Just read that Maya Angelou passed away today at the age of 86.
For me personally anytime she was scheduled to speak at any public function where it would be televised I would always try to watch it and just listen to her powerful words. She was a remarkable woman and a true treasure.
She always insisted she still had much to learn but she was capable of teaching something to anyone who listened to her speak. I would urge anyone not familiar with her story to read up on her life a bit and of her life experiences.
RIP to a true legend of a disappearing art.
