Please explain to me? (RTG casinos)

Can someone please explain to me how it is that RTG casinos CAN STILL take USA players and are willing too yet NO ONE ELSE will? And has anyone heard any updates on online gambling in USA? Thanks

The casinos and the casino groups are choosing whether or not to stay in the US market, some are choosing to pull out, like MG are doing with new player sign ups, but most of the RTG and Rivals have not mentioned anything about leaving...

Rob, I can always count on you to inform me, thanks for the reads. <wink> I thought it was an issue for the casinos of "can or can't" but it is an issue of "will or won't". Ok, that said I don't understand even if this gets through before Bush leaves office HOW that will change ANYTHING? Isn't it still under individual state laws? And if so how come living in a state that IS NOT on list has trouble? I must be missing something, way to complicated for me

Too complicated for me as well. I am feeling very dense after reading all the different things about it, I need someone to tell me yes or no, and you can now deposit anyway you like!

Lisa, it's the Microgaming Casinos themselves that are making this issue way more complicated that it needs to be, first they're pulling out, then they're not, but they will not be taking any new sign-ups, BUT not all of the MG groups...just certain ones, then they are sending out emails to their US customers telling them that they can now use eCheck again as a deposit method...starting to get the picture here how certain MG Casinos have even managed to confuse their own staff...it's a can of worms right now with some of these groups...

there is absolutely nothing new Reg. wise via the Fed or Treasury. bankersonline.com is also a good site to keep up to date.

The economy has way worse problems to worry about right now and I suspect the economy and credit crunch is part of the problem Microgaming is having.

Also, they are probably having problems finding processors due to the credit problems.

Microgaming should have stuck with ach and echecks non of which are being scrutinized by banks at least at the moment.
