Although Royal Plaza Casino posted this message on the forum, I have not
heard one word from them and don't expect I will. Other people on this
forum went to the Royal Plaza site and saw the 100% bonus match. I
deposited there in good faith and because it was on the reputable casino
list. This is not a reputable casino, if it was I wouldn't be here. Also, if
they plan to do something to fix it, they would have done it two days
ago. They just expect this to go away I'm sure. I urge you to remove
them from the reputable casino list, it's misleading because they are not
reputable. To promise a 100% match on their site but then after you
deposit they say it ended six months ago is ROGUE behavior.

Here's my summary on his "full explanation as to what happened"

"We have scammed alot of people with our bogus advertisement of the 100% match, but we had no idea that you knew about the Casinomeister site, so in your case we're gonna have to rectify it so we don't lose our accredited casino status."

:lolup: C'mon. Give 'em a break. This manager is in here nearly every day and things have been going smoothly for about the last six or seven years. Royal Plaza doesn't generate complaints - and if there was a screw-up, there was a screw-up - and I'm sure they'll rectify it.

Ok! Benefit of the doubt given due to the fact that their past practices have been fair, but even most department stores honor the advertised price when there is an error in the customer's favor. This should be no different. It should have been done as soon as the Casino Rep. saw this thread and verified for himself that there was in fact such an offer posted.

Firstly I would like to apologise the members of this forum for taking so long to post this reply

Fortunately I have some good news Hypergirl. After contacting the Royal Plaza Casino Manager, I have been informed that she has been awarded the match bonus she originally attempted to claim.

Once I have recieved a brief from the relevant persons at the Royal Plaza Casino, I will follow up this email with an additional post on the forum explaining the circumstances relating to hypergirl's case (this will probably posted on monday)

Lest we forget, it's busy in casinoland - and sometimes it takes a few emails or phone calls between departments to find out what the deal is/was.

I did receive the bonus about 30 minutes after my last post.
If I had not posted on the forum, would I have received the
bonus? I didn't know what else to do but come to the forum
to complain but I get the feeling I have come off looking bad,
not the casino. I will definitely give them the benefit of the
doubt this time, I understand they are busy but remember I
called twice trying to settle this before I came to the forum.
This was the first time ever that I have complained about
a casino in any forum, I find it distasteful and try only to
deposit in reputable casinos so I won't have problems.

I don't find anything in your posts you should feel bad about. CM's preference, I believe, is for posters to contact the casino rep before they post a complaint. That way, if it is an oversight or easily fixable problem, it can be resolved before the casino is tarished in a public forum.

As far as your question (If I had not posted on the forum, would I have received the bonus?) we may never know...............

Delayed but not Forgotten... an Explanation for Hypergirl

Dear All,

Firstly please allow me to apologize for taking so long to put together this post, the past week has been a busy one.

I have spoken to the relevant persons at the Royal Plaza Casino and discovered the following relating to Hypergirls complaint (which was resolved last week- see above):

The Royal Plaza webpage on which Hypergirl saw the 100% match bonus advertised was an outdated page which should not have been active online. Despite being active, there were no links to this page on the official Royal Plaza casino website itself.

When Hypergirl enquired about the 100% match bonus, the operator she spoke to searched for the 100% match bonus page on the Royal Plaza Casino website. In turn, as there were no links to it on the official casino webpage, the operator could not locate the 100% match bonus page that Hypergirl was referring to and thus did not award the bonus.

The casino has not ascertained how Hypergirl connected to the 100% match bonus page. However, to ensure that such complications do not arise again, the old Royal Plaza 100% match bonus page that Hypergirl accessed has since been taken offline.

The Royal Plaza Casino would like to formally apologize to Hypergirl for any inconvenience that the above complications caused her, and would additionally like to emphasize that such errors occur very infrequently.

Yes, there was - and still is!

Try clicking three times on 'news' and the flash menu reveals a '100% match up' bonus which now, however, directs you to cyberspace nirvana.
