Just wanted to know if anyone has played the new game released at 3dice? It's called Candy Clouds and I just love it, of course my own personal opinion. The first day it was released I managed to get the highest win per x bet 835. I was betting .15 triggered the bonus, picked 12 free spins x4 and lined up 5 Carousel Lollipop symbols.

Managed to get 4 wilds later on!

If you are a fan of Happy Valley you will like this game as they have similar features. In my opinion the graphic artists did a great job implementing some special effects like giving you the option to changing the spin animation between regular spins and candy wrappers. If you click the cloud above the reels it turns into a rain cloud and if you click on the tower or candy house, the right one at the top, a cuckoo bird comes out. Just an overall great game to play.

yep i have tried it, was never a fan of Happy Valley :) perhaps the only game at 3dice i never won anything on so dunno if this one is gona give me any chills

Even though this is basically a Happy Valley clone with the just the addition of the candy bonus, I really quite like it (whereas I don't like Happy Valley at all).

I always go for 6 spins at 8x on the bonus round, alas I'm yet to hit anything really meaty yet.

Love the way you can configure the autoplayer to do the bonus round automatically and even specify which multiplier it chooses!

It's got some big hit potential in it, a line of wilds on the 8x spins would be well over 4000x stake by the time all the paylines had added up.

That said the variance doesn't seem too crazy, playing at the minimum 15p per spin a £100 deposit pretty much guarantees some pretty decent playtime and a number of bonus rounds.

Final note though I couldn't get on with the 'candy wrapper' way of doing the spins at all, so changed that to traditional spins (on turbo mode, of course).

As it goes there is always someone else on the opposite side of the coin. I will say I love all the subtle features of any of their games including this one. It shows they took the time to put a little love in it so to speak...such as clicking the rain cloud as been mentioned in the OP.

That being said I only played one session and wasn't too happy with it as I blew through my bankroll only activating one bonus round which happened when I was already so far down it would take a nice hit to get back into a fighting position. Of course the bonus round paid out next to nothing. I'm sure if I give it more time it will likely grow on me as some other games have (stickshifter, fortune falls, etc..).

Overall nice to see them adding a game to the line up.

Tried it yesterday and I have to say I didn't like it one little bit :(
I don't know if it's the colours, the theme or the "unwrapping" spins - but it did nothing for me at all.
I did get the free-spins very early on; chose 8 at x6 and only hit 1 tiny win - that certainly didn't entice me to play on much longer.

Enzo (I know you're reading this thread ;)) - can you confirm; is this slot a direct clone of Happy Valley?

Cheers,

Hi KK,

Not a direct clone, no. It is intentionally a variation. Happy Valley has always been a very popular slot at 3Dice and Candy Clouds is an experiment - if you will - to see how a variation would be appreciated by our audience. With variation I mean that we have tried to maintain some of the signature elements (like feature frequency, feature mechanic, paytable) from Happy Valley - whilst at the same time we tried to lower the variance a bit and added an extra to the feature aimed at eliminating some of the zero features that experienced HV players are well aware off. The less spins you pick in the feature the greater the odds are on a zero feature so for that choice (6 spins at x8) - you have the best odds of finding a star and winning up to 100x betsize even before the feature starts. ( 6 at x8 you'll have almost 55% chance to find a colored star, and at eg 12 at x4 only 29% ). On the artwork side we tried to make a more 'female-friendly' slot - btw .. in the gear menu you can pick your spin animation - normal spins or candy wrapper - just in case you're no fan of the candy-wrappers :)

Cheers,

Enzo

I think most games are aimed at "female friendly". Heres a short list.

Fortune Falls ---- Pretty Butterflies

Slotronomicon ---- All the symbols that females "witch" with.

Enchanted Spins --- Dragons, Females would go out and slay dragons while the men took care of the babies.

Kyokos quest --- A female ninja that goes out and kicks ass.

Scatterville Skunks--- Cheerleader, females like cheerleaders sometimes more than men.

Stick Shifter --- Danica Patrick

Payola --- Balls

So point being is when are you going to make a slot geared to the "males"?

How do you achieve the variance difference between the two slots Enzo? The paytables are identical unless I'm missing something?

Is it the reel layout that's different?

I appreciate the candy bonus is the obvious change but other than that they look identical to me. (I know there's no win gamble feature on Candy Clouds but that's more a player choice than a variance thing I'd have thought?)

Do both slots have identical T-RTPs or is the candy bonus round a 'bonus' to the RTP as well?

Also I've done a fair wedge of spins on Candy Clouds and a lot of bonus rounds, and I've never seen the 100x bonus candy, and I almost exclusively choose the 6@8 bonus round - what are the odds of getting the 100x candy?

Lots of questions - sorry about that :D

Hi Chopley,

Is it the reel layout that's different?

Correct. The reels have been redesigned (they're still close) to take some of the hashness of.

Do both slots have identical T-RTPs or is the candy bonus round a 'bonus' to the RTP as well?

Not identical but really close (in the favor of candy clouds, but (by heart) less than half a % difference)

Also I've done a fair wedge of spins on Candy Clouds and a lot of bonus rounds, and I've never seen the 100x bonus candy, and I almost exclusively choose the 6@8 bonus round - what are the odds of getting the 100x candy?

Don't know this one by heart - obviously the odds to get 4x, 6x or 8x betsize as a kickstart to the feature are much bigger.

Cheers,

Enzo

A reasonable little 134x hit on the base game.

On the 8x multiplier in free spins this would have been a far tastier 1073x stake though....

I'd like to know what the absolute max pay on this slot is, maybe Enzo can illuminate us?

Five wilds pays £70 on the minimum 15p spin, which is 466x stake. Multiply that by eight and you're up at 3733x stake, but of course all those wilds on the screen will make a whole load of other wins as well.

I'm guessing it must be 4000x stake or better for the 'dream spin' on the 8x multiplier.

(And yes I am still playing on the same £100 deposit I made a week ago :) )
