is a losing spin.
NLC (no limit city) for example, went into detail on this forum a few years back in regards to how they set the slots they made to (randomly) occasionally throw in a close shave teasing spin if a particular losing spin occurred that had also triggered the graphics to display the losing spin as a close shave tease.
Such a tease that (imo) was added to give the players emotional swings and dopamine hits. Without that lying tease, NLC games, being off the scale in variance, will otherwise become so boring so quickly that the player loses interest.

So uhh, yeah. My guess is that the reason you sometimes see the a fisherman or 2 land with no fish in the higher multipliers of the bonus, is the game throwing an occasional tease to keep the player engaged with a game that, similar to NLC - hardly ever does anything, ever.

I think that If it didn't throw in the occasional fisherman tease, it would become way too obvious very quickly to a lot of people that the real mathematical chances of genuinely hitting both a fisherman and a fish above 2x stake value on the screen together while spinning through higher multipliers of the bonus, are so far fetched and rare that without the occasional teasing fisherman, many punters woud hardly ever damn well see one at that stage at all. It woud be too obvious, which would put a lot of people off and never return.

Nobody wants to spin 300 times and endure 285 (expensive) dead base game spins, something which BBB slots regularly produce, only to then finally get a bonus where the fisherman keeps getting the last laugh by jumping overboard and drowning himsef each time you got above 2x mutiplier.
No, they want people to think it's more regular than it really is. That the fisherman is still above water and that all the fish above 2x stake haven't just been hoovered up by China's fishing fleet.

The tease is suggesting to people who don't understand how slots are designed that there is hope. That they were just unlucky those 18 previous times where 0 fish dropped if the fisherman appeared on those higher multipliers the rare times they got that far. While with games such as Big bass Bonanza, 99.95% of the time when you do finally get that far during the bonus, there really isn't any hope at all.

Just an imo post of course. Probably also a few paragraphs longer than really required, but what's done is done.

Who hacked your account lol as you've never made such a long post that made perfect sense before.🤣

I don't think I have to say more . This slots had nothing to do with casino or with luck. They are just set up to pay same money every time. I thought a casino like n1 with such a high score here will be different. Not at all even worst then other casinos. Such bad results I don't remember when I had it last time. Wait I do remember, yesterday.

You can apologise to my scroll wheel finger .

Jokes aside the casinos where you play them have nothing to do with the slot outcomes, other than selecting the RTP varaint they get.

The same variant will play exactly the same on any legit casino you play at as it's coming from the providers servers one way or another.

I have to say , yes the bbb slots are really bad . But the worst experience ok this slots I had on oshi.io.
49 of 50 feature bonus are paying under 50x stake. I have friends , they win every time more money on this slots playing on tipico casino who has 1 Euro max stake and is one of the worst casinos in Germany with rtp under 88%. But they still win every time with 0,50 Cent stake more then I do on oshi.io with 2 Euro stake. Is just unbelievable. And if this has something to do with luck or chances it supposed to pay little more after so many chanses but it doesn't.

After reading this thread and already thinking this myself, I have to say I always felt like big bass plays better on min bet/small stakes than higher stakes.

I would never touch it at even £1 spins, the most I go up to is around 60p at the most.

I often find you can tell when its in the mood giving teases every other spin, or going on a run of back 2 back bonuses.

And you can tell when it's not gonna pay imo, scatters are sparse and you can't even get 2 scatters for a tease, if it's playing like this I leave.

That's how I do well on them, I've had 2 withdrawals in the past 3 days from no deposit free spins on big bass games at completely different casinos.

At both casinos I was playing min bet of 10p.

So I can not bad mouth the game as it's always been good to me, however I only play on min bet so I wouldn't know how it plays on higher stakes.

But after seeing this thread I think I'll stick to the min bet.

Whatever you do , don't play this slots on oshi.io.
Like I said, and I can post every time the results from there, the wins are so small that I can't explain how this could something to do with luck. And if we talk about chances, in 100 Feature bonus who can be just one over 100x stake ? Or how is possible that not even one is over 2 or 300 ? Because is fair ? No way haha. But anyway top casino :)

Right, you were warned about this in another thread.

As others have mentioned, it's not the casino that's responsible for your bad luck on a specific game.

You've got until Monday next to let this sink in.

You may benefit from a few days off.

Call me crazy but i have always called the fisherman Steve,

There are variants of Steve for each big bass version

allow me to explain....

Big bass bonanza = Steve

Big bass splash = Steve Nash, the Texas fisherman

Big bass day at the races = Cheltenham Steve

Bigger bass bonanza = Disco Steve

Bigger Bass Splash = Tropical Steve

Big Bass Bonanza Christmas = Crimbo Steve

And so on.....

Are you insinuating that the name Steve is a common name to be used for comedy value -_-
