So yesterday, 8th March 17, the postie delivered an offer from Mr Green stating how they've missed me and had an 'exclusive offer' to welcome me back - a 100% match deposit up to £100 with usual x35 wagering and bet size restrictions.

I rarely take bonuses with wagering reqs anymore but lost another whack on Bonanza the day before so thought I've double my deposit to £200 and try to meet the wagering.

So, I deposited £100 around midday but the bonus was not applied to the account. contacted live chat, who after a while came back to say that no bonus existed on my account and that the supervisor had told the agent Mr Green do not send out direct mail in the post any more.

I replied with more details about the documents i received, expiration date etc. But they still weren't having it and asked me to send photographic proof. I said I would but only to prove a point, I no longer wanted the bonus and would like my withdrawal promptly processed back to Paypal. The agent said that was fine and thnk you for my cooperation.

An hour later a scanned every page of the document and emailed it along with the chat transcript to Mr Greens customer service mailbox as requested by the live chat agent. I explained the situation but also pointed them to the chat transcript. I again asked that my withdrawal be processed promptly as I only deposited to take up and offer that clearly cannot be provided by Mr Green.

Well, that was almost 24hrs ago now and not only have I not received a reply from support, my withdrawal to Paypal is still reversible.

I know it's only £100 but it's the bloody principle messing me about and not honouring my request for a prompt withdrawal. In days gone by depositing £1,000 in a day at Mr Green was not a rarity, but my last few experiences here have not been good at all - and that includes a withdrawl with £3,000 profit.

I just wanted to portray my recent experience to others. I know the £100 will eventually come back my way.

Mr Green Direct Mail Bonus - I also received a letter from them yesterday

I Also received a letter from them yesterday but was not a match bonus it was 20 free spins on Warlords, used them yesterday got quite a decent play from the free spins but sadly not enough to cash out, so if they are not direct mailing why did you receive a letter and also i did so how many others

Also received mail just with the free spins tho. No longer play there coz of charging you to deposit which seems to be slowly creeping in with quite a few places doing this now.

Oh, somethings happening.

I now have £100 bonus balance, but still a pending withdrawal of the initial deposit. Maybe I'm going to get a free bonus for the palaver

I'm sure I'll get a an email soon. Haven't contacted rep yet as things appear to be in motion.

Just to provide more back up me and the wife both got the snail mail (Warlord FS not deposit match)

Must have cost em a small fortune given the high quality paper/card and the printing costs.

That's what all these deposit fee's must be for  :p

I got it too. They must get their stationary and printing done at Harrods

I was thinkin the same of the qaulity lol. Won about a quid and looked at the card thinking can i put this to some decent use like i would with christmas cards, but no it was slightly to thick for carving into roaches so it had to go in the bin ;(

No I'm P1*SeD

So at 14:45 the withdrawal is still reversable, I have £100 bonus too and I've had no kind of email or response from Mr Green Support.

So, I contact chat and ironically end up dealing with the same, polite and helpful agent I spoke with yesterday when this all started.

Agent remembers me and states that support now have a list of people eligible for the bonus I received. After a couple minutes said agent returns with a 'yes, you're on the list and your bonus has already been added to your account'.

I explained the following:

  1. in my email to support yesterday, along with the photo graphic proof, I stated I no longer wanted the bonus and would like my withdrawal processed promptly.
  2. I can see the bonus has been applied which meant my request was ignored.
  3. my withdrawal is pending
  4. I've received no correspondence whatsoever and have had to come chasing support.

Agent responds with....

Agent (09/03/2017, 14:56:59)Sorry to hear that no one has responded as yet. However, when you make a deposit you have to wager the funds at least once before you can withdraw. This withdrawal will not be approved for you unfortunately. This is due to our security procedures and anti-money laundering policy. Sorry about that Dean.

Me (09/03/2017, 14:59:32): What? But I didn't accept the bonus so snurely have no wagering requirements. So if I deposit £100 (no bonus), wagered £1 I could not withdraw the remaining £99?

Agent (09/03/2017, 15:01:44): Your bonus cash has nothing to do with withdrawing real cash funds. Any deposit that you make needs to be wagered at least once. As you cannot deposit, then without playing, withdraw. I am very sorry for any inconvenience.

Agent (09/03/2017, 15:06:57): I am so very sorry for this. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do to change these procedures. The only option is to cancel the withdrawal and play the funds you have originally deposited and hopefully win from it. Then your bonus cash comes in to play if all real cash is lost. Sorry that I cannot give another solution to you Dean. I really am.

I've removed agents name (left my typos though) as they've been helping, been apologetic and they're only following procedure. It's nothing about the support I received form the live chat agent.

What I am pissed about is the palaver of all this. First the denial of the bonus, so I send proof, then my refusal of bonus was ignored, my balance left and nobody had the decency to contact me.

On top of all that I've learned that no matter what you deposit you have to wager it at least once before you can withdraw. Pretty sure I've never, ever heard of this before. That's like putting £100 in an FOBT in the bookies and then being told you have to spend it and hope you win now.

Livid! I'm posting this here so if I decide not to ask the rep to look into this and wager, there won't be any comeback if I win a wad.

Of course they can pay you the money anyway if you wish, but not as long as you deal with just live chat. You need to and should have contacted their rep earlier since he is in a position to help you.
If you chose to play it anyway then good luck.

Beyond shoddy behaviour.
I closed my account with this lot ages ago,
The cheek and sheer shite some of these casinos come up with and put on the players is downright immoral and criminal, it's the only industry I know that does this regularly...
And may I add with alarming regularity.

Well, I've just been dropped off from band practice a little tipsy and need a play.

So, I guess this can be marked as resolved as I gave in to the clauses.

I'd recommend you to read the T&C carefully of any respectable casino out there. Most casinos require at least an 1X wagering on all deposits regardless of whether you have a bonus or not, and the reason for this is obvious; Money laundering. If depositing 100€ and losing 1€ to withdraw 99€ meant you could launder 99€ then it would definitely be a thing - Hence why they require 1X wagering.

Not the first, and definitely not the last casino you'll see this term at. Nothing weird or unfair about it.

Also I really can't take your complaint seriously when you've posted this thread yesterday at 02:00 PM, and then post another message at 05:34PM complaining that it still hasn't been processed. You should play at Videoslots if you want instant withdrawals.

As for the needing to wager any deposit x1 one - I never knew that, fair enough I get that now, but never new that. And whilst my post on CM are very low, I am VIP at a lot of casinos.

As for the the 02:00pm (14:00GMT) and 05:34pm (17:34GMT) reference - if you read the thread, that 2pm post was approx 24hrs after I initially withdraw. I have no idea what you mean about the 05:34 post

FYI - VideoSlots is my number one place. £271 Cashback last Friday, 14th in Race IIRC, a little extra from Kenny, plus another offer in the mail today for 100% up to £400 plus 150 spins on BOTD no wagering.

Why is this so difficult???

I've been playing for almost 3 hours at £2 and £5 spins. I'm currently at £1,250.38 but still have £100 bonus active and apparently 0% wagered of 3500.

Live chat won't open, I guess as it's almost 4 in the morning, although 32red, VS, and all the big boys would be open.

This is a complete cluster fuck.

Even if I've not wagered the full amount, I swear I just did at least 500 @ £5 on Kong so there's £2500 wagered. Plus hundreds on Jekel and Hyde @ £2. Why am I still at 0%?

Am I being really naive here?

This is why I usually NEVER take wagering bonuses

Just withdraw your cash.

Mr. Green's bonuses are more like a second chance. Real money funds do not contribute to wagering, only bonus funds do.

I got caught on this on my first deposit. I have a pretty good sense of how much wagering I do after all these years of play, and I'd had a bigger balance at one point, but knew I was not close to completing wagering. Fortunately for me, support was on to explain it before I busted it all.

It's a very fair system to the player. If you win, you win, if you lose, there's essentially a free chip to try and meet wagering on.

Thanks Jas - That's some very good news to wake up to this morning and hopefully the cure to this hangover. On a school night too.
