My girlfriend who lives with me wishes to sign up to casino sites, but will have same IP & address as me. do any casinos accept this long as name and debit card is different ?

That does not always work..the best way to force a change is to find this area in windows device manager and input and combo of 12 letters and numbers like below, switch off modem and back on and you will always get a new ip.

Best to discuss this with the casinos you are interested in. I know lots of couples that play.

Sometimes you can have an account with one and your wife with a sister and both get bonuses.

And there are lots of great casinos to play at, maybe split them up.

Be prepared for both of you to send in ID when you make the request. I wouldn't worry so much about the IP address, it's more the one per household that most casinos have. I'd use email to make the request, and save the email answer.

The soon you try to login with an IP from a different country then your registration country the account is locked.

Further, not Videoslots specific, some games like WMS are blocked in some countries. If you use VPN to circumvent that and submit a withdrawal from winnings on those slots will likely lead to voiding of the winings.

Guys, some of you are talking about circumventing the casino's Terms re one-account-per-address. WTF? Please don't advocate Terms violations!

The OP is FAR better off contacting the casino and asking permission. If granted they are good to go. If not they know where they stand.

Just because you know how to violate the Terms doesn't mean you should. And you certainly shouldn't be recommending other people do it. Geezuz!

Definitely don't use VPN, You will need to pass KYC anyway and you are just violating terms.

Clearing in advance I think many casino's will be fine. One condition on our site is that you don't use the same bonuses, but perhaps there are even casinos who don't mind that.

That's not blocking VPN though...that's just Geo blocking based on IP address source.

I've only ever encountered one casino block like that before but can't remember the name. I'm guessing those they don't block aren't being 100% compliant with their obligations.

I'd forget the IP thing and just ask the casino(s) in question for permission.

Me and the wife have an account each at numerous casinos and have played problem free for years now.

Once they see you as genuine players too (regular deposits, not always taking 100% matches etc) they are more accommodating I have found. The reps at accredited casinos on here have been more than helpful and understanding.

We are allowed to take the same bonus at one or two of the casinos we play/deposit at, others have allowed an account each but told us not to take the same bonus so communication between you guys is paramount, just in case!

I received an infraction for the above comment which was classified as promoting player fraud.

If you were one of those people who read that comment and made the huge leap to promoting player fraud then I would like to take this opportunity to state that it was never my intention to inadvertantly promote or support player fraud in anyway.

I feel somewhat disappointed at receiving an infraction for mentioning resetting a router to obtain a new IP address. Using a VPN (which I did not mention) is breaking the terms of a casino, but refreshing an IP isn't as the majority of casinos allow one account per person not per residential address. The mention of changing an IP address is to avoid unnecessary flagging on a players account - this is something that casinos I work with on a daily basis actually recommend via telephone and electronic support.

With my daily job being a Fraud Analyst, accused of promoting fraud on a public forum is somewhat disturbing. I will accept my 30 day 'timeout' and return in a month's time.

I was disappointed too, rather heavy handed, as I pointed out in PM fraud is a criminal offence in the UK under the common law Jurisdiction (JURIS-of law. DICTION-the use of words)
and last time I looked it is not a crime to change ones IP address, then to be accused of showing how to commit fraud and inciting someone to commit fraud, when fraud is a crime, was rather over the top and pretty defamatory, fuck this place.

my wife and I both use same computer. We let the casino know before we created a second account, got the okay from them and then sent both our id's that showed the same address along with dated bill in same picture. hope this helps!!! fyi we use club eorld group really great to work with!!

Unless you had some other infractions in place -- if they pile up you automatically get the boot -- there should be no "time out". All you got was an infraction, not a ban.

For what it's worth, I've been instructed at least a couple of times to reset my modem, at at least once walked through cmd prompts to refresh my IP address when I've had connection issues with casinos.

Sometimes larger apartment buildings come with cable and internet provided. Those often all share a common IP, or at least that was true a few years back.

resetting your IP is legal in most jurisdictions, the analogy you present is false, ie a better analogy is selling someone a knife, because with a knife you can cut your food. Showing someone how to break into cars is illegal in many jurisdictions, changing your ip is not as there are many reasons, one being your location is not properly shown when you track to where your IP locates you. Ie my IP could show me outside of london, i would then need to change my IP to show that im inside london and at the correct address.

I think giving a warning for showing how to change IP is heavy handed as you could and are allowed to change ISP's , which i dont think is against casino or this forums rules.

You opinion is noted. Please note that I said nothing about the legality of changing one's IP.

What I did say was that messing with your IP in order to circumvent casino security for the purposes of creating multiple accounts and thereby violate casino Terms was player fraud. And that was what this discussion was about.
