So I requested a withdrawal to OKpay, waited and waited, logged onto Chat. Here's what they told me

OKpay is not available for about a week through them...

Trouble ahead - I don't know, but wanted to put the word out, so members don't wait thinking they are going to get paid anytime soon.

Wow that is troubling after all the hoops it took to get verified. So you had to ask for this info as opposed to them contacting you that this method was temporarily unavailable-how long did you wait before you contacted them?

I asked about three hours after I requested, because I thought it was supposed to be "instant". Glad I did.

I think it may be a bit confusing about the "instant" transfer. Once your withdrawal is "approved" it is an immediate transfer to OKpay but your withdrawal still needs to go through the normal pending period.

Just wanted to add that so that you don't get unrealistic expectations. In this case it actually benefited you to contact them so quickly or you may not have found out about OKpay being temporarily down

I received a payment to okpay from manhattan slots on Wednesday. I also used it to fund manhattan slots yesterday.

I have had a decent size okpay wd outstanding since last week on Luckyred ( a Cwc casino).

I emailed support to inquire this morning and got this response:

Hi Doug,

Hope you are doing well.

I do apologize about the delay with your recent withdrawal with OKPAY. I would advise to change your withdrawal options to courier check or paymycard. You will need to first cancel the pending withdrawal and then request new one.


Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or queries.

So BEWARE ... Apparently CWC and okpay are no longer an option. What infuriates me is that they still have okpay as a deposit/withdraw option in their software and have made zero effort to reach out and communicate issues.

So, now I begin the process of figuring out paymycard.

Can someone tell me if my greendot visa would be an acceptable target for a paymycard withdraw?

Is there a huge amount of time needed to dance around setting this up?

I haven't used paymycard since they set up OKpay, but it used to work like a charm. They can only send your withdrawal to a card that you have previously used to deposit with. Pretty sure that they also need to have a scan of the card on file too.

Most of the time those paymycard withdrawals only took 2-5 business days to get back to the card.

If OKPay is permanently disabled I wish that Clubworld would come on here and confirm that!

Watch out sending withdrawals back to prepaids. While I realize the majority of the issues was with Netspend. I would really caution you to trend carefully when doing this option. There has been a few threads lately of people having there prepaids locked up because they demanded docementation, proof of purchase, and blah, blah.
I haven't read of many banks actually causing a fuss with a large return credit, but then again. I haven't personally tried it.

Is it OK to OKPAY yet?

Before I finish the documentation dance with the folks at OKPAY wanted to see if that option was back up or if it's even going to be an option going forward at the CWG?

Hope they get the Bank Wire back up and running soon...

I was able to withdraw to ok pay Monday and Tuesday. If I had to chose though, I would always do pay my card. $9 and money once approved in about three days.

just looking for some feedback....
okpay has many e currenency exchange partners,
so i checked out ok-change as an option to exchange from okpay to paypal,
i did this twice with no problem
now i am waiting for the third,
just wondering if any of u have used any other exchange partners with okpay, to paypal, and your results....

Just thought I'd give a heads up on what happened to me this morning at OKPay.

I received a withdrawal to OKPay from CW this morning, no problem. However, when I tried to deposit to CW with OKPay, got a message in OKPay that depositing to this type of merchant was not allowed by my country.

So, looks like OKPay might still be a viable withdrawal method but not a deposit method. Anyway, just a heads up.

I withdrew to my bank via wire, no problems so far. So guess we will wait and see.

I wish CWC would get their ducks in a row!

My last withdrawal was "pay my card", withdrawn on Tuesday, approved on a Thursday, in my bank on Saturday. I was impressed!

I have a withdrawal in "pending" status now since Monday. It is now Thursday.

I have e-mail twice asking what the hold up is, no response.

Just when I think they are doing great, they do stupid crap!

Is it a holiday in UK again? Are their cashiers off again? What is the excuse this time?

I live in the states and so for several years had not been playing online poker... I had forgotten what a drag all these payment systems are. I even dumped paypal some years ago ... I forget now what it was over... some frivolous charge, or maybe they were asking for too much information, or some complexity with an Ebay purchase or all of the above. The annoying wait for a poker site to pay ... would the check come? or would the e-deposit come? ...when? (actually pokerstars wasn't too bad with that... if Pokerstars were available here again I would probably play it). I also didn't like the general "We're god, play by our rules or f**K off" attitude that many of the big operations have.

You would *think* that someone could put together a nice operation and not have it be a user-hostile experience.
