No documents required

Sorry if this has been posted before, but are there known casinos that generally don't require you to send copies of proof of ID.

I ask because I simply do not have a scanner, access to a fax machine and I have online bills for most things they require such as utility bills, credit cards and bank statements.

I play at Jackpotparty, because they don't appear to require documentation and the withdrawals so far have been easy and processed fast. So no mucking about, faxing/copying documents etc.

I notice a lot of casinos mention it in their banking FAQ's so I won't consider playing at them.

Several casinos seem to make no mention of ID documents required, but I'm guessing that doesn't mean they don't definately require them at least the first time you play.

So in a nutshell I'm really saying, any recommended casinos for UK players, that aren't likely to want copies of documents, thanks.

Ladbrokes will probably not ask if it's not a large cashout and cashed out via same method as the deposit.

But you should really get some scans of your documents because in the end every casino will ask for it, sooner or later.

Most netent don't require docs if under 2 or 3k's... at least that's my experience and I am a member of all those casinos.

I think quite a lot of the UK facing big brands will allow payout and play without documents, so long as EVERYTHING else appears in order, being on electoral role, having a credit history etc all seems to help.

Firms that have let me withdraw without docs include 32 red, stan james, boylesports, labdrokes,

Hope this helps

hi boy you should closely read jackpotparty terms i have found after you hit the £2500 cashout even if this is in small withdrawals thats there threshold beofre docs are required , you will need to send in id docs ) please bare that in mind when you play here otherwise you shall get caught out )

Hiya Carlisleboy,

Different sites will have various policies when it comes to requesting documents, but one thing for sure is they ALL reserve the right to do so somewhere in their terms and conditions. I have yet to find a legitimate casino that does not have this clause anywhere.

Some sites will do a check on all depositors and if discrepancies are found documents will be requested. Some will ask for them following 'suspicious' activity. Some will do so when a large withdrawal is requested, or when a players total withdrawals exceed a certain amount. I changes from site to site and even having had earlier succesful withdrawals at a site is no guarantee you will never be asked for them.

Bottom line... If I were you I would stop playing, and contact your bank to ask for a one-off hard copy (not online printout) statement to be sent to you. Nearly all banks will do this.. some with a small fee, but it's worth it for peace of mind in withdrawals. Get your hands on a digital camera or camera phone (do you own an iPhone?) and get clear images of your id to send in. (another tip... if you dont have a passport or drivers licence, ask if a birth cert will suffice)

Once you have them, send them on to any casino you want to play at asking to be pre-approved. A few days later and voila.. you have a list of casinos you can play at with confidence, knowing your funds will get to you without delay.

Yes providing docs can be a pain in the a**... but why take the risk. Do it once and get it over with is my advice.

Best of luck,

payout

AS you say it depends on the casino, also where you play from.

most off microgamming sites alow cash out without docs

if you deposit with online .ie neteller ,i dont know iff i can say that ,but they pay 2 hrs iff you playing poker.

2 working days iff you play slots.

and most casinos have a fax no so you are able to send docs in that way

Not many casinos ask for documents before cashout, but there are a few that require them before a deposit.

I've never been asked for any at Bet365 or 3Dice. I supplied them to 32Red I believe prior to depositing since I didn't have a passport or driver's licence at that time, although I did have government issued photo ID. Don't think I ever had to supply them to Intercasino either.

I'm sure there are fairly cheap places to get docs scanned where you live if you are asked for them. If you don't have a driver's licence with photo or a passport, I'd get verified up front, especially if all your bills are online. Even though this is a reality for many people, many casinos don't seem happy with a screenshot.

Recently had to provide ID to a new casino I'm playing at, just meant a slight delay on my end until I went out to get stuff scanned.

Digital photos seem to work pretty well most places. But be aware RTG casinos have a Faxback Form which needs to be printed, filled out by hand, and then scanned and emailed or faxed to them.

Thanks again.

I do have a digital camera and a camera phone so could email documents.

I have a passport and can photograph my debit card, so just the utility bill, I guess.

My telephone bill might be best as I could reinstate paper billing as its only one every 3 month.

You don't have a smart phone?:eek2: ... I withdrew in excess of 100k from Jackpotcity and Gaming Club etc ... Documentation is a good thing to know that your money is coming to you!...Take a pic of your Licence/passport etc on your smartphone and email ... You don't need fax :)

Rather than looking for site's that don't require documents you should be prepared to provide your hard documents upon request. Some might not ask now but it's within most T & C's that they have the right to do so.

Online verification is a hard thing to do for gambling site operators, almost impossible, sure government databases can be checked with your information during registration but who's entering that information?

I don't foresee hard doc. verification being replaced by any magical way to verify online gamers anytime soon, it's the internet so be ready for the request if it comes your way.

If you have a camera on your phone, as stated, take a pic of your doc's and no scanner is needed. If you have a webcam there's free software on the net where you can take a snap shot of your doc's from your webcam.

I use Firefox to browse the Web. There are several extensions to take snapshots. Do a search at the Firefox extensions directory. I am currently using the LightShot Extension, but there are more.

My advice is in line with Jasminebed. Go with the casinos that require full verification before your initial deposit. That way, if they allow you in with what you have available, you're good to go. This also guarantees that you'll never be stuck with money in your account that they won't let you have.

Your selection is going to be thin, though. Even the lightest security that I've encountered general requires some form of documentation. Try your local print shop. They should have scanners available.
