After the recent update, I find that both the Trident Lounge and King Neptune casinos keep launching pop-up after pop-up - this is IN THE VIPER LOBBY:mad:

It's NOT COOL, it's ANNOYING - and this is the only MG casino I know that hijacks the Microgaming "message of the day" facility to host explorer pop-ups.
I also get yet another pop-up after exiting the viper casino, and what is realy dumb is that it is TOTALLY UNNECCESSARY, as it informs me of the welcome bonus available for the casino I have just exited (therefore I already have an account).

In order to stop this, I have to place restrictions on the Trident websites, rather than allowing them normal or "trusted" status.
MG casinos crash and misbehave enough without this, I don't need yet another route that might inject a desktop crash into an MG casino lobby.

I don't think this will get you any new players except for fraudsters who might be reminded they meant to open a few more accounts for the bonus:D
It could also drive away current players, especially if explorer crashes when trying to execute a pop-up from an environment where it is only running as a plug-in. (Happens all the bloody time when I try to launch IE from a link in an E-mail).

Here is what happens, and I even caught the inevitable lobby crash. It seems the MG lobby will crash if you attempt to change the view from the game lobby to the homepage view after having closed the pop-up generated by the message of the day, and the message of the day itself. The crash is preceeded by a churning of the hard drive while the casino freezes totally.

I have sent a PM with further details.
These are all on the latest Windows XP and IE7 kit, not my elderly Windows 98 PC. I do not expect these failures on 1400 worth of kit;)

It is possible that it is partly a Microgaming issue, perhaps to do with the way it uses Internet Explorer as a plug-in to display the interactive casino homepage, and messages of the day.
