Hi,
Was just wondering if any of the readership had any issues depositing with Neteller lately? I have one particular merchant which i haven't been able to deposit at for 4 months now because of the error codes in the title and i keep getting passed between neteller and the merchant with no headway. Seems crazy to me that the lifeblood of both neteller and the merchant is in enabling successful transactions to go through and that this amount of time has passed and still no resolution.
Maybe i'm the only one (which is hard to believe!), your comments would be appreciated:)

Had similar once or twice with Skrill, although granted a couple of months back.

Not really clued up with this side of things but I did find a total router reset (off, leave off 5-10 mins, on) stopped the problem 100%

May have just dropped lucky but (touch wood) it hasn't happened since!

Thanks John, yes i tried everything on my end, router reset, laptop , desktop and mobile etc etc but just no joy. Was told on more than one occassion by neteller and the merchant that i wasn't entering secure id correctly and had to actually made a few videos of the problem to prove i wasn't at fault but i'm coming to the end of my tether now:rolleyes:

Share your frustration matey, does get you mad. More so when I was down to my last £25 in e-wallet and it goes into Cyber Space for hours so plans for the session / boredom buster ruined thru no fault of my/our own.

Only thing I can suggest if your set for some slotting is withdraw cash from Neteller with MasterCard and physically buy a Paysafe Card or similar.

Yes "cyerspace" has happened twice to me in the last month or so with neteller with funds being debited twice due to a "technical error" and lost to me for a day or two, highly frustrating and you won't get much in a way of an apology from them either (any uk bank did that it would make the Mail Online immediately).
As for paysafe cards etc i know there are other methods but Neteller is my preferred option and i just can't understand why i can't get a proper resolution, its highly frustrating for me and losing them both revenue

Have you changed your Secure ID at anytime? I had a problem with a casino where i made deposits before i changed my ID. A couple of months later i returned to the casino and always got an error when if i entered the correct ID (new one). I had to delete the neteller account in the cashier and re-enter it to solve that problem.

I guess you already tried almost everything, but maybe thats helpful. :)

Yep done that too.The merchant didn't actually have a way i could manually delete neteller and had to do it for me.Re-registered Neteller , same problem and secure id has been changed many times!!

Neteller now tell me they are convinced the issue lies with the merchant, that they are not even receiving the failed payment requests, the mind boggles!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Here is the fix from neteller - if your secure id starts with a 0 it negates the whole field and you can't deposit (at certain merchants anyway). Why oh why its taken 4 months to sort this out i don't know.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Utterly ridiculous. 0 is a number just like the others, and a field designed to accept what is essentially a 6 character numeric PIN as opposed to a regular number should not fall over because the leading zero has been input, as it MUST be when what you are entering is not a number, but a fixed length numeric string.

Neteller can take much of the blame because they are the ones issuing codes with leading zeroes, and this isn't something the customer has any control over as they are issued, not chosen in the way that credit card PIN numbers can be.

Thanks Vinyl for your input. I had to really persist with this, i was told on more than one occasion that i was entering the secure id incorrectly (having to resort to taking videos of me making the "failed" deposits) but at the end the threat of emails to CEO's of Neteller and the Merchant appears to have gotten someone to actually try and find the fault.
Why the onus should ever be on the customer to have to try and fix the suppliers problem (dozens of emails, sms, videos, skype chats etc etc) is beyond me but then many things in the world we live in today are.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I had to take a Neteller/casino matter to eCogra, and in total it all took 9 months to get to the bottom of it. I was being paid by the casino, but it was being "declined" by Neteller whilst as far as the casino was concerned I had been paid. Each kept on blaming the other for months on end.

The eventual cause was found to be lack of funds in the merchant account, so Neteller would decline the transfer. Neteller should have known this was the cause right away, because it was all happening on their side, but they told me they were not the ones declining the transaction, and that it was "impossible" for this to be happening at their end, and that the merchant was somehow declining the transaction despite having issued the payment. The casino were also at fault for not ensuring they had sufficient funds in their merchant account to cover all the payments in that batch run.

It may not necessarily be the case that Neteller were not able to see these failures, it may be that they couldn't be arsed to look hard enough at their own systems as in my case, probably due to the arrogant attitude that it can't possibly be their end at fault, so why even bother looking, just tell the player it's all the merchant's fault.

Update- the fix works perfectly and all problems solved. Even better the merchant (Paddy Power) credited my account £750 cash and thanked me for my persistence in getting to the root of the issue. Considering the fault with this didn't lie with them i thought that was highly commendable especially as they actually lost business over this period due to this farce.

I just checked Paddy power don't have a rep on casinomeister nor or they on the accredited list anymore?? Anyone know what happened???

oh just found this:https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/paddy-power-rep.75376/
