LOL. Yeah it's 5- 8 pm. Afterwards the stragglers end up either pubbing it elsewhere or head to the Hippodrome which is a five minute walk.

They have non-alcoholic drinks, and there is food, and Irish musicians, and then us lot. :D

Barring earthquake , zombie attack or death Im there this time. Said it for years and never made it but this time in in. Will be good to put some faces to the posts :thumbsup:

Im traveling up from York at 2pm so will be in London around 4.30pm if anyone wants to meet up at bar near the venue for a few ales before hand just PM me :)
 
Arriving tuesday at Euston 2pm and stopping at nice hotel round the corner with good tripadvisor reviews.. including a proper english breakfast!! less than £50 :D

So if anyone wants to share cab later

Hi what hotel you staying at ? Im thinking of staying over in the Capital as dont fancy the night train back north Drunk :cool:

I can't believe you're not making it all the way over from Australia, unbelievable.

Spare a thought for me, I have to get at least one train into London Bridge. Might take me at least 40 minutes! :eek::p

You be able to twitch it, Dunover would love that :) You could stream by phone or hook up a wirless IP camera
 
I don't think I'm going to make it. A week ago, there were flights @$450, they are now about $630. I did set a price drop alert, but I think I left it too late.

Two nights in a London Hotel and some airport transfers, and I could be on a beach all inclusive for a week for about the same money.

If someone does stream it, I'll join you for a drink however!
 
Anyone from Ireland going over?
I want to go and currently looking for a hotel to stay for the night! :D
My only issue is,it will be kind of a roadtrip as I have a planephobia.
So either it will be with my own car but I will probably be lost in London traffic LOL.
Ended up in London City Center last year when I missed a turn on the motorway when driving back to Holyhead from Dover.
My TomTom is to blame!

So it will be most likely the Dublin-London Eurolines coach for a lousy 25 Euro or the Ferry to Holyhead and the train to London which would be significantly more expensive.

Mine would cost $1,295 I would need at least $4000.

This country is becoming more and more expensive, time for a pay rise :D

Also remember that meeting your friends from here will keep your heart warm and that must be so much more worth than some sweaty beach :p

Sorry mate, what with your newfound dietary pledge for 2017 and all that...:D

As for the snoring, comes with sleep apnoea and reduces when you lose weight apparently.

I'm also on a new year healthier diet purge less sugar and fat and processed crap.

So for 1 week it's been tinned tuna, crispbread, toast, veg and smaller healthier meals, not to lose weight but to stop being a glutton for crap food.

And ain't it boring....:(

And you could listen to Dunover shouting "BuullShiiit" when he finds there are no Scotch Eggs with runny middles and " You Fu**ing Filthy Sl** " at the barman when he's told there is no more change left for the fruit machine.

This didn't help me last year, lots of friendly faces but if you're a little shy like me you don't get to find out everyone is.

I suggested name tags some time back but that could just get weird lol.

LOL.... the former maybe but the latter definitely not, as I'd rather immerse my gonads in boiling water than ever play a UK AWP machine. :thumbsup:

In fact if anybody made the effort to come and meet each other for what amounts to 3 hours of conviviality, and then decided to blank people and play an AWP they deserve their faces slapping.

I am always on my best behaviour at the Meistermeet, I forget my constant battle to avoid being pleasant to people and as a result few expletives leave my lips. Ask Tirilej. :p

Despite having several 'gambling buddies' one of my pet hates when we were done slotting/betting/whatever for the day and I regularly found myself "Bill no mates" stood alone in a pub/club as my mates couldn't leave the bloody things alone.

Granted a while back now but the sign of true bloody addiction :p

If I'm totally honest not looking too likely I will make it after all :(

Cut all unnecessary expenses (including deposits, yes all of em :eek:) in an attempt to get some funds together but just not happening.

Ain't gonna get the violins out but crap start to the year financially - Still time / chance appreciated but I'd rather be upfront and honest.

Would have been great to meet you too and put some faces to names :D

That's a shame Jon. Sorry to hear things are difficult at the moment. Hopefully things will pick up a bit. I think you can get some cheap rail tickets if you book in advance, Nuneaton to London on London Midland springs to mind, but obviously it depends on circumstances.

Hope there's still a chance you could make it as you say. We could have a good collective moan about how bad Raging Rhino can be!

Interviews at the CM meeting or at ICE? I read I wouldn't be allowed to bring my camera to ICE...which I will do anyway of course. Hiding a tripod is a bit more difficult.

You can get pen ones and car key ones for like £5 from ebay, the button ones are abit more, Not the best quality but they film, Not that Ive tried spying on anythink :) You can buy more expensive ones and as they say you get what you pay for
