Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone else has ever been contacted via telephone from Omni Casino in relation to 'account issues"???

I was hesitant to give them any details requesting they email me - which they have. This is the email I received.

As I am an Australian resident, is this legitimate? Any feedback would be welcomed!

Cheers Bec

It seems legit.

Some casinos do this as part of their verification procedure, so maybe the term "account issues" was not the best way to describe this. If you call them they will tell you whether this is legit, and will then call you back to complete the process.

I agree with VWM. Sounds fair.

Not sure about Omni, but most casinos will verify accounts without needing to call players (at least this is my experience). Although it will probably happen in some cases where the casino needs to have a couple of things clarified more closely. If you have been honest about the info you entered when signing up, then this is probably nothing to worry about :)

I got this request from Bet365, they asked during a live chat if now would be a convenient time to do the telephone verification. I think it was just to make sure the phone number was correct, and they just asked me about my registration details again, address, DOB etc. People do make mistakes when entering info, so it's better to catch them sooner rather than have conflicts during a payout request.

I've had the request to call me to confirm from more than one ClubWorld property, but oddly not all of them. I've just complied.

This is all assuming you have in fact an account at Omni Casino. If you didn't sign up there, then it is strange.

Hi Bec,

Thanks for posting, also thanks to the members who have responded.

Just to clarify- Omni Casino does not make outbound calls to its members for promotional purposes.

However, there are times that account information is missing or needs to be verified by our security department.

As I cannot see your account, I do not know exactly what it is our security department wishes to confirm with you or discuss.

However, its nothing to be concerned about as the call will be coming from our security department. It will probably be just a clarification concerning your account details.

If you have any further questions or concerns Bec please don't hesitate to get in touch via live chat, e-mail: (playershelpATomnicasinoDOTcom) or private message/post here at Casinomeister. :)

Warm Regards,

Elliott.
