Netent Is Back For Canadians!

Hey, don't be hating on Starburst. It's such a mesmerizing and pretty way to fritter your deposits.
I need less that 2000 wins to complete my achievements on DOA though. I'll see if I can manage my first wildline or 5 scatters before moving on to DOA2. Maybe. Top score in the freeroll this afternoon topped 1.4K. Not bad for a $9 bankroll and 9 cent bets.

And I am beyond thrilled to have Sam at the Beach back.

I'm still a bit confused how this all came about. I'm guessing it's Doug Ford saying he wanted to open up the online casino industry to others in Ontario? Perhaps NetEnt had been holding out all this time for exclusive licensing and then when they heard that news, they gave up?

Big Time Gaming should be next, if that is the case...

i really dont much miss the money sucks like WMS and Balley, but the option would be nice.

Someone better than me would have to use a way-back machine, but IIRC the Netent issues came down to butt-hurts and maybe time healed old wounds, dunno. (might be thinking of rival here tbh)

BTG if I understand correctly, have exclusivity commitments with the govt-licensed bodies (for us) so I wont hold my breath there

Since NetEnt games were not blocked by a server (like MG/Novo etc) and blocked by the casino's themselves, I imagine this will take time for all casinos to add NetEnt as a playing option for Canadians.

@dionysus I've only been playing slots a few years, do you know why Novomatic is blocked? I wouldn't mind playing those games :)

truly not sure but if theyre provided through SG (Scientific Gaming), everything that falls under their umbrella is blocked to us; doesnt look to be though
maybe one of those that err on the side of caution with 'grey markets'

As some already know, and some don't. I do published freelance writing (Political)I'm in the midst of doing an article on Doug Ford, it's been hard not being biased, so it has been taking a while. Dougie has been pushing the "open for business", and taking it to the States for the most part. And gambling has been a big part as we all know. Without knowing if Netent has come to all of Canada, or just Ontario, there is no way of knowing. I will find out though. I'm sure there is a player on here from BC too. So in a nutshell........All of Canada, it's not Fords doing and has been in the works for a while. Just Ontario, good guess it's Dougie.

Feel like there's a new Sheriff in Town. I had $5 winnings from today's battles, so off to DOA I went. I hit a retrigger for a bonus that paid over $65 on 18 cents, and another one that paid over $60 on same bet size not long afterwards. Managed a $100 cashout at the point I hit my wager limit of $200 for the day.
cha-ching...netent end of week im guessing :D

Our govt regulated casino had a few Netent games for a couple months, Shitburst-Gonzo but they are now gone, as well as some BTG-Bonanza, Queen, Dragon, none of the newer titles but supposedly by years end they are supposed to have the full BTG library, not sure what went on with Netent but doesnt really matter now, our crappy NDP/Green coalition govt hasn't said shit other than the crackdown on B&Ms for mass money laundering, today they are going after housing stating that 5B has been laundered through real estate, 5B in this province really isn't that much when you cannot buy a house for under 1.5m, most condos in the GVRD (Greater Vancouver Regional District) start at half a mil for 300 sq ft. I am in the construction field, I was at one of my projects today, it is a condo in Coal Harbour (Stanley Park area), 3300 sq ft, top 3 floors, 28 million dollars......WTF

This is no time to go rushing headlong into the waiting arms of the company who turned their backs on us without so much as a second glance back all those years ago.

While it's true that we have all missed them, be cool.. we don't want them thinking that they can get away with that sort of cold, thoughtless
behaviour without there being some consequences..

Day 1 and we're just going to shower them with attention and our hard earned Loonies & Toonies?

Be strong.. at least pretend we have something else going on... Maybe some online shopping???

Speaking of the cold shoulder, hidden agendas and my desire to unload my $59 amazon.ca voucher on a fellow Canuk

I'm blowing off the guys who usually buy my
amazon.ca giftcards. The honeymoon is over and I'm pretty sure they're seeing other people.. lots of them.. they used to reply to me within a matter of moments.. now it takes 3-5 business days just to press send on an interac e-transfer.

It's too painful to keep the memories of our times together so nearby, I may be tempted to reach out to them again...

$50 in my ecopayz and a couple Frosted Molson's sure would help ease the tragic, tragic pain those hosers caused.

Eh?

Omg, that is so messed up! Asians coming in from China can afford it though:( I need to know for article purposes, can you get netent on VS? This way I know if it's just provincial.
