Great move Rizk. I applaud you for that. No bullshit indeed.
On a side note. How is this feature affecting the subscore of "Reverse time" in the casino rating system?
Reverse Time
The reverse time is the amount of time that your funds are available to be reversed from pending withdrawal to playable. In other words it's how long you have until you cannot play your winnings back. The shorter time the better. This is how it works:
0 hrs - highest
1 - 12 hours - high
13 - 24 hours - medium
25 - 48 hours - low
+48 hours - lowest
So if a withdrawal request is processed in 2 hours it will be available for a reversal for 2 hours still, but it's obviously not as bad as a casino that doesn't offer the "locking withdrawals" facility. If a player directly locks his withdrawal it effectively has not reverse time. IMHO the locking withdrawals facility is good enough to lower the reverse time to 0 for Rizk. Your thoughts?
I have a very quick question for Captain Rizk - Once you click 'Lock' does that mean it is locked until the money hits the players account? I see there is a 'cancel' button next to 'Lock', just wondering what that does.
I concur with other posters that this move is very smart by Rizk and other casinos NEED to follow your lead, as the whole Reverse withdrawal option is something that infuriates a lot of players.
I would guess that 'Cancel' in this case means reverse, IE cancel the withdrawal. I think I read that once you click 'Lock' then all 'buttons' will disappear and it will simply show 'Awaiting Approval'
I thought that might be the case, as otherwise it would be a little bit pointless having the lock.
I know the buck stops with the player but this tool *would* have saved me a couple of grand at least. They were last seen scattered to the four winds
This feature is going to save players a lot of money and stress, and can even have life-changing repercussions for those unable to normally control their gambling urges.
Most commendable is how Rizk have taken it upon themselves to introduce this when they could have just sat back and waited for others to act first. Or even not at all. We musn't forget that they're likely to take a sizeable financial hit based on this gesture and I think it's a very selfless act on their behalf.
11/10
Tell me about it, lost over 20K in pending withdrawals last year at numbercolor .... and this year when i started using TAB they conveniently removed it.
Responsible Gaming means to me to allow the player to be in control of his gaming, be it the amounts deposited, the point to stop and withdraw etc. Rizk is now the one and only online casino that gives the player full control from the beginning (depo, loss limits) to the end of his session (lock withdrawal), no questions asked, no forms to fill out, no emails to be sent, no CS to be spoken to...just plain control of his account. Period!
And that is what i expect from a modern casino.

Credit where credit is due, but that is not quite right. Every casino without a pending period is at least equally good in that regard. Betat or Royalpanda for example. In fact these are even slightly better, because you don't even have to "lock" your withdrawal because it's instantly flushed.
I thought Cap'n's slept in Hammocks
