Ongoing Diabolical Promotions

I wonder more who came up with the idea of calling a customer sexy bastard
I think Adam put that in to conceal his name in the message lol.....

No matter how I look at it the Ikibu promos just still don't make any sense. Didn't Ikibu have a rep here? I wish they would chime in as to why their promos are literally trash.

I got an email that you get 50€ chip on Santa with 20€ deposit. At first glance that sounds great right? Max bet 5€ .. Okay sure. Max win 1000€ ... Bad but some might like it. Wagering: 15x max win. Not 15x of what you win with the chip, 15x max win and max win is 1k. Why is it even put elaborately like that? Why not just say that the wagering is 15000? So let me get this straight .. 20€ deposit for a 50€ bonus on Santa, with max bet of 5€ and a wagering of 15k?! Even if that 50€ chip resulted in a 5€ win, your wagering would still be 15k.

Oh but it doesn't end there. The max win on the chip is 1k, but the max withdrawal is 10x deposit. So deposit 20€, get 50€ bonus with 15k wagering, 5€ maxbet and max w/d is 200. What? I don't even...

yeah ikibu is just like that i really have no idea why people actually play there. Their rep was here shortly but obviously didnt like us telling him their bonuses are... well, to put it gently, horrible so he disappeared without a trace :p

by the way that bonus translates into

50 bonus with 300x wagering (!??!?!) and max win of 200.

for gods sake... just when you think youve seen it all :D Worst thing is they are trying to mask it behind bunch of different bonus T&C so its not that obvious at a first glance so people mistakenly take this bonus. Not sure if they have ukgc license or not, but this should be a no go (deceptive promotions) so if they do someone should report them.

I really hope they get a hefty fine for it, because its obvious they are doing it on purpose.

they really are banking on people not reading T&C because no sane person would ever take such a bonus.

This was my go to casino this year, deposited a fortune and was very loyal...
I didn’t get as much as 1 free starburst spin for Xmas.
In disgust I went into chat, was given a few seeds...
Totally disheartened, and next year sadly ikibu won’t be seeing any of my cash.
I’ve also mentioned the bonus offerings to the vip manager, clearly falls upon deaf ears.
Lovely agents and always pay, sadly the loyalty and Bonus’s have almost fully turned me off the place, shame.

I saw the same promo in my email and while the 50 bonus for a 20 deposit initially piqued my interest it quickly turned into disgust reading the terms. This is clearly a trap for the uninitiated not understanding the rules. The general bonus rules at Ikibu are already pretty bad but this is taking it to a whole new level. I'll definitely recommend everyone I know to stay away, these guys don't deserve new players.

Yeah... their VIP scheme was awful when I was on it. A deposit match. Gee, be still my beating heart.

Shout out for Highroller again. Got email saying they were being extra generous today. Thought, wow, maybe 20 spins? It was one again. So if that’s extra generous, what’s just normal? Half a spin? Pish.

if I got that I would go on chat and ask then exactly how is it extra generous. Then close my account for them taking the piss.

They are licensed by the UK but I don't know much about UK license and it's regulations so someone else might want to make a complaint.

On that note if you go to Ikibu's site and scroll down you'll see them advertise in big letters that they are Accredited at Casinomeister. Following that link - sure enough, they are. Now I'm not 100% up to speed what it means to be accredited but does this casino really deserve to be accredited even if they're trustworthy, with clearly misleading and confusing terms like these designed to trap newbies? Not to mention on the Accredited page it says that the casino must have an active rep at CM but their listed rep, Rafelito, was last active in March 2018. Or is it okay if the rep doesn't use the forums unless when summoned .. That is to say, when someone sends them a PM? I'm sure no one is sending him any PM's since the promotions are so bad no one's playing there to begin with.

I'm sure Ikibu is fine to play at if you only play with real money, but if you only play with real money I'm almost certain there are countless other casinos that offer better rewards for loyal players than Ikibu so even then why would you play there?

It's not Rafelito who is a rep now. Don't remember the other guys name.
When it comes to Ikibu and accreditation I've asked Bryan to look in to them and their terms three times now. I gave up because he never did.
It's just so much you can do...

Winston is the online vip manager, as for a rep I also informed the boss rafieloto went ages ago, he did reply and follow it up. As far as I’m aware there is a new rep.
But clearly isn’t active.
I was really complimentary to ikibu and the staff many times, sadly I’ve had enough of it now.

There is an introduction thread for the new rep where we scared him away. He still logs in though but I guess we're not that fun to deal with when we just question them. I'll see if I find it.

That’s the one, spoke to him via pm once and was passed onto a vip manager as he couldn’t help me :-/
Sadly think they are losing there way with the terrible offers and also very poor loyalty scheme, really a shame as the staff I always dealt with where lovely and helpful.
My faith in them now is about gone however.

What was it you wanted looking into if you don't mind me asking please?. Merry Xmas btw

The facts people have already mentioned here. Their misleading promotions, and also that their rules about bonus abuse is separate from normal bonus rules. If I read rules I wouldn't look at them since I'm not out to abuse anything. They are not very straight forward either which mean we can't know what they mean anyway.
I haven't trusted them since they owned Chance Hill and was going through the BBF here, but that is me and I'm not always someone to listen too I guess :)

They always where fair with me, never a issue.
But the loyalty and promos are seriously lacking, especially today with lack of my 1 free on starburst for thousands of deposits lol.
Lesson learned for me now, off to trada, rizk, VS or casumo for the rest of my slotting career

Odd. On Ikibu's accreditation page it still lists Rafelito as their rep. Clearly out of date. Can't imagine why Bryan is ignoring at least updating the info. @Casinomeister any comments?

If this is a sign of what's to come in 2019 than the CoS at VS is a blessing. :D

I am pretty sure we will see more of these re-adjusted offers where winnings are capped at a stunningly low amount.

Energy Casino headline - Start 2019 with a bang!

Example: 100 dep + 25 bonus = 125 x 30 WR D+B = 3,750 total WR or 150x B

Should you then have one of those extra super lucky days where all stars align and had no black cat crossing your path to make it through the wagering requirement with some sort of balance, the maximum you are allowed to keep is EUR200. :machinegunner:

And Energy Casino is so gracious to let you have that BANG 4 times!!! ...Right, but thanks, no thanks!

It's even worse if you took the maximum bonus of €150 each time. That would be a maximum conversion of 1.33x Bonus or 1/3 of your initial deposit

@AgentEnergy Care to comment on your "banging" offer? Will this be the new normal?

Sign of the times harry as your no doubt well aware, i have closed down over 90% of all my accounts including self exclusion for min of 5years, not via gambling problem but to do with all the promos, sow & just shitty offers.

Unless your doing 1k a month in a casino your getting nothing these days. Everyone keeps pointing to its hard, bottom line is far far to many greedy casinos & not enough spent on retaining loyal customers. I think over next couple of years this will get worst

Well with so generous bonus you cant really blame them for having max cashout capped at 200.

afterall, 25% bonuses with 150x wagering are something that gives huuuge edge to players taking such a bonus, so naturally casinos need to make sure people dont abuse their goodwill.

I honestly suspect this bonus is so good that at least 1 out of 1500 people are going to cash out from it and once that happens Energy has to make sure that cashout isnt too big. Thats where max cashout comes to play. Thats if there were 1500 people crazy enough to take it.

/s

seriously, this stuff should be illegal. 150x wagering with max cashout limited at 1,33 - 20 times your deposit is shocking. Whats even more shocking is that gambling commissions allow it, imo. If this stuff becomes a norm they might as well replace deposit with donate icon, wouldnt make any difference tbh.

this bonus is so bad that you cant really be sure anyone is actually going to make cashout from it, and even if they do its going to be despite the bonus not thanks to it. To have max win capped on top of 150x wagering is insane really.

Energy never had good bonus offers to begin with (it was always d+b) so i usually pass even on their 100% bonuses, but this just made it so much worse and i really believe their group (energy, lvbet) together with ikibu currently has the worst bonus offers out of all reputable sites.

Lvbet is even worse in that regard, as their bonus is 35x (d+b) and they have a couple of 25% bonuses every week

If casinos are going to offer such rubbish offers, they'd be as well not doing so. If i play at an only cash casino I know what I'm getting - some of the offers of these places over the last few months have simply meant I've not deposited with them purely out of the fact their offers are shocking - so, rather than be a retention tool, it's having an adverse effect - good job casinos  If you can't offer punters something decent, don't pay lip service and offer crap instead.

Sorry - Dunder
You used to get regular 50% bonus offers there. Since the site was revamped they have gone dreadful I am sure I had one offer that required 90x wagering. I still play there as they have a good choice of games and I have never had any issues but I don’t take bonuses anymore.

For some players, the current promo at Mr Green might not be bad, but it surely is diabolical for the "normal" folks as we are. Called "Take a Mr. Green Moment" it has three parts:

- 100 spins at €1.00 on three Red Tiger Gaming slot will get you 30 seconds of free spins, up to 2.5 minutes per day, on the same games. WR = 35x FS winnings.
- Spin with minimum €2.50 on three Yggdrasil games for a random cash drop of up to €1,000
- 400 spins at €10 on three Quickspin slots will get you direct access to 1 bonus round at €5.00 bet size on Sakura Fortune, up to twice per day. Winnings are cash. That would be €8,000 in wagering per day!

Yeah right, this will have us slotting folks buzzing, especially the last offer which looks really low-to-medium roller friendly while being the only one that can actually get you something decent. And of course the one we could normally afford has WR attached, while the other two are cash offers. :(

I saw this one yesterday! What a beaut of an offer

Not totally bad but still...Highrollers: wager 2k on Book of Dead and get 50 one pound spins in same game.

Now, that’s not even attractive if they are wager free cos that game can go 20 without a win easily but they are 35x wagering.... hold me back from depositing 1k to meet the wagering of 2k.

Last week they had a better off - wager 1k in push gaming and get a wager free 3 quid bonus round on a PG slot.

betfair, as usual, never fails to dissapoint. it's like they try to go out of their way to do so. seriously got to find somewhere else to play poker than spend time there with these windup merchants.

so, i sit down, just about to play poker and figured I'd see what promos either aren't available or, if any are, which ones I'm not eligable for when i click on them or click accept lol. the usual crap in arcade, but what's this?! some promo in the casino!
"make 1 spin on age of gods, get 5-100 free spins on some other game" . with the odds of getting the higher amounts being less likely, obviously.

I'll accept that then boss!. click accept and it loads up the game.
so i get comfy, and make my spin. going on to endure 1 long intense pause before the reels wind up and the action commences. then it spins in nothing. fekin fuming, but no need to rip the house apart yet!
the popup appears, as mentioned that it would after clicking accept and making the spin, telling me how many spins I'd won! sweet, watcha got for me darlin?

it reads:
"sorrry adam, you are not eligable for this promotion"

well, they are ceartinly eligable to kiss my ...
& i also want my twenty effing pence back!

I would actually go on live chat and demand my spins or my money back cos it would piss me off so much lol. FWIW I got 25 spins, but the games to play them on were shit 9p and 10p ones so you wouldn't have won much anyway :(

weren't gonna bother but you're right, it did piss me off to not have been notified until afterwards lol. the dude in CS did confirm that i was not eligable for casino promos, compared to a few months ago where i was told there is no restrictions on my account despite many saying im not eligable the moment i clicked accept. then the guy told me he isnt eligable for casino promos either haha.
was offered for the inconvenience 4x €1 poker tokens.. so yeah if you happen to see some random guy pointing at the camera and mouthing the words "i wouldnt be here if it wasnt for you colin u legend!" on the next World poker tour, then you know, because of you, i made it.
