New York Casino: Can someone please help me by taking a screenshot?

Hello.

I'm running into some trouble with New York Casino and would like to request a little help. Basically, they changed their Terms & Conditions page (that displays the allowed games for their welcome bonus) five or six days ago, and when I call them on the phone they swear that the page hasn't changed since 2004.

The terms I signed up and completed my wagering requirement for did not disallow Blackjack Surrender, but the new changed terms do. Now they are saying that the terms have always been like this. They are lying, and I have a screenshot of the original page to prove it, but when I email it to them, they tell me that they don't get my email.

I figured out another way to prove this, though. Google keeps a cache of web pages, and the old web page which google took a snapshot of on Aug 3, 2005 shows that I am right. I now have a screenshot of this, too.

I would appreciate it if someone else could please take a similar screenshot, so that I can have some backup.

Here is the webpage in question:

Current:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
(note it disallows all forms of blackjack)

When I signed up:
Link Removed (invalid URL) (note it disallows regular blackjack and blackjack switch, but not blackjack surrender)

If a few people could please go to Google, search using:
new york casino deposit terms
or
www.newyorkcasino.com/promoterms.html

and click on the cached version then get a screenshot, I would very much appreciate it. I wanted to get some other people to back me up first before I went back to the casino with this proof, just in case they somehow get Google to change it.

The most frustrating thing is that they are acting like I am lying and trying to pull one over on them. I am very glad I took screenshots! I also have screenshots of the customer rep confirming it on livechat, and I got phone support to call them up and look at them, and agree that we saw the same thing (after denying it was there until I told them I had screenshots and could SEE IT), yet as soon as they saw it, they said that the website is what matters.

I have very detailed notes and screenshots, including times, dates, and who I talked to. I will be writing up a much longer complaint if they don't stop lying to me, but I just wanted a bit of help with the screenshots for now.

Any assistance is appreciated,

snoo

I did a Google search and got the cached terms, just like the poster said...for August 3rd. However, I cannot figure out how to get the terms in question and the date to fit in a "screenshot". If I get the date, it cuts off the required clause. If I fit in the clause, I lose the date. Okay, so I'm not that computer savvy, lol. Other option would be to copy and paste it for ya, but I figure you know how to do that? Sorry.

The way I did it was to screenshot by pressing the printscreen button, then go start | run | mspaint, then edit | paste, so that it dumps the image into the mspaint program. I then saved it as a .jpg file (saves space) and ended up with this:

Ah, I see the problem. The max image size for the forum doesn't allow it at higher resolutions. I attached my version as a zipped .GIF

GIF and JPEG files are already compressed, there is no point in zipping them, it may even increase their size slightly.

I zipped it to get around the resolution size restriction imposed on graphic files. File size wasn't an issue. Care to help with a screenshot?

Get Irfanview. You can use it to resize pictures and to convert them from one format to another to your heart's content.

Wow, thanks for the tip. That worked wonders.

Can anyone else help me out by getting a screenshot and posting it, or even just confirming that they see the same thing in Google's cache?

Thank you,

Good luck!

This group of casinos is busily screwing players left right and centre.

See the Joyland thread for more evidence of this.

I personally submitted a complaint to Playtech for the behaviour of staff at Monaco Gold (not answering emails, etc. etc.).

Those Crown Solutions casinos again:

Joyland
Monaco Gold
New York
USA
Club Dice
Carnival
