My Dad , How stupid can you get!

We have recently just got a new Oven

My dad was cooking his tea and then started throwin a fit in the kitchen ,

why is there F*ckin greece in the oven its brand new!

I went in and said 'where?'

he open the hot oven and said there and wished the greece around with his finger!! ahhhh

Im not saying correcting every spelling mistake is good form, but for clarity in your posts, it really wouldnt hurt to run a spell check now and then. As an english speaker not everyone masters the language, but it wouldnt hurt to if not have, at least appear to have a good command of the language, not only because it helps others understand your post better, but will aid you in having people take you more seriously as a forum webmaster and affiliate

I do completely understand what your saying , But i did not come to this Forum to gain approval from others.I Don't mind what people here think of me and if they take me for real or not . I no how serious i am and that's all that matters.

Just because my spelling is bad doesn't mean i am not serious. Everybody has a problem and Spelling is mine.

But homestly, to say you dont care what others think, well, one, why post here if thats the case, and two, really, how do you expect to be a good or effective affiliate if you dont care what people in your forum think, how casino managers perceive you or are willing to accept constuctive criticism? It isnt about garnering approval, so much as realizing, roght or wrong, people WILL view you as you present yourself..its not all about actions, but perception as well.
Honestly, regardless of how brilliant bryan here were at his job, if his posts contained up,and over say, 12 spelling errors, id never know because, frankly, i wouldnt give him the opportunity to speak on my behalf. You can say its wrong to judge someone on this basis but its a reality.
As for not coming here to gain approval, you DID come here seeking advice and input, and this isnt a bashing, its just constructive criticism; take it or dont

I think that what they are trying to say is that it's hard to understand sometimes, especially if the words have two different meanings.

Greece and grease for example.

I don't think anyone here is trying to make you feel bad. That's not how either of the posters that you are taking offense to are, just sayin.

I don't ever use it but isn't there a spell check on here? I think there is. Not that you HAVE to use it but I was just pointing it out.

Well, im actually an english teacher. My spelling is impeccable but my typing is attrocious. As for the random errors in my posts, firstly, im using an ipad and my meaty fingers suck for the small keys, and secondly, im not a forum webmaster nor selling my english services, and thirdly, im wayyyyyyy too lazy to bother with caps and apostrophes with a mobile device, especially for a forum.

although peeps with excellent spelling may pick up on a persons less than perfect grammar ,I'd like to point out this is first a gambling forum , i understand that archiving logs upon logs of misspelled words isn't tho what the powers to be want

but the message about spelling should be delivered with educate i need to use spell check and i know that its like a blow to the stomach when a person is called out in public about a shot fall such as grammar


my short story ,dropped out of school in the 8h grade worked 4 years as a truck driver then one day at the pub i thought this is going noware so at age twenty two i went into business [nothing to loose] bought a old bakery truck and retired from that business forty four years later i got to tell you it felt good making way more than the local politicians /and appointed officials

but i still cant spell for s#T THERES A WHOLE LOT MORE but later

bottom line here is kind words never get forgotten /and neither do condescending ones =witch tuter are we

I have to agree. My spelling is totally atrocious, yet I've always thought if you can understand what I typed - why does it matter? This is after all a social forum not a business forum where one could be had up for minor Misdemeanors like spelling all grammar, or where it could effect peoples finances or lives.

I do feel some of the comments on here are a little condescending. Just saying

I totally love when people are spelling things wrong for the simple reason that then I know I'm not the only one.
What I don't love about it is that I might can't figure out what it's suppose to say.

No completely disagree, Me and my Dad have a very good relationship , and if there is some sort of joke or something to make fun out of the other with , then we will , it would be different if it was a bad burn , but no it wasn't we were both laughing our head's off whilst i was taking the piss out of him for being so stupid.
