QT say if I have a nonn-us bank account they will send the fuds in my account there. The problem is I dont know where I can go to set one up. Can anyone help me ?

Took a read thru that link, while it was good info, none of the links worked.
Hi, Inspin! Took a reread through most of the links provided within the page and all the links (except for 1) to the many Offshore banks seem to work fine for me?
Snyder's site has been around for a long time and his info has always been pretty good.

For Everyone else I have been trying to open an account in my name for a long time in a different country, and unless you visit its going to cost you a lot of money. Most european banks require someone to introduce you to there bank, before they open you an account. It is going to cost you from 3-6k euros in fees to get one open + a minimum of at least 3000 euros minimum deposit. And this is people found online, who knows if you can trust them, they want there $$ before the account is opened. need to pay when you submit them the paperwork
I did manage to get an account in a third party, that i use for my business, but it is not in my name it is in a company name and then forwarded to my account, QT says this is no good either.
From what i make of this they want as few people as they can get to actually claim there funds back. As in this way they can say they tried.

I actually applied for a Swissquote one way back before all this was happening - in 2007, if I recall correctly. I wasn't declined, and they sent me the application and forms in order to set up an account, but I never followed through since they required stuff that is notarized and apostilles and yadda yadda, so I just let it go. And besides, other methods worked back then. In hindsight, of course, I wish I'd opened it.

Theres no way to get one from the USA unless your ready to deposit 70-100k.
Quicktender knows this, and it is the reason there doing it.
An august 15th there going to say sorry, we tried to give you your money back but you did not comply with our terms. Now the money is ours so FU.

Someone who banks with BofA called the wire department and asked them if they have a relationship with a bank that can receive wires in euros and they were told they do and they got the info to send it. It goes to the euro account and then converts to USD and then gets sent to her bank account. There will be fees charged but at least she is going to get her money. She told them she is dealing with a company that will only pay in euros and they didn't bat an eye about it. It might be worth a shot.

Worth a try. The QT email on this, posted here earlier, only said that they would reject banking info that had a US style account number, so if this Euro account uses BIC and IBAN numbers, and is in Euros, there is no way QT can tell what type of Euro account it is.
This could be far quicker to set up than an offshore account that requires notarised documentations, and extended checks on other things, as well as a €50K opening "relationship".
It does seem that QT went for a narrow solution designed to be out of reach for most customers, and ruled out many other "workaround" solutions that would still not require the money to go through the US banking system, but that would be easy enough that every customer could get their request in by 15th August.

Perhaps a silly question, but are you looking for an offshore bank just to get your money from QT? I got excited because my daughter is in England for three weeks and she could set something up for me but that still doesn't allow me to play online from the US anywhere. Any thoughts?

Hey VWM, in the US, an account number can be any arbitrary length of digits. What QT was bitching about was a US bank routing number, which is always 9 digits, and identifies the financial institution. These are used for domestic wires within the US.

U.S. bank accounts paid in Euros all of the time by casino processors
When your account is paid in Euros, it is just converted by the Bank.
If you use a charge card and are charged in euros, the bank charges a fee, but you are only charged the u.s. dollar equivelent.
It makes no difference if banks accept wire transfers in Euros. What QT is talking about is setting up an account overseas that deals in Euros and the account is located outside of the U.S.
I have read posts outside of CM advising that even when a player has set up an overseas account, QT still says they can not transfer funds from their QT account to overseas bank account.
I believe that they, QT, are not paying anyone. Perhaps Eco Card is or one of their other subsidary e-wallets; but that doesn't help u.s. players.
I doubt anyone QT owes will see their money. I also think that QT's situation is different from Netellers. Why, because of the bank accounts and the way the funds were seized. It seems to me that only the funds that were "in transit" to the targeted u.s. bank accounts, were seized, not the funds held in individual players QT accounts.
I say this because I was able to quickly redeposit money to the casinos that had recently paid me when my Wire Transfer was rejected by QT bank and they redeposited my money into my QT account.
I personally believe that when QT denied transfering funds you had in your QT acct to a casino, it wasn't because they were unable to do so.
I believe it was because they anticipated what a huge loss they were going to incurr including legal fees. They kept the money. It is probably in another unknown account of theirs, or perhaps in the account of the Corporation that actually owns them.
Just my opinion.
Think about it , if you where them, would you take the money in QT accounts if you could in order to help recoup your businesses lost revenues and in anticipation of fines and penalties by the U.S. Gov.
I would kiss the money goodbye, infact, I wouldn't even want to formally claim it.
The gig is up.

Of course they wont. This is a Hong Kong bank and they wont process any transactions related to gambling so as not to infuriate the Hong Kong Jockey club which has a monopoly on horse-racing and football gambling here.

QT will not answer my emails or support inquiries about Euro based accounts. I'm now sure QT is indeed saying "FU" and keeping our money.
