Hello.
I'm running into some trouble with New York Casino and would like to request a little help. Basically, they changed their Terms & Conditions page (that displays the allowed games for their welcome bonus) five or six days ago, and when I call them on the phone they swear that the page hasn't changed since 2004.
The terms I signed up and completed my wagering requirement for did not disallow Blackjack Surrender, but the new changed terms do. Now they are saying that the terms have always been like this. They are lying, and I have a screenshot of the original page to prove it, but when I email it to them, they tell me that they don't get my email.
I figured out another way to prove this, though. Google keeps a cache of web pages, and the old web page which google took a snapshot of on Aug 3, 2005 shows that I am right. I now have a screenshot of this, too.
I would appreciate it if someone else could please take a similar screenshot, so that I can have some backup.
Here is the webpage in question:
Current:
When I signed up:
Link Removed (invalid URL) (note it disallows regular blackjack and blackjack switch, but not blackjack surrender)
If a few people could please go to Google, search using:
new york casino deposit terms
or
www.newyorkcasino.com/promoterms.html
and click on the cached version then get a screenshot, I would very much appreciate it. I wanted to get some other people to back me up first before I went back to the casino with this proof, just in case they somehow get Google to change it.
The most frustrating thing is that they are acting like I am lying and trying to pull one over on them. I am very glad I took screenshots! I also have screenshots of the customer rep confirming it on livechat, and I got phone support to call them up and look at them, and agree that we saw the same thing (after denying it was there until I told them I had screenshots and could SEE IT), yet as soon as they saw it, they said that the website is what matters.
I have very detailed notes and screenshots, including times, dates, and who I talked to. I will be writing up a much longer complaint if they don't stop lying to me, but I just wanted a bit of help with the screenshots for now.
Any assistance is appreciated,
snoo
