Logged into betfair today to see they have changed the maimum staking limits (£2 for customers aged 18-24 and £5 for those over 25) - does not really impact me as I only use it for the exchange but has any other online casino implemented this yet?

Alas yes, this is for all UK licensed online casinos. So UK players are subjected to this. We have many threads on this, including this one - When are the online stake limits coming in? Should have been introduced in September - Casinomeister Forum

Breaking news - the UKGC has been renamed the stake.com UKGC. Lisa Nandy secretary of state for culture, media and sport explained given the UKGCs mission of driving UK punters onto unregulated, unprotected casinos it seemed a natural course of action to enter into this marketing arrangement with a non licenced casino. The UKGC is incredibly proud of the work it has accomplished in driving UK customers from safe regulated casinos into the wild west of unregulated largely crypto operators. Stake.com added we are incredibly grateful to the UKGC for the huge numbers of new customers that they have provided our business. We considered making the UKGC an affiliate but decided instead upon this sponsorship arrangement

I understand, but I don't think such restrictions from the countries' authorities will help them beat gambling involvement
