Was playing MegaFortune this morning and this popup flashed (just as I was about to lose all my deposit hah!)

Notice it says the mega jackpot was won? But the amount is only £2.6million UK which is a lot less than it should be?

Apologies If I am incorrect, ive not played this game much!

Well, it seems like the mystery with the amount is solved.

But the rest of the mystery? Did someone hit it and wasn't eligible

That is kind of strange, I thought it might be the Hall of Gods jackpot but that has not been won. The message says "Jackpot Mega" so it might not be referring directly to the Mega Fortune jackpot. Seems like an error in the system.

I cannot see where you are playing but I have had this pop up a few times at Nordicbet, I very rarely play this slot and its happened a few times but I just ignored it (didn't take notice of the amounts) as I thought it was just notice like those you see on Mega Moolah even if the $10 is won.

I am guessing it was just a small error in the system. This message will often pop up when any of the three jackpots have been hit.

I see on the screenshot that the smallest jackpot (Rapid) just has been hit when you got this message, so my guess it is that it is related to that one.

Maybe it should have been £263.366683 instead or something.

For example. If you check out Nordicbet's latest winners right now, then you will see that a player just won €420.163182 (Rapid jackpot). which is the way these jackpots are being reported.

No. If the licence is within EU, online gambling is tax-free for Finns.

I looked at Betsson's site and I can not see that they are claiming that the Mega Fortune jackpot was won by one of their own players. It is a pooled jackpot, so I do not think it is strange that all involved casinos are mentioning that the big jackpot has been hit.


As for Paf. No, they are not related to Betsson as mentioned. Paf was founded in 1966 and has for a very long time been a reputable operator (sea and land). They started to operate online in 1999 and paf.com is probably one of the most reliable casinos online in my opinion. Paf was founded by charities and all profit are distributed to good causes.
