I have been a member here for some time but am normally shy and prefer to just read what is going on instead of posting my opinion.
This week I have had a problem with a Casino that I have played at for years and is also accredited here. Because I am really upset by it I would love some feedback from players as I really don't know where I stand on this issue.

The Cashier would not accept the bonus code that I was wanting to use. I went to Chat and was advised my account had been blocked from receiving bonuses. The CSR on Chat said "it appears that you have been redeeming a lot of coupons, bonuses and comp redemptions and only depositing small amounts." She did remove the block and allowed me to use a 100% deposit bonus code.

After making several more deposits, some with and some without bonus codes, I received an email from the Casino advising "You continually availed of bonus's that we send out to reward our regular players, but you do not play unless it is bonus advantage play. I must therefore confirm that unless we see a change in your pattern of play i.e. bonus free playing, we will be denying any future bonus's that you try to redeem."

I don't understand where this is coming from. Every bonus coupon has a minimum deposit amount. Some of the bonus codes (100% match offers) are only available once a week while the 25% bonus offers state they are Unlimited.

I have been playing at this Casino for years and my method of depositing, playing etc has not changed. The only thing that has changed is I have been on a bit of a winning streak lately instead of losing like I normally do. When I pointed this out to the CSR I was advised "Since May 1st you have deposited $4929 and your net loss at the games is $2496 however because you have claimed/received $4579 in bonuses on those deposits you are not losing anything at all. You are in fact winning over $2000.
The reason for this is the level of bonuses you claim. We don't mind players claiming some bonuses to supplement their play however that is not what you do. Thus for the above reasons we expect some non bonus play too
.
"

I wonder if I would have received the email trying to bully me into depositing without using Deposit Bonus Codes if I was on a losing streak? As I previously stated, I have played at iNetBet for years and my method of depositing/playing has never been an issue until I hit a bit of a lucky patch.

Could some more knowledgeable players please advise me if this is normal practice? Do all Casinos expect players to deposit without using bonus codes if they are taking advantage of bonuses? The tone of the emails I received from the iNetBet CSR made me feel like I was trying to rip them off or something. It has really made me not want to play there again. Their tone was very accusatory and made me feel like a criminal. Feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

Be careful with Bonuses!
It is  crucial  that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of any bonus that you accept. Most of the complaints that come through our arbitration service are bonus related; it would be safe to say that there are tens of thousands of players who have never complained because they realized after the fact that they did not understand or had never read the terms. Nothing in a casino is free – so whenever you see “free” being used, there are stipulations. It is important for you to understand that.

Please check out our Bonus Section that lists the offers given by our Accredited Casinos. No deposit bonuses, welcome bonuses (AKA sign up bonuses [SUBs]), exclusive bonuses, reload bonuses, free spin bonuses...all this and more!
My advice is to PM the rep for the casino if they are accredited here.

They will probably have a more indepth look into your account.

You might ge the same response, but someone will look closer than past couple of motns if you have been a long-time player.

I know for myself, a few years back I got bonus banned after a max cashout on a birthday chip, a casino I was a long time player at. I made a few bonus free deposits, and ending up writing the rep to say "whatever did I do other than get lucky?" They looked at my history and restored bonus priveleges.

I get the bonus to deposit ratio, certain style of slot play "advantage play" can can lead to bonuses costing the casino money.

Bonuses can often tie you in, so you really may not want to take them all the time.

If you are happy with the casino overall, speed of payout and reliabilty, you might want to stick with them.

Or not, if getting twice the time to spin is your deal. Lots of casinos out there, accredited ones too.

As long as a casino doesn't without your winnings after the fact, they are free to offer a bonus or not to whoever they want.

And you are equally free to play whatever casino you feel gives the best bang for your buck.

Thanks Jasminebed

Thanks for your feedback Jasminebed. :):)

I recently tried to contact the Manager @ iNetBet but did not receive a reply or even acknowledgement that she received my email. I then tried to chat with her on Facebook but after I messaged her she logged out of her account and ignored me again. I may get a response if I reply through this Forum though.

I am starting to think my time playing with them is coming to a close anyway. I have recently complained about a few issues other than this ie payout times, differing advice being given by reps etc.

When this all happened I originally thought it may be because I had been complaining about them. I then received the email referring to the amount I had been winning recently.

Anyway, as you say Jasminebed, there are a lot of good Casinos out there. I will start searching for a good one that offers the same games. A few of the slots they offer I absolutely love. Thanks again for providing your feedback.

Although I was once a bonus hunter myself (I was also bonus banned a couple of times) I can understand the casino's position on this.
Bonuses are a "perk" and not a right for every player to claim.
If they don't want your money any more - find another casino.
Just be careful looking for RTG's as most are rogue and only a handful are totally safe.

This is something that is dependent on the policy of the casino.I have been bonus banned from two accredited casinos in the past for continually claiming deposit bonuses despite being in an overall loss position with both of them.On the other hand there are others who are happy to continue to offer bonuses even if you only deposit when one is available and regardless of whether you are winning or losing. There are enough casinos out there to ensure that you are likely to be able to deposit with a bonus, just make sure you stick to lose on the accredited list.

Try to ignore your emotional attachment to the casino having played there for years. You should walk away and play somewhere else where your bonus play is welcomed.
