Online Casino Players: How Do You Engage with Live Dealers?

Hey everyone! Didn't have much success last time asking this question, so I'm trying again! I'm exploring how players feel about live dealers in online casino games, and I'd love your input.
  1. Have you ever come back to play at a specific table because of the dealer?
  2. Have you ever wanted features beyond the chatbox, like knowing when a dealer is online or other ways to connect with them?
Any feedback is appreciated - thanks in advance!

Hey @iGamer_addict

I don't play live too often, but my answers would be no to both questions I'm afraid. In fact I often mute them as the chitter chatter is annoying! "Oooh Dave won £5" get lost. :)

Cheers!
Mark

I would hope that people don't create parasocial relationships with underpaid live casino staff who are just trying to get through their days

I mute them too, and i would prefer not to see the winners list that comes on the left. But there are many live casino game providers, and i remember one had a radio station playing with some decent music. So i just left it on while playing roulette.

Absolutely Muted.
Work 5 times a week for 5 years doing a job that involves nothing but talking, while the vast majority of the audience never caught 1 single word other than when you begun to stutter and squeal as they turned up the volume to hear you try and explain, once again, why the game has gone wrong or done something visually insane . Oof.

100% yes. I can have very very long sessions online. Anybody who watches what I say knows I like Evolution best. If you are playing BJ for even 3 hours, you will really appreciate dealers that interact and talk. Kills the boredom. It says a lot personally I now only play Evolution but actually its just the experience of a few dealers that kept me coming back.

Not necessary, what I want to play is still the main table I choose, I don't follow the dealer :) I don't make it personal, becase I know the dealer doesn't either but it's nice to greet them and they enjoy your time there too.

TIPPING! why don't they allow!

Once i showed online live casino dealers to my GF, and she said that most men don't join these tables for gambling... :what::laugh:

Never played baccarat, might start.
2nd row down had me wondering for a few secs how the hell the woman on the burgas table managed to stretch her arm all the way over to the galaxy roulette table.
The long arm of the Burqas will get you :P

It's about user experience. I'm just thinking if there is a way to keep it light and engaging without making it feel intrusive or burdensome for the dealers, and players.

That's an interesting point. Made me think that having a customization option like choosing background music or turning off certain elements (like the winners list), would improve the vibe for me too.

Yikes, that definitely sounds...rough

You can turn off the winner's list at some of the live casino providers - I can't remember which ones, though, without looking.

I am quite relieved to hear that as most of them simply turn off winners...

Hey there! Great question. Here’s my take. A good dealer can make or break the experience. I’ve returned to specific tables because the dealer was engaging, fun, or had great energy. It feels more personal and keeps me entertained, even if I’m not winning.

Personally, I usually mute live dealers, the constant chatter can be a bit distracting. I haven't found myself returning to a specific table just because of a dealer. For me, it's all about focusing on the game rather than building connections with the dealers. I understand some players might enjoy it, but it's just not my thing.
