MG Royal Flush bug

Most of VP players will know this bug : the RF is lit up when the cards are dealt but you have nothing with the 5 cards.
I only have seen it when playing Single line VP, never with Multi line.

Could it not be that it is caused by some background program to prevent that you get a RF?

Has someone ever seen it in Practice Play mode?

I will be glad to read your opinion.

see it many times last month on single hand Bonus VP.

Not only RF, sometimes other features too.

Well , this could be a display bug,

However, do feel sucks.

And recent few weeks did not seen any RF screen shots.

Vinylweatherman will have more info, but this is an old bug -- and used to drive me nuts. I guess MG doesn't have time to fix it.

And I don't see it in practice play, as I only play slots in free mode.

It's a known bug that I reported in their +ten multi-hand VP. It was supposedly fixed, but I guess the same thing is happening in the single hand VP.

I agree it sucks - makes you wonder if the card display is wrong and you end up holding all five cards for no reason (that's what I did).

A VERY old bug. MG cannot claim it has not been reported, but there seems a distinct lack of willingness on their part to fix these long standing issues.

Now, they reap the consequences, with claims this is indication of game rigging "gone wrong".

It seems such a silly bug in the first place, and one has to wonder why this happens, and only with the RF.

This is by no means the only MG bug, there have been many, and many that have been around for more than 3 years without ever being addressed.

Mostly, these do not affect the outcome of the games, but can lead to players feeling "ripped off" when a display bug causes them to make a bad play, such as holding misdisplayed cards, or taking another card on an incorrect Blackjack display.

The few bugs that affect the outcome in the PLAYERS favour do indeed get fixed quickly, and since the reporting chain is the same, through the casino operators, I have to conclude that MG only fix bugs that will cost money if left, and do NOT fix bugs that are either neutral, or likely to MAKE casinos money when they occur.

A prime example is the bug in EZBonus that can erroneously carry WR over when a player zeroes out. This has been reported, even to eCogra during a dispute, but the software has not been corrected to date.

In contrast, a bug that created a +EV situation in the player's favour was fixed very quickly, and very quietly, despite the fact it was only operators that complained, and quietly too.

Can we trust MG to do "the right thing" when problems crop up, or should we assume they "follow the money", and fix only those errors that reduce the potential to make profit for the casinos.

Since they release new games galore, they cannot argue they are "too busy", fixing what they have should take priority over expansion, and with the MPV tournaments, fixing something that "aint broke" in the first place should be the lowest priority of all. MPV is now most certainly "broke", and is far less popular than before, when it would be expected to have become MORE popular with time.

Thanks Vinyl,

I think it is normal that I feel "ripped off" in this case.

It happens also more frequently in a period that I cannot hit a RF.

Do the casino operators have no influence at all upon MG, or are they not interested to solve the problem?
If they only fix the problems which are in the players favour, they really are to blame.

They should remember : "Pride will have a fall"
