So I could go and say im Jono777
As long as I have my Thunderstruck2 t shirt on, no one will know

For those of you going to ICE, if you happen to end up on the IGT stand, the new Golden Goddess games are mine. I was asked to update them and come up with some new ideas for a modern version so you can see the first two on the IGT stand on the Crystal Curve machines.

I'd love your feedback either on here or tomorrow at the Miester Meet or just come and say hi in person if I'm around the stand...

My name is Dave so if you see a tall guy demonstrating that game to people wearing a Dave ICE badge it's me :)

I have some other games there too but this is my big one.

It is great to know that you will be presenting your big one at ICE for all to see

Strand Palace is a few minutes walk, Travelodge Covent Garden same (best breakfasts ever there lol!) and both reasonably priced and next to tube stations.

Go to
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
and put in Leicester Square for Feb-6th
There are some "dormitories" from £24 for the budget traveller!
Hotels from £40... but up to 3 miles from the venue.
Anything really close is likely to be £200-ish, or even more.

Don't listen to McGameboy, the Travelodge brekkies are great, help yourself all-you-can-eat a 2000 calorie cholesterol burst to start the day off and you won't feel hungry for about 12 hours afterwards (unless you are KK ). I start with 6 rashers of bacon, 4 sausages, mushrooms and a heap of scrambled egg, and get stared at by the neighbouring tables where the women/girls are acting posh and healthy with their 8 and-a-half bran flakes, squirt of orange juice and quarter of an apple. "Yeah, what you looking at you scrawny wench? Need to get out of that coffin and see some daylight that doesn't come from a mobile phone screen, you've got more veins showing than a large Stilton." :p

To get to ICE from central, hop on nearest tube and head for Bank where you need to get the Beckton/Stratford DLR train and change at West Ferry before disembarking at Excel. To be allowed into ICE you need to get on their website and download a barcode sheet to present on the day you go for your badge. And NO filming in ICE, it's against the rules...:D

all is required nice bed clean & good breaky for less than 90 quid )
Strand Continental? Yellow mattresses mate, more like the 'Strand Incontinental'.

Goddamit they're dropping like flies. Wish people had more consideration for the sacrifice I'm having to make to attend.

£8 travel and twenty minutes by train, not to mention the five minute walk :eek:

OK Mr. D, maybe you've had the good fortune to stay in the ONLY Travelodge that actually DOES provide a good brekkie. I've stayed in several and not one of them has even been average, let alone great. Thankfully, I never paid for a single one of them (all paid for by the company I work for).

Maybe my standards are higher than yours because I was brought up on Ulster Fries, not Full Englishes :p

Loved it last year but just had a personal tragedy with my mum passing away two days ago so cannot be there.Have a good time everyone and if you go on to a casino afterwards, keep Kasino King well away from the blackjack tables.
Condolences for your loss :( Lost my mum about 6 months ago too (though felt like we lost her many years earlier thanks to dementia)

But what do you mean about the Blackjack?
That's how I normally pay for my few days on London!
(Though not successful last year - it's true)

Does the Europa still do the buffet breakfast? That was the best bit when my girlfriend used to come over and visit me when I lived home-getting the words buffet and breakfast all in one sentence ;)

When I lived in England I was shocked to see such things as hash browns in a breaky! :-p

He had a dreadful time last year, unusually!

What is happening at 8pm, is everyone going their own separate ways or heading to a gambling establishment somewhere, or simply consuming more alcohol?

I am in a darts match over in Aldgate area which starts at 6.30pm until around 9pm, but wouldn't mind seeing if anything was going on afterwards.

Condolences KK on your loss and it was dementia that also claimed my mum.She was in a care home for the last 16 months of her life and during that time i came to realise that dementia is one of,if not the, cruellest diseases of all.
