Just signed on to the site and looking forwarding to hearing and sharing ideas about creating casino trips and outings. Been doing this for a while and been pretty successful but thought I would take the concept to a new level by asking for feedback from YOU... So here's to a new beginning.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and incorporating your thoughts into some of my outings!

Welcome to CM. Most of us gamble online in the comfort of our homes, but there are sections on Land Based casinos too.

I love getting away, but I am resigned to losing in exchange for free rooms and food.

You don't say what part of the US you are in, there are members from all over here.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I am based out of the North E.east US and offer these getaways right now to the following areas NJ, NY, VT, CT, RI. NH. ME, & MA... the two big casinos Foxwoods & Mohegan are within striking distance of these locations.

Thanks for checking out the new getaway. Group #5 (that makes about 200+ people thus far) just left for home and left me some wonderful feedback...

Just out of curiosity What would it take to entice you to leave the comfort of your home and actually visit a casino? You might have that one peice of the enticement puzzle that I am overlooking

Thanks for the info

Welcome onboard HunterC. Hope it's the start of something good

And thanlks for taking the time to write... the getaway seems to be picking up some momentum... I came across a cool video on the travel channel... about security measures taken in Vegas to make sure that the games are fair

Here's the link.. it's on you tube

Before I gambled online, I took pretty frequent day trips to nearby casinos. Enticements were low cost, free or cheap food, and some free slot play.

A movie on the bus is nice and helps pass the time.

There was a tour that used to run a few times a year over to the States (before a passport was required) and you could buy bingo cards and they would play bingo for small sums on the bus. That was fun.

If the trip is over two hours, a smoke and pee break is good.

And of course, comfortable and clean bus with a bathroom. Bus drivers that made a joke or two, pointed out some interesting sites along the way and a bit of travel commentary were usually more popular than those that were just there to drive the bus.

Having parking at the pick up point is mandatory.

Lol, any gambler is anxious to well.....gamble. Keep them entertained on the bus; hire an event co-ordinator or do it yourself, but have bingo, 50/50 draws, prizes..keep everyone's spirits up. Get dinner tickets and cash kicks from the casino. Be sunny and keep spirits high.
On the way home, chuck in a movie, dim the lights, let everyone sleep.

Great thoughts

Thanks for the thoughts... you sparked a couple of great ideas... especially the games on route to the casino ... Bingo Tom and I go way back... What a character :) one of my favorites.
