What does No Deposit Bonus mean?

Surely it means that you dont have to deposit or similar to be able to get the bonus?

I got this offer in my mail today:

Username: ***,

Login to *** today and we will instantly add 10 free chips to your bonus account (no deposit needed)!

Good luck,

Then when i click the details:

10 Free Chips (no deposit)

Get 10 free bonus chips when you login to *** today!

To view your bonus details open the *** lobby and click on Balances > My Bonus, or go to My Account and select View My Bonus Details

I did that & all i had was 2 (50%) $5 deposit bonuses that i had to play & earn points before i could get them.
I chatted with support, but they said its supposed to be like that.

Any thoughts?

What casino is this from?

32Red poker. I received the same email as OP and wasn't happy with the false advertising either. I appreciate 32Red, especially the last free poker tournament, but it's not an excuse to pull something like that. Wrong is wrong.

$10 free no deposit required but when you read the terms you need to play with real money to unlock the bonus. Please.

Now I'm in shock:eek:

I really hope they will send out an apology to all and everyone that have recieved that offer.
I thought it was a Red Flush or Casino Rewards or something.
Really misleading.

I received it too. I suggest you contact Mark. He's used to arrange good deals for CM:s poker players when something has gone wrong. :D

Note that technically, no deposit is needed if you already have money in your account, and you manage to get loyalty points with that money. Still very misleading, though.

This is the email:

And this is how it appears in the software:

I wonder...can you earn loyalty points when playing freerolls? That's the only thing I can think of. Otherwise it's really misleading exactly as Tirilej said, something you could expect from mentioned casinos.

Hi Guys,

Many thanks for your feedback on this promotion, I think Santa may have been on the sherry and got a bit too excited when writing this email!

Feedback noted and the wording will be revised next time, as Balthazar pointed out - technically you don't need to deposit, but I agree it could be worded better.

Apologies for the confusion.

Mark

Er, dont you think it would have been better to honour the offer by granting the free chips instead of waiting next time to 'word' it better?

Agree with Chu as well - and yes, the words were misleading, not something you notice very often at 32Red!:what:

It was badly worded and they admitted it, there's no need to try to get free money out of it

It's not like anyone actually lost money because of it or anything.

Fair enough, I was just thinking in the spirit of Christmas! :D
