Playhippo anyone?

Just wondering if anyone plays at playhippo and what the general opinion is?

I play there, and I think they are very OK.
They have loads of games from NetEnt and MG, site is easy to navigate, and you can create your own favourites section.

Cashed out a few times and got paid within a few hours each time.
Regular reloadbonuses and freespinspromotions too.

Worth a try I'd say..

re

now if only their games would stop cutting out mid play... I can't even load any now. This is a joke

I only took a SUB at their site, won, and they paid me very fast. They also have a rep here.

I do however remb that their games very pretty slow one of the days i played, but that was some problems with the Netent servers.

I was a little suspect of this place at first since it seemed like a white label casino (which it probably is). Nevertheless, took their SUB in june, got lucky and won a nice multiple of my deposit, cashed out and was paid within 12h to skrill. Thumbs up, as far as I am concerned.

Just remembered..something that puts me off... they charge me a 3% withdrawal fee with only the first withdrawal of the month free. This 3% is not capped so i'd hate to win a jackpot! I think they do this if you start to win. So actually the more i think about them...

If memory serves me right this was an old shut down white label that left the business owing a lot of people money..
Maybe they have sold to new owners or sold the database something just rings a bell here..

Also they up until a few days ago claimed to have an AGD seal of approval which they didn't so this also makes me feel as if it is a revamped casino trying to come to life again...

I did have a chat with the PlayHippo people about this the other day, and they told me that they have no connection to the casino you are referring to (Hippo Casino).

As they told me "We decided to use a hippo in our logo since everyone likes a happy hippo".

I must also admit that I have never heard of any Hippo Casino (and neither had the affiliate manager I spoke to).

As for the AGD logo on their site.

PlayHippo is using Partner Matrix's affiliate system, so they thought that they automatically were approved by AGD (system being used by several casinos).

Just an honest mistake in my opinion and it has all been taken care of as the logo has been removed as you know.

I am very happy with PlayHippo so far.

One word of advice - this casino is an ODDSMATRIX operation, and there are several sites like Jetbull in the group. CHECK before despositing if you have either taken a SUB or excluded/closed an account at any other site in the group. This could avoid potential problems should you win and want to cash out. The group itself is known for good practices thus far, but it pays to read the terms....

some feedback from a PlayHippo rep.

Hi all,

Nice to see that people are finding our Casino and that we mostly get good reviews.

I am open to answer any questions you may have, but I have to say that the info that we have seen here pretty much sums up the reality.

We did have some slow running games in the beginning but it was a NetEnt problem that affected all operators at the time and not only us at PlayHippo. Sadly we have had a few players from Australia saying that the site is not always running smoothly, and we are looking into it, but we are getting good "pings" from Australia so should not be a problem.

We have no connection to any other brand that used to call themselves Hippo or similar - we did a lot of check up with different brands, since we wanted to create a more friendly brand compared to many that in our mind is very hard core. We are a white label that uses the system provided by EveryMatrix/Oddsmatrix but we try to do it our own way, with our own personal touch.

We do our best to pay out all cashouts within 1 h if it is to e-wallets. If it is money won through free spins without deposits, we need to verify the user.

Regarding the AGD symbol that we have seen is mentioned in their forums, it was a mistake from one of our graphics guys and we removed the missleading symbols as soon as we heard about it, and never linked to it, we hope to be able to explain ourself in that forum as well, but as it is we have not yet gotten our user account there approved so we can not make a statement.

All in all we are proud over our casino and as I stated this message, please ask here in the thread or in PM if you have any questions. :)

Cheers

Oh ok so are they related to the Hippo Bingo then you say? I will read the terms and conditions asap for AGD so they can get certified please ask someone from the team there to get in touch with
me asap :)

Thanks guys for your help, just couldn't find any info on them! Dunover I did close my jetbull acct as I didn't like playing there and unfortunately casinos don't give you an option to just "close" your account will this affect me?

Hi,

If it is closed for gaming responsibility (for life) then you would not be able to join our site either. Some say it is a bad thing, we think it is a good thing. If we know someone has closed an account for having a tendency to play to much, it wont really help if we would accept them. But I can agree there should be other ways of closing an account - cause some times you just want to close it because you dont like some features at a specific casino.

Haha nope no hippo bingo either, damn it how could we not have found that one - but we dont really see bingo as a competitor to us either, it is not our strength and not a product we would focus on.
If there will be another product added it would be a live casino. We have been approved on AGD (approved as in write in the forum) and asked to be verified or someone to go over our T&C.

Thanks Streak for the help

Cheers
Sven

Depends how you closed it - if you asked for permanent exclusion then HH would or should not accept you as a player. If I am pissed-off with a site I often use their own 'take a break' button for 3/6/12 months which 'suspends' the account but not forever excludes you. If you took a 3-month break in the manner above then that could be a site-specific action and not necessarily done for addiction reasons. In that case I would think you are OK to go, but I'll let their rep confirm or contradict that.

Just an update, the w/d seems to have been processed quite quick. No docs requested, but then again I use a credit card via the 'verified by visa' portal which makes transactions safe for both myself and the casino in a similar way to Skrill or Neteller. I can't say how quick they processed it as I made the w/d about 17 hours ago and have been asleep and at work until now, but it would seem 12 hours or less so looking good.

I'll let you know when it hits my card, but so far so good and clearly on par or exceeding the accreditation criteria.

Hi all,

We just wanted to pop in here and see that all is ok and that you are ok with our payment times and game experience.

Just let us know if you have any feedback - good as bad.

Have a great week guys and girls!
