Took the "6 months break" excluding at 32red when i had a lucky streak at some casinos and didn't want to loose, now i opened the account again and seems that the club rouge status is gone although it still shows "Club Rouge for Life in my lobby".

Asked now to close my account. I still LOVE 32Red, but honestly if they take away that "you're special" status there are many many other MG casinos that pay quicker and are reliable.

Rosie: Hi, my name is Rosie.
hoff: Hi Rosie!
hoff: I just wanted to ask if today's club rouge offer is the one i see in my lobby (50% up to 50$)
hoff: Username xxxxxxx
hoff: XXXXXXXX
Rosie: It's 50% up to $100
Rosie: Could you send me a screen shot of the offer you are seeing please?
File attachment upload has started.
The file Capture.PNG (846.05KB) was received.
hoff: I had the same thing 2 days ago... My offer was 20% and live caht told me, no it's 50!
Rosie: Okay, just one moment please
hoff: thank you
Rosie: Unfortunately I have just checked and the offer you are receiving is correct
hoff: okay why is that? Are there different club rouge offers?
Rosie: Unfortunately you are no longer a Club Rouge member
hoff: Ah ok got it
hoff: Can i ask you to close my account then permanently?
hoff: Many thanks
Rosie:
I am sorry to hear that you wish to close your account. Player satisfaction is highly important to us here at 32Red and we do not like to lose any of our loyal players.

We will of course, always carry out the wishes of our players, and in order for us to be able to take the correct course of action on the account we would appreciate you providing a reason for your decision to close your account with us.

hoff: I was "Club Rouge for Life" and i took a break for 6 months, and i'm not in Club Rouge anymore. Although offers were not always that different, it felt special to be in the club rouge, and since i'm not in there anymore, i can also play in other casinos where i get good offers and fast payouts. Thanks
Rosie: I'm sorry you feel that way
For your security could you please confirm your date of birth and post code? Thank you.

hoff: XXXXXXX
hoff: XXXXXXXX
Rosie:
Thank you for your co-operation. All account closure requests are dealt with personally by the Management Team, I will now forward your request and they will in turn review the account and will be in contact with you during the next 72 hours.

hoff: Great! Thank you and have a nice sunday!
Rosie: You too :)
hoff: Thanks :)

Happened to me end of last year although at 32RED i was "allowed' to stay Club Rouge.

But at GL, Dash and Ned i was downgraded on the same day, never had stopped depositing but it probably wasn't enough. Only kept my 32RED account active after that.

Was really disappointed as at that time i deposited about 150K / year across the group which 32RED deemed not sufficient. :o

Now Bet-AT, Videoslots and CasinoLuck/Next are getting appr. 75% of those deposits and they all treat me very well and pay very fast. In the end 32RED's loss, not mine.

I'm sorry you've lost your VIP status.

I'm not sure why you would close your account permanently though.
What happens when they review your account and decide to give back your CR status or when they start paying out instantly? They may once again become the best casino in the industry.
You've given them no chance to 'do the right thing' as your account probably can't be re-activated.

MG accounts are never closed permanently. They are only dormant and can be re-opened any time.

Yes and as they said there is a 72hours review window and management will contact me. So if they want to say something to me, i'm open... Although i'm also not a guy that wants to use the account closure as "pressure" method.... But yeah let's see.

I just don't see any reason why it could make sense to take away the club rouge "benefits" from members, in the end it's only a slightly better cashback and slightly better offers. That's it.

I play mosly Videoslots anyways these days, but thought from time to time a download MG could be fun

hey if you aint happy...walk. So good for you. Lots of casinos out there.

Same thing happened to me with one of my casinos. I took a break from gambling..went on a beautiful trip to Italy, spent time with family. I return a few months later to casino ive been with for maybe 10 years...and they want all my ID...2 utility bills..a signed piece of paper...copy of a bank statement...copy of credit cards and me holding my id taking a picture and sending it to them.

I had the manager call me on my cell phone that theyve called me on before and he said "we value as a member and can see you have played alot with us over the past decade however we still want these documents"

My response after they wouldnt budge "Really? Ok well please close my account. Ive had 3 great offers from my other casinos...who arent requesting all this crap. So if you dont mind, I must go deposit my $2000 there. Have a great day. click"

When they saw I wasnt returning about 3 weeks later I got a call from them telling me they made a mistake. I said sorry guys you waited to long. The other casino is treating me great. Ive lost $4000 there playing drunk recently so im sure they appreciate me too! lol.

Never went back. Wont ever go back. Love my new #1 casino. Buh bye

Treat me right or lose me. love ya

No matter if you just had stopped playing or self exclude for 6 months, I'm not surprise you lost that status.

I believe you would have lost it at any casino, not just 32Red.

I can understand the feeling of disappointment hoff but surely you can't have expected it to still be like before. 6 months is a long time.

Sure, i do not complain! I just wanted to share. I may also did get that Club Rouge thing wrong. I thought this is an invitation only (for life as it said) for special players who the management decides to give them a special status no matter what. I never realized that still for Club Rouge they look at the account if a player still "fits" the club.

Again, i do not complain. It is how it is.

We should all act like this. I feel some players value the impression a casino has towards them. Personnaly... I don't care... If you want to hustle me in any way.... I am done with you and I won't do buisness with you. It's the same thing for any aspect of my personal life. No action to this kind of people. It's their mistake and they realize it too late.

You're correct in that they invite not just high rollers, but that ''...for life'' have been explained as something that MG put there, and that the life status was never their idea. You could see that if you read the rules. We've had that discussion in other threads but maybe you missed them :)

I know how you feel so I do understand you. I'm still in Club Rouge and I don't know how I would react if they kicked me out. They wouldn't dare I hope:D

It still perturbs me as to why Viper casinos won't let you exclude (as opposed to the break) from their own portal, instead of making one wait up to 72 hours for CS to do it via e-mail.

It's probably the 6 month break that caused this removal from Club Rouge, but they are conducting regular reviews, with some players losing the status, whilst others will gain it. Maybe they have reached a stage where they are operating a "one in, one out" type of policy so that the Club does not get overcrowded.

It shouldn't be possible to "game the system" to get Club Rouge status as can be done for many VIP schemes (you just throw money at it). They also have some segmentation within Club Rouge so that there are different DOTD offers for each segment. I also had the 50% up to £50, but I have also seen the occasional 100% up to £200 and 50% up to £250 in the past. I believe these are from the segment above my usual level, and probably reflected a surge in my activity, such as chucking in £2500 for the £20K fortnightly when it first came out, much of it without a bonus.

I have resumed this level of activity, but also managed two substantial withdrawals, so it's still the 50% up to £50, but I did see a 100% up to £100 earlier, and not on a Friday either;)

If one got chucked out of Club Rouge just for winning, I would have been thrown out in 2009 after "that win":)

I did take this up with the UKGC last year after Steve Finn refused to answer e-mails or take telephone calls in regards to this very point, but my complaint came back in favour of 32Red stating "32Red met or exceeded the requirements of responsible gaming in accordance with their license"

A stock reply if ever I saw one.

It's not just this though, Redbet/Whitebet/Heypoker are still mis-describing a loss-limit as a 'deposit limit' when it is no such thing. I mentioned this before, it simply means you can withdraw any amount which is then added to your deposit limit, despite you setting it at say $50..

They have now actually put an explanation on their RG page about this, but it is still absolutely wrong.

I set a $50 a month limit. I win, withdraw 1200.

My deposit 'limit' is now $1250 for this month! I can spunk back the whole w/d until I am down $50 for the month. Therefore their 'deposit' limit is actually a loss limit. Which is effing ridiculous as the have another setting for the loss limit!

I think it is surreptitious and intended as a tool to reduce the effect of lucky players depositing 50 and walking off with the 1200 profit, hoping they'll play some/all back.

This FAR worse than 32red's lack of a self-set exclusion. At least with 32red you can self-set a break, and e-mail them to sort the exclusion out while the break is in place.

I wonder what the UKGC would say about blag and ineffective deposit limits? At least at 32red, if you set a 50 limit, withdraw 2k you cannot deposit any of it back.

The UKGC revamped with all it 'new' rules and regulations etc, all guns blazing, casinos 'walked' players got confused, casinos 'pulled their socks up' etc etc.

The intention, a smooth operation, black and white clarity over regulations, no 'grey' areas.

What we got, disgruntled players, SE threads galore and confusion a plenty, some casinos which carry on regardless.

What it 'says on the tin' is far from what is inside! - Have we any hardened examples where the UKGC has actually had to enforce its policies yet???

They do a lot in the real world, raiding premises for unlicensed machines and premises exceeding the number of terminals etc but not seen much happening online yet.

The problem is that this is protecting government revenue, and sod the customers. They need to start flexing their muscles when customers are getting ripped off even if the right fees are being paid and the right number of terminals is present.

We already have the blatant loophole, visible on every high street, where you end up with three "bookies" from the same operator simply so that they can have 12 FOBTs instead of 4 to serve that high street. The regulation is flawed, and needs to be changed from a "per premises" rule to a "per operator per town" type of rule. They should also have an overall limit based on FOBT per head of adult population per town to prevent the larger operators from simply spinning off subsidiary companies to skirt around a "per operator" based rule.

My account was now closed! I guess because i didn't close the account for "gamling problem" reasons, i would be able to immediately re-open it.

Yeah, it is just a click on a check box saying "dormant"..... one click to remove it and you are good to go again!!!

I had my club rouge status taken away from me last year so I decided to play elsewhere. Shame, I enjoyed a good run of fortune at 32red, that's why i believe they took away those privileges. I was pumping in close to 100k a year on average for the past 5 years since I got a massive payrise at work!!

Anyway, if that's not enough then there's other casino's that will take my money. One is right now in spades! lol

Sad day for me - lost my club rouge after being in from when it started - was not told by phone or email , just advised in a query to live chat
(would have thought Mark or my new account manager would have at least given me that courtesy !!) - looks like the new owners are having a clear out of loyal regulars - played every single day for the last ten years or so - -- but without the benefits of rouge I guess that will be it for me - no more gambling apart from slot tournaments - (will probably find they stop too now !)

Hi sscrabble,

Sorry to hear that your account has been downgraded from Club Rouge. I wasn't aware of this otherwise I would of course have let you know. The Club Rouge team manage this process, I am not involved in those decisions.

I'm surprised to hear you were not notified. Could the email have gone into spam?

Regards,
Mark

No - nothing.

I could understand it if I had abused the bonus, but I never did - any chance of reversing the decision , or getting a reason why ?

Club Rouge isn't what it was. Now it's simply a way for 32Red to manage the levels of bonuses that players get. This is very much how it was explained to me when I got downgraded. When Club Rouge began, it didn't really come with loads of perks, it was more of a status symbol than a means to getting bigger bonuses. In those days, 32Red would give out one match bonus per month at 100%. Club Rouge was £100, whereas non Club Rouge was £32, and then £50.

Now, Club Rouge acts as a "doubler" for the DOTD bonuses, where the amounts start at 2x the regular amount, but can go even higher based on play.

Today, something else happened to me. I had a message in the lobby about this "32Red Election", which is clearly based on the UK election, yet for the first time ever the link in the message led to "You are not eligible for this". I find it odd as I would have expected this particular offer to have been targeted at UK players. I don't expect to be eligible for "St Paddy's day" offers since I am not Irish, but I know casinos run promotions for this in march.

Maybe I failed to register to vote in 32Red elections, so am not on the electoral roll:D Will I get a £1000 fine for this:p

I had that, was to vote for 100% upto £100 or to get 100 free spins on a slot, with 20 spins triggered per time with every £10 deposit, so £50 deposit will get you 100. One with the most votes is the offer on Election Day....

'T&C

7. The free games awarded will be valid on Tarzan, Fruit vs Candy, Life of Riches and Lost Vegas. Free games will be awarded at the maximum paylines, 1 coin per line at 0.01 coin size.'

I wasn't sure if this was a wind up. I mean, it's a no brainer?

The free spins is the Conservative party, the 100% match for ordinary "working class" slot spinners is the Labour party:D

No fine as yet for not being on the 32Red electoral roll.

Even odder is that I am STILL getting DOTD, whereas if I had been deregistered from the 32Red electoral roll due to a "bonus ban" I would expect to see DOTD no longer being offered, and a number of players HAVE seen DOTD disappear on their accounts.

Im still Club Rouge and surprised that I am being I hardy deposit at 32Red just the odd deposits.

32Red was built from us loyal customers in the day and now there big and so is there ego, they kicked many of us in the ass. Some of us stay loyal because of who they were certainly not for what they are now.

One must ask if they just started there casino would we all run to sign up probably not,as they do not stand out from the other great casinos or offer anything exciting.

Sad to see people still loosing there club rouge but then again is Club Rouge really that great anyways?

Yes they are trustworthy and you will get paid but they certainly do not stand out from the crowd and many other MG casinos are just as good if not better.

I will still make the odd deposit now and then but I like playing at casinos were you truly get rewarded and were a casino shows there appreciation for your business like Video Slots.

You may have slipped under the radar as you don't deposit that much, so they are not actually handing over the bonuses on offer.

Today, my DOTD has vanished, but so has that annoying message for the Election offer for which I am marked not eligible for.

It's pretty obvious what has happened now, my account was totally bonus banned at the beginning of June, but it took a couple of days for the various parts of the system to catch up.

Now it's mainly the 20K fortnightly tournament that keeps me at 32Red specifically, but there is a rumour that these might not last much longer, or at least not in their current format. Bonus money can't be used to buy continues in any case, so not a massive issue for me.

It's getting farcical now, I have JUST received an email telling me I am no longer eligible for Club Rouge after a recent review, and that I am now Platinum status. The problem is - I was booted from Club Rouge LAST YEAR, and haven't been put back since!

They got my first name right though, which reduces the possibility that this is a data breach of me being sent someone else's removal from Club Rouge from the most recent review.

32Red seem to be losing the personal touch and are beginning the journey towards being the big faceless corporation to whom customers are data and cash flow, not people. They should find reverse gear and take a different path before they end up like another Ladbrokes, a casino that has completed the journey from accredited casino that cared about customers to big corporation that doesn't give a damn even about having representation on CM.

I am supposed to be platinum status too - but have not been offered any bonus money at all on Dash or 32red since I was chucked out of club rouge - dish of the day does not make an appearance at all - presumed I have been 'bonus banned'

I don't even get dish of the day anymore I'm not sure if this is site wide or just a personal bonus ban, either way its the wrong way to go about getting me to deposit more.
Plenty of instant cash out sites to pick from these days.

its not gone for me so you might be bonus banned but tbh ur not missing much lol. its mostly 10 - 20% and i dont know why would a sane person tie their whole balance to something like 10% bonus so its more of annoyance than a bonus imo. I dont think ive seen a single 100% for more than a month now.

mind you i dont play there all that often anymore because there are like 10's of good sites with bigger slots variety, bonus offers and most important, up to 96x faster cashout speed so not sure why would they expect people to play there at the first place ?

yes they were top notch outfit in the past but all my future deposits are going to be either in present time, or in the future :D and if i can get better service elsewhere (and we all can), i have no reason whatsoever to play at 32red anymore.

i really like mark too and i think he is one of top casino reps here, but for me its a choice between playing at a site with 1,500 games, instant cashouts and tourneys that dont revolve around how big your wallet is, vs MG slots only and days long cashouts... now when i put it that way its not even a choice anymore

I have noticed that there has been no more DOTD since that email.

The 20K tournament is still going though, for now at least.

It's no good pulling DOTD unless it is replaced with another kind of promo, as even if the traditional deposit bonus becomes a thing of the past, casinos will still have to compete as the games themselves are the same whatever casino offers them.

Im still in club rouge, but today they took me off the bonuses. I would think this has happened to you too vinyl, since you do not recieve the DOTD anymore. I think 32red is shooting themselves in the foot with these bonus bans and club rouge denying of many former very appreciated members. Also the bonus offers have gone downhill so much in the past year, that it almost did not make any sense in taking any of thse wonderful 10% bonuses, instead of the 100% they were still giving tons of a year ago. Also the pending period is way too large for a casino that used to flush withdrawals and pay them within 1 day. So i think as for myself im only sticking to playing the 20k freerolls from time to time, and playing somewhere else ;(.

All rather silly. Why ditch players from Club Rouge if they have the alternative to leave them there but just stop the bonuses?

There is still the 20K for now, but apart from this, they are just another MG casino, same games as the others. Other casinos have the bonuses, but not the 20K.

I see MG have revamped the Monthly Monster, back to $25,000 and spot prizes as well as a slightly higher amount for the top 20. It used to be $30K, with $1000 for each of the top 30 positions.

I was also in club rouge and got kicked out a few years back. I couldn't complain as I had won a lot of money over the years. The only thing I didn't like was when my club rouge said member for life, I thought it was a bit sly how they wriggled out of that"

I have never had a bonus since I carried on playing with smaller bonuses and a slots wr, and won a few more grand. I was then bonus banned fully. But hey that's life!

Agreed totally! There used to be something so special about 32red. It was my goto casino for years ... always with the personal touch, easy access to support and I remember how cash outs were a breeze.

These days they can not afford to become faceless considering they offer such a limited and out of date product. E.g MG games only and with what MG produces today which is for the most part total crap they only have the name left.

Played there actually the other day ... but the viper client these days crashes and then crashes again and that's on a brand new win 10 pro laptop. They are so so behind the times these days. I was glad when I bust out.

They always sending me DOTD but im not really a bonus player these days and so nothing entices me to play at 32red ... crap game selection , crap support (if you can find it on the site ) diabolic cash out times and crap promotions for many.

Stick to the mega casinos the new breed who know how to treat players and have a "proper" game selection!

32red are a dinosaur that badly need to re-invent themselves.

It must be the casino's doing something wrong with the viper clients. Platinum play works perfectly fine but then gaming club is absolutely unplayable.

Not sure but I had it on my old laptop and now got a brand new high end mofo and its still the same. I just think the coding and program is totally out dated and the interface is so Windows XP ...

When I ply my vice I want things to work perfect after all im paying through the bollocks for it so if it goes wrong ... I vote with me wallet. Viper Client uninstalled (again) dont want this outdated junk on my system.

Today gambled at Bettson ... perfect playing experience ... 100s of games from multiple providors , not one break in the game and support was 1 click away at all times. Even managed a micro cash out .. now thats a proper casino for you ;-) Along with the other greats such as Video Slots ... etc ... 32red dont even come close these days.

Yeah I have a new laptop too so its not our stuff for sure. I was actually excited to play the viper on gaming club...until I opened it up and it just kept freezing and disconnecting.

Even with a decent laptop, I notice the viper client slows down anything else im doing and really gets my fan going. So I dont really play it anymore unless I want to play the argyle open. Which i dont really know why I like that game since it sucks pretty bad lol

The viper clients work perfectly well for me , with a brand new win10 laptop. They work on 32red, and all other mg casinos. I actually still like the viper client and the games that it offers. I mean why does one need 1000 slots to pick from, i mean i dont. 3dice for example has about 10-15 slots... I think some of the microgaming slots are pretty great actually, and download is always better because you dont have to wait for the game to open.

I think it all depends on what type of laptop do you guys have. Mine cost around 1500e , and it has GTX1060 graphics card inside, so its basicly a gaming laptop. Most laptops cannot handle casino's that well because well, they use a lot of GPU, i mean some of the old games work properly and thats about it. No crashing whatsoever here on win10 , and gtx1060. And the games run smoothly too. Also laptops need to be PLUGGED in. They throttle down the GPU power when they are not plugged in meaning they work faster when power cord is plugged in (geforce).

The Viper client doesn't, it uses the CPU for all output, which may be one reason it is so buggy. If it DID harness the GPU for the games, it would probably work far better. It's also 32bit, so this creates a limitation on how much RAM a game can use, and I have spotted several that seem to have "memory leaks", and these games gradually slow down and start to stutter, then crash when they have leaked out to around 1.4Gig of RAM.

Unfortunately, non download is no better, just a different set of problems, one being far more bandwidth load than a download client.

Oh i see, i thought it uses gpu because games like jurassic park say video card minimum 512mb. But yeah you may be right. But anyhow the games run smoother if laptop is plugged in because it throttles down everything including the CPU when you are not plugged in. When the battery in my acer goes below 40% it throttles down everything even more, and even when its at 100%, it runs a little bit slower if not plugged in.
