Omni Casino confiscated my winnings

Sorry, but i can't all say what i'm thinking about that. Because my english is really, really too bad.
That's my problem too :-(
Pls don't laugh about it.

I only can say:
  • I HAVE read the T & C's
  • I HAVE 40x playthrough the deposit + bonus (5.600,00€) - (Only the 180% bonus is 40x, other are only 25x, right?)
  • I HAVE played with max bet per spin of 5,00€ (allowed 6,00€ max bet, right)
  • I have played only slots, but i not have played ALL forms of table, card, video pokers, Roulette, Baccarat, Blackjack, Jacks or better, Pai Gow, Sic Bo, Craps, Red Dog and Casino Hold'em.
BUT i had only a few spins on progressive slots that i don't take a look that the games are "progressive", yes - That was my mistake.
A FEW spins from more than 1.000 spins ...... with malicious intent???
I don't know.

Be careful with Bonuses!
It is  crucial  that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of any bonus that you accept. Most of the complaints that come through our arbitration service are bonus related; it would be safe to say that there are tens of thousands of players who have never complained because they realized after the fact that they did not understand or had never read the terms. Nothing in a casino is free – so whenever you see “free” being used, there are stipulations. It is important for you to understand that.

Please check out our Bonus Section that lists the offers given by our Accredited Casinos. No deposit bonuses, welcome bonuses (AKA sign up bonuses [SUBs]), exclusive bonuses, reload bonuses, free spin bonuses...all this and more!

This is the problem. Despite reading the terms, the player is still left to determine what is, and what isn't, a progressive game as the prohibited ones are not named, and the only ones named are the allowed ones. This requires players to know something about casino slots, and although experienced players should be able to pick this up, new players might not realise that a particular game is progressive until they have opened it and perhaps had a few spins.

What makes a slot a progressive is not anything to do with it's reels and graphics, it's down to whether or not the top payout is a fixed amount, or varies according to how many plays have been made since it was last won.

Some Playtech casinos have even classed the Dollar Ball slots as "progressive" even when played with that feature deselected.

There is no safeguard in the software to prevent a player from loading and spinning a progressive when they shouldn't.

All these twists and turns does the industry as a whole no favours as it reinforces the old stereotype of this being an unregulated "wild west" where many operators are out to scam the players. A bad experience for a new recreational player means that not only is that player lost to the industry, it can mean that the tale of the negative experience puts off friends and family from trying it out. Many of these terms appear designed to catch out the naïve player so that the casinos have an excuse for not paying out when they win, yet often when they lose no objection is raised about their play or breaches of terms.

US politicians have ruthlessly exploited the stereotype of players being victims of scams and organised crime to justify their war on online casinos, and a few other countries have also latched onto this and opted for prohibition rather than regulation. Land casinos, particularly Vegas, also had this image of being the money making arm of "the mob", and they too suffered a bad reputation until regulation and strict policing drove much of the criminal element out.

Omni's bonus T&C are a mess. I've had an account with them for years, but mainly stopped playing because it was too difficult to find out what games can be played with bonus funds.

They allowed games term has this sentence:

[...]bets placed on any Progressive slot machine and or "activating" the Dollar Side Ball Progressive option at anytime while playing is wholly restricted.

I asked them about this in regards a specific game (Lotto Madness). They replied that even if you play this game (Lotto Madness), which has a Dollar Side Ball option and not activate it, it will be considered a breach of terms, since this would be classified as an "progressive slot" (like VWM noted). At the same time another game (A Night Out) had the same Dollar Side Ball option, but that game was allowed. I'm not sure if A Night Out is still available in their casino, but the contradiction in terms and their interpretation of the terms is enough for me to not play in their casino.

Omni is a very seasoned establishment. Sadly their T&C are not well written and really are in need of a re-write.

Agree ternur. Just look at this paragraph and try to figure out what they are saying, especially as a new or inexperienced player who hasn't got a clue what those slots are.

The title of the paragraph is totally misleading. Anyone reading it on the fly will think all what is mentioned in the paragraph is allowed.

5. Allowed Games: The bonus and your deposit amount is only to be played on slot machines, kenos, Asian games and non-progressive scratch cards offered by Omni Casino until you meet the wagering requirement in full. Please note that with the EXCEPTION of "Marvel Jackpot, MGM, Universal themed games", (Thor, Pink Panther, Punisher, Iron Man, Iron Man2 & 3, Hulk, Blade, Elektra, Fantastic 4, X-men, Daredevil, everybody’s jackpot), bets placed on any Progressive slot machine and or "activating" the Dollar Side Ball Progressive option at anytime while playing is wholly restricted.

That last part is the best: 'while playing' --> playing what? :what:

In paragraph 5 they specifically allow Asian games, in paragraph 6 they exclude them again.

6. Restricted Games: Bets placed on ALL forms of table, card, video pokers and arcade games are wholly restricted from any game play until after you meet the wagering requirements set above. This includes, but is not limited to, Roulette, Baccarat, Blackjack, Jacks or better, Pai Gow, Sic Bo, Craps, Red Dog and Casino Hold'em.

Have to say this again: One gets the feeling this is done on purpose! And that can only be setting a trap for unwary players to break the rules so they can confiscate winnings.

CasinoRoom has a bonus games tab which shows all the games you are allowed to play whilst using bonus funds . Simple and Easy .
Of course we know there are a myriad of solutions for this issue but casinos refuse to implement them because they make dirty money from catching out the unwary .
If this issue was costing them money you can guarantee they would instantly and magically implement safeguards which prevent players from ever breaking these "rules" but no they probably say something like "the software doesn't allow us to restrict players blah blah" whilst hoping someone else slips up so they can steal their money

Yes, the casino won 1:0 and have confiscate my winnings of 1.060€ ... very SAD for the Omni-Casino that they have needed :-(

I think that such casinos would to earn more, if they don't have such TRAP-RULES!!!
And i hope that some NEW players don't play at OMNI-Casino and at the "FLY-Casino" (sister-casino)... BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY there!

For me i have found some better places to playing online, with a lot of FUN, some losses too (i am honest) and BIG WINNINGS ;-)
