Yes, I make it no secret that I gamble online.

They all know, but most are disapproving. My Niece smokes, and I disapprove of that.

This week she said she would quit smoking if I quit gambling, and I asked her when was the last time she lit up, and suddenly had the money for a new conservatory

That is next on my list. Just under 11K spent, 55K left (thanks Lucky Nugget).

I DO hide the size of my biggest hits from certain people though, as they would volunteer to help me spend it.

11K - full 4Kw solar PV now on roof, awaiting connection and conversion of capital into "annuity" paying around 8% from the UK Government FIT scheme I will be 76 years when this ends, and even then it should still be at 90% of original output, cutting my electric bill, especially in the summer.

A decent conservatory will probably be just as much, maybe more. It will be a transition space between indoors and outdoors, somewhere to watch big storms from in the dry, and somewhere else for the great niece and nephew to play.

I might have some explaining to do when my niece next comes up, and will need a suitable "half truth" story prepared about why there is a conservatory instead of a raised hillock full of weeds.

I did, I voted "yes"

At least my latest win stops me mentioning that other one (the house).

No outright ban, but a growing list of bonus bans for getting these big slot payouts.


As we all know, there is no such thing as a working "slot system", and any casino that claims they need to ban me altogether rather than merely stop the boni will be a laughing stock

Once I have been bonus banned from most casinos, I will consider writing the book and selling it

It is. I am from the UK, so calling it a "sunroom" would breach our trade descriptions act, especially this year so far
