Interesting development in this press release from Casino Rewards out today.

The wording could be construed as indicating an ownership change, although postings on affiliate sites seem to suggest a change of programs rather than ownership.

LAS VEGAS, February 10, 2011

Popular online casino network CasinoRewards.com has added another 3 prestigious online casinos to its family. The elegant and stylish Grand Mondial, the glamorous Quatro Casino and the 'most generous casino on the net' Casino Share have joined the 19 other award winning online casinos at CasinoRewards.com.

"We are delighted to have 3 immensely popular online casinos join our group. Existing players at each casino will be well looked after under the CasinoRewards.com brand, and will benefit immediately from regular promotions and giveaways," C. Leigh, CasinoRewards.com

CasinoRewards.com has become synonymous for its generous weekly promotions and enormous free money giveaways. Most recently, CasinoRewards.com celebrated its 10th anniversary by giving away an incredible $14,565,989 over 10 weeks of nail biting action.

Regular casino bonuses, free spins, a huge selection of online casino games and safe and secure gaming assured by industry watchdog eCogra are just a few of the benefits that set Casino Rewards casinos apart from competitors. With the addition of 3 well established, high quality online casinos to its all-star lineup, CasinoRewards.com guarantees its position as the first choice for players across the globe.

Great, spamming of the new casinos will probably start soon.

Players from Playshare can now get used to 48h pending periods and locked rewards accounts.

I have seen no signs of this so far, but WILL be affected in the end. Luckily, I am a VIP at Casino Rewards, BUT this means a REDUCTION in the offers, since Grand Mondial & Co give offers "once per casino", and Casino Rewards have "once in the group, on any one account".

Instead of 25% up to £200 at Players Palace, 25% up to £360 at Casino Share, and 25% up to £100 at Grand Mondial, I will get ONE "25% up to £xxx" that I can use on any ONE casino within the Casino Rewards group.

Many players will see REDUCED offers unless Casino Rewards decides to run these brands apart from the rest.

In any case - players should cash in any comp points in these 3 casinos in case CR have locked their Rewards account, or money is reduced in the transfer of reward points into the Rewards Account.

When CR took over Casino Action, I was offered some pretty big introductory bonuses to celebrate the move, but this didn't last long.

I think one even offered 25% up to some £25,000:eek2:

seems, all the busted MGS operators go to the Casinorewards bone yard.

I have an stoneold account at Grandmondial, now I can expect again truckloads of spam from Rewards :(

Casino Rewards are the central black hole in the galaxy of online casinos, and eventually ALL MGS casinos will fall into it & die:D

I am shocked:confused:

I've just had it confirmed by a reliable source that this is indeed a sale and not just a change of affiliate program. I have no additional information beyond that.

Just launched Grand Mondial, and it's updating to the Casino Rewards livery.

Fine,

but......

WHERE'S MY BLOODY COMP POINTS:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

How about giving players a bit of notice so that they can be redeemed and placed into the casino balance prior to transfer. These have been EARNED through play, they are not a "freebie".

Comp points were also confiscated from Casino Action when Casino Rewards took over. I lost £20 then, but now I have lost around £150 worth of earned comps.

Lastly, what of the umpteen "white label" casinos run from Grand Mondial/Casino share (and in particlar, the £1800 W/D from Players Palace I made yesterday).

I bet their CS will be overwhelmed with such queries, so I will wait until something has clearly gone wrong (such as no comps showing after the stated 48 hours, or not getting paid my withdrawal).

So, who is next - Jackpot Factory?

....?

Exactly what I was about to ask.....

Well aint this just great!

I have been a regular player for ages at CasinoShare, I am a VIP and receive regular promotions from them.

When I log into my Casinoshare account now I see that I am eligble for around $450 in bonus money, but when I give it a closer look I see that you only get that bonus money if you have the highest wager on the new games.. LOL!

To make the farse complete I get this message when I try to claim some unconverted rewards points:

We regret to inform you that your use of promotional chips has been temporarily suspended.

So basicly my Casinoshare VIP status became worthless over night.

Anyone got a tip for a microgaming casino that will give you regular promotions if you become a regular player\vip?

Seems like I am pretty much finished with Casinoshare.

I used to be a VIP member @ Colosseum (MiniVegas group) - and regularly received 100% up to 100 match bonuses, free chips ...but then they recently decided to up the WR on their bonuses to a not-so-standard 50xB, making them quite less interesting. :(

Quite. This shows this move for what it is, a MONOPOLY in the making, providing LESS choice for players, and certainly not a "better experience".

My comps have vanished completely, although my balances have transferred, and I have retrieved the £1800 withdrawal. It never left pending, and got credited back to Casino Share. Shame they couldn't be arsed to say that pending withdrawals had been returned, rather than being forwarded for processing - I found it by chance when getting the updates installed for the transfer.

VIP to "scumbag" overnight, and 4 casinos less to choose from (the 4th is "all white labels").

Looking at my Rewards history, it seems the white labels were all transferred too, since my "Players Palace" account is showing up separately from the main three.

Something about this looks like a "rescue takeover", since it was so sudden and comp points were simply deleted. When Royal Joker went through all the changes, players were given notice well in advance to "get their affairs in order" before the changeover.

There was also a brand new promotion at Quatro, that has been killed before it even got going past the first few days - stinks of RESCUE BAILOUT, rather than planned move.

Very disappointing to lose VIP status at some decent places to being converted to a banned "scummer" at CR, because I have had the audacity to win at their group in the past.

Shocking that we had no notice to convert comps as well. Wonder how much they've saved just with that change.

For starters there is the 32Red group which have monthly bonuses at all four, but, if you`re after a bonus with every deposit, ongoing bonuses, and occasionally a random bonus given by your VIP manager then GoWild is the place to be :).

It would have been nice if Mario had given us a headsup on this, its like a total shock:(, I havent deposited in Casino Rewards Group in ages and I also was a VIP with Grand Mondial, now I am a nothing:(, I am not a happy camper about this, but we can not do anything:mad:. Another one bites the dust.

Casino Rewards..
They have a 3 BUSINESS days reverse time on a withdrawl, nice, if you withdraw on a friday it takes almost a week to get paid.

They spam you to death with offers you're not eligible for.

How they grew so big will always be one of the worlds biggest Unsolved Mysteries.

They buy the corpses of dead casinos, and try to breathe new life into them. They tend not to close casinos either, so the list just grows. Given that they offer bonuses "on one account only", they do not end up giving away more bonuses to individual players who have many CR accounts.

It is unusual for VIP standings to be deleted except when the takeover is a "rescue", rather than an acquisition.

It was actually done BEFORE the mailer went out. I played at Casino Share the day before, and it was STILL with Playshare. The next day it was with Casino Rewards.

There was DELIBERATELY no opportunity given to redeem any available comp points before the changes, and they have simply disappeared, even though balances have transferred.

This looks like CR stumped up their own money to preserve balances, and did NOT receive money from Playshare to take account of any comp points earned, but not redeemed.

It looks like Playshare had more or less gone bust, and managed to negotiate this deal quickly.

Only last week, the casinos launched new promotions for the entire month of February, which suggests this situation was very sudden.

Casinos that are simply bought out as going concerns give notice of the changes, and ensure that any promotions are brought to an orderly conclusion ahead of any takeover.

This happened with Royal Joker (over a months notice of the transfer to Jackpot Factory, and again notice when Royal Joker was closed by JF and accounts transferred to All Slots).

When MGS pulled out of the USA, Red Flush brought their long term wagering competition to an orderly early close, awarding the prizes BEFORE the transfer of US players to the "Level 11" platform.

Had there been time, I would have thought other groups would be interested in Playshare, and given that CR already has so many casinos, I would NOT have expected them to wade in if others were interested.

The main asset for CR is of course the player base, probably worth any costs associated with preserving player balances after the move.

It also saves ME money, since I have FEWER separate weekend offers to consider.

I Hate casino rewards.

They Have always treated me like crap. Never had a problem with casino share or mondial. They have always paid me with no problems. I currently have a cashout at Grand Mondial for 200.00, so i can imagine that ill need to PAB in order to get my cashout. Wait and see. If they do change to casino rewards, they will lose me as a player at both places. IMO Casino Rewards Group should be in the Rouge Pit.

CR has the most unfair practices...Bordering on Rouge

Casino Rewards Treat earned comp points as "Freebies". I also have a cashout from Grand Mondial that will(Maybe) be paid by CR. To be honest, I expect them to pull some stunt to not pay me. When I logged into my Grand Mondial account this morning and went to "Transaction History" to check if my cashout had been completed, It showed NO deposits and NO cashouts, So i tried "Live Help" but nobody answered so i clicked on the "contact us" link and when it came up it said "Email Support:support@BlackjackBallroom.com" so i thought what the heck? So i log into my casino rewards account and low and behold my Mondial and Share accounts have been added to there list. Now here is the real kicker... My CR casino list has many multiple accounts listed. This alone will be reason enough to not pay my withdrawl from Grand Mondial. If they dont pay i will PAB. I wonder why they never said a word about moving to CR, I think they may have feared losing players while they still owned the casino.

I have had 2 cashouts from mondial within a weeks period. Both had been paid right after the 48 hours holding.
