Net Deposits - what are yours

Re-reading some of the responses here, I wonder how much of the profit for the people who are up was achieved more than 2-3 years ago when slotting wasn’t as brutal as it is now? I’ve only been playing online slots for the past two years so that’s the period that my gains were made (albeit at a max RTP casino to be fair).

You've picked a bad time to be slotting, what you'll find is that the scene's shifted so far towards High- Variance games and big wins in the last couple of years with the likes of NLC, and so those fairly new to this malarkey will have a very skewed outlook on the whole thing.

This was preceded by BTG's stranglehold on the market, and the gradual conditioning of players that the big wins are there, you just have to wait for them a while longer (most are still awaiting those rockstar wonderhits)

Prior to that, things were mostly Medium- Variance or the higher end of that. Netent were dabbling in that concept of merging higher variance maths with visual fidelity, but titles like Planet of the Apes turned out to be pants!

By and large, 5-8 years ago it was almost impossible not to get ahead on slots. Then it came down to the individual's desire to chase bigger amounts or settle for eg double or triple your starting balance, it was not uncommon. One of the most brutal slots was DOA, and that's mild in comparison to today's wallet- busters. But two or three years ago? the milk had already long turned

Thanks @goatwack. It’s interesting to get an idea of how things used to be.

I always thought that all online casinos were completely dodgy with games impossible to win on. That’s until I was introduced to a UK bookies’ online casino which changed my perspective on the industry. Then I learned there were still loads of dodgy joints out there.

Incidentally, I tallied up all of my deposits and all of my withdrawals across 19 online casinos since Feb 2021 (this is when I first started recording my play). I was shocked to learn that I am £12 in profit. That’s a shedload of lockdown and wet weekend entertainment hours for free. Although I do wonder, with how brutal slots can be, whether I’d have been happier on average just to stare out of the bloody window instead…

I use to play WHG a lot 21casino dreamvegas and casimba I am up on 3 of them, and most of the big win come from 2-3 years ago.. Dream vegas I was up like 7k casimba like 6k , now they start to go down lol soon I will start losing, I never won big on Videoslot and use to play a lot... Rizk Calzon was good casino but they not in UK any longer

I started off as a sports better, and then switched to mostly slots about the time I joined CM.
Down on slots by a lot, but since going back to sports at the start of this year I'm in profit.
Make of that what you will. :D

If you have knowledge on a niche market betting will atleast be the great equalizer. I'm up 1000s on it lifetime but since about a year ago significantly lowered the stakes, due to limits and also because I would at times just squander the winnings on slots anyway which would only stress me out...

I might not have huge wins anymore but gone are the days of massive losses too.

I am up at ABC but have since self excluded and closed my account after having another (03rd time this year) EDD check because i deposited more than 5k in a month (I understand they need to do it, but drew the line at constantly having to send bank statements and pay slips so I have unfortunatley parted ways with L&L; all credit to @L&L-Jan though who has constantly helped me when i have had issues.

Up at leo vegas about 3k this year but have self excluded from there as well

Not many more places for me to play at online (had horrendous experiences with sky, 888 etc.) so just stick to live play now

I’ve been with bet365 exactly three years this month and here are my net deposits (strictly 0.20 - 0.30 betsize).

It’s been a very successful relationship since I play for fun and not to (ahem) win.

MrQ has lifetime net deposits from me of £307 (same bet sizes as above) in approximately half the time and deposit/withdrawal amounts above.

Slots make up 99.5% of my gambling activities.

I’m up over 0.5 Ethereum on one of the three crypto places I’ve recently started frequenting. The other two I am down maybe the equivalent of £1,000 if that.

Pretty satisfied overall.

Must say your a very lucky guy don't want to know what I'm down 😕 back to poker for me now slots are just dead unless you can bonus buy which we can't in the uk near enough impossible to win with many slots 500 spins without a bonus is a very common thing for me, so just the odd 200 deposit for me once a month and the rest on poker. Hope your winning streak continues!
