Might be why they've added bespoke loss limits to accounts last week - might be wrong, but they quoted the UKGC for some arbitrary limit (which isn't as precise any of the guidelines IIRC)

Chances are they never told you in an email etc, and it's not on their site, so if you have your gameplay terminated, that's the reason ;)

Yeah, like INEO's fracking half the countryside and them putting a few saplings in the ground to make it all better:p

Been on live chat with Novibet this morning. After being limited to £500, even though I cashed out more than that last month, I am now told I need to provide three months bank statements in order to amend my limits.

However, the email is badly worded, the £500 limit does not bother me. So no need to amend. Instead, I am blocked from depositing until I provide the statements.

@Novibet Rep can you confirm the £500 limit is actually not relevant because my account is blocked. I believe what you are asking for is the source of wealth?

I'll leave the tumbleweed here now to roll along as the dialogue remains one-sided.....

Hi @bamberfishcake, thank you for your message- we have forwarded your feedback to the appropriate department.
In regards to the request of documentation, what we are asking is proof for your source of wealth in order to unlock the full potential of our casino. In regards to the 500GBP loss limit, it is part of our Responsible Gambling policies.

Just logged in to my Novibet account as we are at the start of a new month which presumably means my £500 loss limit has been reset.Along with everything else they appear to have drastically reduced their promotions,no sign of a 10% cashback on Provider Of The Week or the 10% cashback on Popular slots on a Saturday. There are less and less reasons to continue playing there.

Same here. Got the E Mail this morning that they need Shoe Size, D.N.A Swab, etc.
Dont know if im gonna bother with it all. So sick of sending casinos my whole life stoy and having to contact them back and forth for a week via email. :(

Im ok with a 500 pund deposit limit i will never deposit anyway near that anyway.
So if i can continue to play there with this limit and not have to send more docs.
Thats fine by me.

Thank you for the response. Your live chat agent said I am unable to deposit.

So is the £500 limit an overall limit or monthly?

To summarise, I have no interest in increasing my limit, so am I able to deposit up to £500 per month?

Excuse the tumbleweed, I did not expect an answer to be honest, sorry and thank you.

Had the same email this morning requesting 3 months bank statements etc: account now closed. I don’t need all this hassle for a £50 deposit once or twice a week alongside the clunky software and slower payout times.

Had the email this morning, and now cannot deposit, says deposit limit breached.

Also says £500 deposit and loss limit per calendar month, I'm pretty sure it's now February (Checks Calendar) and I haven't made a deposit there since 20 Jan so how can a despot limit be breached?

Such a shame (last place with 'full fat' RTP) and was my main Casino to play at, but made the decision after LVBet (Previously Casumo, Rizk and PokerStars over past 2 years) that I will not provide unredacted bank statements anymore. I receive a good wage, can prove my SoW, but will not share 3 months worth of my personal finances/spending (mainly costa coffee transactions on bank statement) with an unknown entity via email.

I had the same email and requested they phone me which they did this afternoon.

They said to me that once this request is made you cannot deposit anything further.

I asked if I was ok to continue using the site as long as I deposited less than £500 a month (which I do)

I was told no and that I now have a limit of £0 until they received three months bank statements which is not going to happen.

So the £500 thing is a bit weird. It seems like if they ask for you this then the £500 a month is ilrevelant and you cannot actually use the site at all.

Shame as I have been with Novi for years and like the casino. However there is no way I am willing to send in three months bank statements. I would understand if I was a high roller but not for the small amounts I deposit.

They are not open for the Netherlands anymore. But honestly guys do you think that novibet does this on purpose? They are basically losing money. I guess the UKGC has really fucked it up for everyone. The players and the casino's.

I remember novibet as quick payouts, quick verification and in general 0 problems. Maybe they have changed but they are a very reputable name.

Well no other UK casino has thrown this on me, yet.

Its also been communicated poorly - a £500 monthly loss limit should be just that.

But it's not, it seems once you hit this threshold you are not allowed to play.

So, it's a source of wealth request, not a £500 monthly loss limit.

It deserves a new thread to be honest, on its way when I get a min.

Its mental, disappointing for me as wasn't far from the final Loyalty wager free bonus (£200) but cannot trust sending all that information, nor should I have to. I am willing to show salary going in, money going to them in deposits on statements and monthly total incoming and outgoings. But I'm not going to have every transaction I made in everyday life interrogated anymore (have previously been willing to) by someone who probably has no accounting skills, and how can I trust they won't sell on the information.

It annoys me more the escalation of request; first Wage slip, then bank statement showing deposits to their casino, then full unredacted statements (just ask for all upfront so I can decide whether to follow through or not!). Yet I can get a mortgage or loan (which I'm obliged to make payments on each month) with less personal data provided but cannot have a deposit limit at a casino which I may or may not even use, and the money is mine and available at point of sale (deposit) without ridiculous scrutiny, probably by an unskilled party.

The system of providing PDF statements as proof is pointless anyway as I use Adobe Acrobat to redact the statements and could easily give myself a whopping bank balance if I wanted as can change every part of the PDF (would this count as fraud?) so the system of checking is flawed anyway. Might just doctor my Pay Statement and bank statements for fun and see what deposit limit I get. I'm quite content with £500, even lower but will not provide personal information anymore to justify whether I know my limits.

It's the casinos choice to do this, with pressure from ukgc, but its really done to the casino, why bother??
You don't seem to get this with uk casinos.bookies etc.
Malta casinos are fast becoming a pita to play at.
