Bloody minefield out there now ..
In 2016 i excluded from betfair, been using sky Vegas since.
will this cause a issue you think at some point?..
I fully agree.Same ownership, different licences.
This is the problem with casinos changing ownership - and Sky has changed hands a few times in the last recent years - it should not be allowed to retrospectively pass exclusions over cross-licence following a sale. The layman doesn't understand who the Flutter Group are.
There has to be a better way.
Spent over 8k in 2 days with them and was over a issue regarding payments.only minefield if you self exclude, if you do that you should never gamble again. I time out to take breaks but s self exclude is admitting you have a problem you can't control. This should only ever be used in extreme circustances.
Just tried to contact sky Vegas, phone option is off and chat looks to be taking forever.Sadly it’s also often the only “obvious” option if you want to close the account. And I’d guess a lot of people use it for that reason.
There should be a licence obligation that the account page must offer an immediate link to close the account. Not an email request. A simple button.
That’s what I’m trying to do, no way will I gamble a penny without written clarification all is ok going forward.Aye, Sky and Betfair will only have come under the same ownership since 2018. They've probably not noticed, but if they want to check, sensible to know first.
This is my issue. My betfair SE was 2016 not gambling related.
contacted sky and had no reply as yet.

You got your 14p balance back mate, every cloud and all.....
That much is true, we live and learn. It's easy to be dismissive of 14p, as it's generally not a life-altering amount.
Things get a tad more serious however when talking about that poster a while back who spent 6 years chasing up £1
It puts things in perspective, and is somewhat humbling if truth be told

Thank god for small mercies, 14p or a returned pound to the disgruntled player..
