Platin Casino another max RTP casino?

Any Casino worth their salt and who really cared about customer support wouldn’t be farming it out to Malaysia at the cost of a sack of rice per evening.

Agreed. And that message should be branded on the forehead of every casino executive in the business, IMHO. :D
(well, there would be a few exceptions to that, those folks that have already proven they've done the right thing.)

Amen to that. You are still dealing with a chosen representative of a casino.

Does not matter who it is, you are directed there by the casino for a service which is employed (paid) to do a job. Not many of them do in my experience, not just with online casinos, but they are particularly bad.

Hence why it's so hard to complain nowadays, the call centre staff don't want to register a complaint because it looks bad to their customer, which is why they will do everything to avoid registering one. Such a crap way of doing business unless its done very well by the right organisation.
There's something called Harmon's strategy matrix for deciding when to keep things in-house or outsource: basically says, anything of high strategic value, that is complex: in-house, low strategic importance: outsource: guess casino's view CS as the latter (why you see more and more payroll functions being outsourced as well)

There is an argument though that is CS is so bad it could hit your bottom line if customers don't return after a bad experience but, as we know, all caisnos need to do is send a 100% bonus offer and all is forgiven :p

Confirmed, Platin have joined the dark side and dropped RTPs on Pragmatics across the board. Another one bites the dust. Play & Go will no doubt follow shortly. I'll close my account.

That’s a shame. Well no more deposits there then. At least I never got SOWed with my low rolling.

Enjoyed it for a few days, then got the RTP notification e-mail and my account is now closed.

It's only since trying out the max RTP casinos over the past few weeks that the penny had dropped at how much more play time/fun you get in comparison to those that are chucking out 94% or below (looking at you VS!).

As predicted by some, PNG to 94 now

Pretty much give up on UK casinos operating with the top setting now - exercise in futility

Mr Q etc will follow in time.

Just stupid and greedy nonsense. As said, give it until the end of the year and it will be 94% across the board, except for the likes of BTG games.

Online slotting in the UK is finished, really. Decent RTP is never going to come back, and over-regulation by the UKGC will ensure that competition gets weaker and weaker as brands exit the market.

I've recently had a win on Platin for £2800. I still play on here for BTG due to their high stakes for Wild flower and Golden catch. As soon as I withdrew the £800 and £2000, they wanted proof that the Paypal account used to deposit is mine. This was approved, then they're now asking for consistent income and 3 recent Bank statements for source of wealth. I'm awaiting approval for this.

The reducing of RTP's on multiple providers (Microgaming, PLAYnGO, Pragmatic), asking for source of wealth upon withdrawal (Yet i've deposited multiple times with no request)... these are signs of a casino going downhill. I would avoid this one!

Just an update: I finally got my funds out of Platin... but I highly recommend to avoid. I'd been waiting for the funds for nearly a week, despite all my payment methods being 'Verified'. The hurdle being they wanted source of wealth, showing consistent income in the last 3 months. I kept stating to platin I pay myself twice a year in the form of personal dividends. I sent them bank statements for the account I use for gambling and my dividend account.

They would not accept any documents, got around 8 emails saying 'Document rejected', and came back with the robotic response saying 'Please send 3 bank statements showing consistent income'.

The only way I got around this was telling them they're putting me through stress, and will have to escalate with the Gambling commission/IBAS should this withdrawal not be cleared, and to also close my account. Platin sent the funds within a few hours of me sending this email.

I think there needs to be a thread with a warning for Platin. I've never had to send so many emails and documents for one withdrawal (I wouldn't mind, im in a net loss!). The only group that asked for source of wealth after withdrawing was Dazzletag media, but they were relatively quick in responding to queries. Another thing to point out is that they actually reversed my withdrawal back to my main balance, somewhat encouraging players to play their winnings whilst waiting for documents to get verified...

Platin have reduced RTP's across most gaming providers, except for BigTimeGaming (These are 96%'s on the absolute majority of casinos anyway). Considering how long they took to pay me my funds, I couldn't imagine what folk have to go through to get a massive win on a game like Wild Flower.

Just getting the word out for people. I don't want you to go through the many hurdles I did for the one withdrawal.
