Funny that "
Paradigm" should bring up this very topic this afternoon (my afternoon that is...
). At least in my perception, I really think it depends on the game. I usually gauge the software at hand, and I take it even further by considering what casino I'm going to. I've been told (and read) time-and-time again that all the casinos under a particular software provider ALL play-out the same way. IOW, the all use the same RNG. And that may very well be true, but my gutt feeling and personal records would indicate otherwise.
The best game to indicate the software and the casino (in my opinion) would be single-hand BJ.
Having played
MG BJ on-and off-for the better part of a year, I forgot what absolutely "PURE" BJ looked like. Needless to say, I'll not comment on
MG BJ for the time being. But... having played at "
totalbet" this week, I was stunned at how random the cards were falling. It was like, playing at the local B&M back in Winnipeg. Or like my early days of playing exclusively at
PlayTech, where I used to feel as though I was getting a fair shot, win-or-lose (back in '02-03).
I was scared-off (and scarred) by what I saw from "
Intercasino's" BJ after numerous sessions last year. Despite both casinos running on the same software (
Cryptologic), I can't tell you how impressed I've been with "
totalbet". And although I may regret this, I'm thinking of playing at "
Intercasino" again.
And for what it's worth, looking at your question again, I have a hard time lumping "fair" with "respectful". Why is that? "Fair" can be perceived as a casino that gives you great bonuses/offers, and that will always pay on time w/o any red-tape. But to me, that should also include how well the games play-out for the player.
Some of the most "respected" operations, offer EVERYTHING, but I can't buy wins from them. I do much better (always have) with the lesser-known/safe operations.
With my selection of most played games falling-in-and-out of fashion by the month, I'm sticking with BJ (for the moment). And this will be strickly based on paying attention to who's doing what, I have this MAJOR inkling that those who come out ahead at the end of the month probably play primarily at "
Cryptologic" casinos, and everything else is secondary. That's not necessarily a knock on
MG operations (because they have a high number of quality and elite operations), but that RNG has got WAY too many negative swings happening. If someone who was new to online gambling wanted my input on whether or not
MG casinos are great, I'd give it a passing grade with my endorsement, but at this point I'd do so without any enthusiasm.
As far as pretty much all "
Cryptologic" casinos go, they're all pretty much amongst the best operations around. They may have only a fraction of the casinos that the other big 3 software provider's provide, but they're probably at this point in time, the best. If I were investing in a casino, it would be
32Red, but if I were starting a casino, it wouldn't be with
MG. Kudos to "
Crypto" getting rid of that whole "
E-Cash" nonsense.
BTW, is it just me, or are there a TON of "
CANADIANS" joining-up as of late?
