So being a problem gambler I am self excluded from just about every online sports betting and casino operators. I recently found one that I wasn't - mobilebet. I have noticed on a bank statement however that the deposit was made to come on sports - one of the many online companies that I have self excluded from. They seem to be a sister company of some sort. Surely this is a breach of the 'responsible gambling ' and self exclusion policies that they promote??

But the thing is, a host of online casinos who have sister casinos in the same groups still sometimes have not made their casinos user databases available to each casino in that same group. So no alarm bells or automatic systems get triggered. So this is a red flag indeed.

So it basically means because they do not have the systems in place for cross accounts with same details etc etc then there is no alarm bells so you can still easily make an account in one of those sister casinos and deposit. But then you will 100% get stuck if you won and withdrew. Then they do the checks upon withdraw. Unless of course you sent them your ID before you deposited. Then that ID verification would result *Hopefully* of blocking the account before you even deposit!

It is an area I am sure will be getting a lot more emphasis done in the coming months/years. UKGC is starting to crack down a lot more now and tighten ships and further regulate online casinos with new rules and guidelines. And also the new GAMSTOP system is due to roll out this year as well. Which basically means that when you self exclude at a casino and that casino is enlisted to the GAMSTOP system then they pass your details onto that database. And all other casinos who also are enlisted onto it can see that info about you and basically block you even if your account was still open at those others.

A lot of work still needs to be done. A lot of casinos still operate in a wild west way, but times are changing to further protect us and the casinos from court cases and lawsuits etc etc

I'd say it's a violation of their terms and conditions - by you. If you know you have a gambling problem, then you have admitted it when signing up:

It is your responsibility to contact our Customer Support Team to ensure that all of your accounts with other websites operated by Co-Gaming Limited are closed. You shall not be permitted to open or use a new account with any other site operated by Co-Gaming Limited while being self-excluded.

An account that is closed for any reason other than responsible gaming can be re-opened by the customer at any time.

Did you notify them of the casinos you've SE'd from?

I had already sent them ID details through their 'account verification' system. It is the exact same software used for both sites. They are replica sites

But yeah I agree with Bryan. You shouldn't have even signed up then should you. I should have also said this as well. But as I said above. Not all casinos have the systems in place to detect a *problem gamblers details* and block them straight away.

I know I have a gambling problem I readily admit that. That's why I self exclude. But a exact mirror website albeit under a different alias but Same financial benefactors but the self exclusion does not co-exist?? The self exclusion is me moving to stop myself. They aren't doing the same
