Netent low variance feels like this.

I'm having a moment and I need to vent.

I was having a session and doing well. Decided to calm things down and pick an easy game to pass the time. My game of choice - elements by netent. I went for a modest £1 stake.

Netent is described as low to medium volatility by netent themselves.

I proceeded to do 500 spins with an RTP of 32% without triggering freespins - so a £340 loss.

Now I'm still £500 up for the session and I've done the sensible thing and cashed it out. But inside I am absolutely raging - so much so that I think I will never play netent slots again.

This post also ties in with something I was to post about the other day - that new viking slot. Tried it in freemode. Came away thinking I pity the poor soul who gets stuck into a stubborn session on that slot - balance draining no fun typical netent.

Now here's the weird thing - instead of coming away from a session happy at being 500 up - I'm just raging at 'yet again' getting stuck into a netent which leaves me feeling completely ripped off although I do feel somewhat better having typed this out.

Yep, I know the feeling of being up by a healthy amount on Netent and watching it dwindle into a less healthy amount.

Took 800 winnings to JATB one time, I thought I knew the game fairly well. Alas, at 550 or so I scarpered after what seemed like hundreds of spins at 60p. I have yet to play the game properly after that day, similar occurrences with Demolition Squad etc etc

I generally abstain from Netent these days

I’ve a lot of time for JATB as had some great wins back in the day, not much of late. Also played that Halloween jack lots to, don’t mind that, bored of btg, that said I’m worse than the banned nut nut to returning to bonanza to eat my balance away.

Netent written all over, did the same two weeks for £750 no feature rage because i should know better, reel rush was my chosen slot( it should of been a good session, again shant be returning anytime soon.

Every provider has been tightening their slots. Net Entertainment probably has been the worst. I don't know why Canadians want to play their slots or think Burgstrom can bring them back. They're still going to play poorly. Every company has destroyed my bankroll as of late. They are going to destroy the online gambling business with this garbage.

I have a deep dislike for the BTG representative who shows up here. She doesn't care about our concerns about their slots. All she does is extol the virtues of Big Time Gaming.

Had a smallish deposit there, Viking’s paid me over 300x after my third spin... ironic much lol...

Busted out on laser fruit... the full deposit and winnings without a win over 3x or a bonus....
thought I’d try something new... the goat is clearly to blame for this loss.. ;-)
Never mind, always tomorrow :)

DOA aside you will struggle to find one screenshot of a big Netent win. They simply don’t produce big hits. Unfortunately in the main they don’t have great base hits either so your always going to struggle to increase your bankroll significantly. The other thing I can’t help but notice is the games like Gonzo, Jungle spirit and a few others that did play ok are now shadows of their former selves for whatever reason.

'She' is a he mate!

Elements is one of the worst Net-Ent slots there is. You do get some decent Net-Ents. Reel Steal,Doa and Mythic Maiden all pretty nice.

Could it be that their rng is deliniated off a pooled collective rtp - and no one plays those games any more? Foiley hats ahoy!

like others have said doa aside cant get a decent hit on any other game i find it very odd glad its not just me having a moan about netent

Even with DOA someone somewhere has paid for those wildlines. The thing is I truly believe there are other things in the programs as a ‘safeguard’. Meaning that a slot will never pay a big hit unless there’s enough in the sack to do so. That’s why it will be sometime before the likes of millionaire pay big. Basically all slots are compensated in some form even if it’s the minutest detail.

maybe because they are low variance that play like extremly HV slots?

just a thought.

I think this is the thing which annoyed me the most. That and the sheer amount of three wins in a row with lowest symbols everywhere only to miss again and again. Hints of jammin jars precomp gameplay to me.

I have fallen for the netent trap many times also . Decent balance and I think "I'll just have some spins on this latest low variance crap from netent - ok its not an exciting game but should be able to get a bonus fairly easy etc" and before you know it you are well over 100x bets down with no sign of a bonus and maybe the odd 15x "big win" in all that time ... yet the game appears to have no big potential whatsoever so it makes no sense that you can get that far down so quickly and so consistently
Latest example of this was on that atrocity with the different coloured wild chests that do various things but strangely rarely all combine together . Cant be bothered to think of the name of it right now
