Yep, they've joined the ranks of the Playtech crew. Sorry to see them go. I personally think that MGS's games are much better than Playtech's - but that's just me.

Sad to see Ladbrokes microgaming slots disappear after so many years , i dont like playtech , so thats the end of ladbrokes for me! - i guess the best microgaming casino left is 32red , hope they don't do the same as ladbrokes and change to playtech!

Jeeeeze! You sent shivers down my spine with that suggestion! :eek:

Yep - 32Red will be getting most of my MG deposits now. (Which were quite some considerable amounts in the case of Ladbrokes).

I wont forget how great Ladbrokes were over the years though - here are some of my highlights:
In the mid 2000's their welcome bonus had a WR of Bonus x8 :thumbsup:

In 2008 their daily "scratchcard" promo gave me LOADS of great wins! In particular I noted that in April 2008 the qualifying slot for the scratchcards was Tomb Raider 2 - over the whole month I made £200+ just from playing the slot + another £1,170 in scratchcard winnings with VERY low WR!

Then in January 2009 I hit my biggest win ever (at the time) on the Osbournes: A £4 trigger for free-spins returned £1,452

That was surpassed in January 2011 when playing Ladies Nite I got 5 scatters on a £2.25 bet for £1,167 and just 53 spin later hit 5 scatters AGAIN on a £4.50 bet for £2,361. Over 3 grand won in less than 15 minutes! :cool:

Goodbye Ladbrokes - I will always remember you as one of my "special" casinos. Thanks for the fun and entertainment!

Cant believe how much I miss this casino already.....I too loved the scratch card promo and for the last 18 months they give me 75 free chips every week with 1 x WR ..why did they not consult their players over this change!!

They actually said it was at the request of players. Which I honestly find hard to believe
 
Considering how much they have pushed this new launch you would think they would have it nailed down but it's been one of the most unprofessional changeovers and actually woeful website launches I've seen for a large organisation as I can remember.

The emails they sent out are riddled with spelling mistakes, in the subject and the body copy.
Links to promotions are wrong and redirect to a different page
Their bonus "buy" doesn't work
Links in emails don't direct to the correct page they should do
There are graphical errors all over the place on the homepage and tabbed links

Why are they keeping the Vegas tab up there as well when it is exactly the same as the Casino tab!

A very, very poor "launch" and I fail to see why all the UK bookies are clamouring to go and join Playtech and all have the same software.

so I deposit £20 just to see if I get the new player bonus, I am obviously a long time member so not sure if I qualify. didn't get any pop ups about any bonus. I wagered my deposit and took out a nice little profit.

tbh don't mind playtech but I am pleased the bonuses are now cashable, that's if you receive any :p
 
Not actually bothered to look at the new look ladbrokes garbage yet. Was always my number one site for more years than I can remember and only casino I ever had great wins at. But from what I've heard it's had a few problems since change over and I'm guessing they will lose a lot of customers. They had the advantage of being the only decent sports site with microgaming and now william hill will be a lot better of since they are adding microgaming all the time. Think ladbrokes will realise soon enough what a massive mistake they have made

I had this issue, had it last time they gave me 10 free spins, tonight the free spins wouldn't appear on Gladiator, so I just went on The Mummy, they appeared straight away, won £10 and ran for the hills.

Haven't played at Ladbrokes for ages, always have problems there, and the Playtech games are always laggy as hell - although they pretty much are anywhere I play, Paddypower included.

I have 10 freespins on Gladiator and 5 on another game I can't use. When I press on the freespin icon and then the 10 it says insufficient funds. Support are telling me it's a problem on my end but i've tried on different computers and clearing cookies and cache.

just tried it on the mummy, and free spins message not coming on at all now. not sure if its because I made a withdrawl. this should not have affected my free spins though because I didn't need to deposit to get them...

support are not good i had the same problem yesterday i chat 2 times, they say me make it later, how late i think till they expires.
and today 10 Free spins from email i download new casino, and cant play it with popup and so.

Very unlikely as they only removed the MG games 4 days ago!

However, I think 66% will seem like a very nice figure to Ladbrokes when they DO get their post-MG figures! :(

Last summer when they started doing the 'Reel em in' promo, I was hitting a 643x winner almost every Friday.
At the start of this year these dried up a bit but I got a lovely 'five scatters in free spins' 1929x just when i needed a new telly.

Comparing that to 32 Red where I haven't had a single win over 200x since 2012 (although I know that's just my Donald Duck)
it's hard not to shed a wistful tear at the closure of the only Microgaming casino i came to truly love.

Is it possible that different casinos have different RTP's (forgive me if its a dumb question), as I dont have much luck at 32red, compared to Ladbrokes

I dont know how these things work but I had the exact same thing happen at 32red. Hundreds of thousands of spins and never any type of win or close to cashout ever. I closed my account there years ago. And since I have had numerous wins on gaming club, jackpot city and a nice $960 win a few weeks ago on ladbrokes.

Bad luck on 32red? Probably. But it sure makes you think when you go an entire year and 200,000 spins with basically nothing to show for it :D

As for the RTP's, as regards Playtech and Microgaming, every RTP I have seen for each game, from different operators, has always been the same (except where there has been the odd publishing error) which ties in with what I have been told on several occasions by operators and even ex-employees that operators cannot change the RTP and that they are fixed by the developer. Leaked game documents I have seen also back this up.

Whether we ever get definitive proof I have no idea but all the signs are that that is how it works.
 
I don't believe the RTP's change at any Microgaming casino, so although we do tend to have our favourites (I prefer the cashier at 32Red for example rather than Ladbrokes) the notion that one pays out better than the other is only based on past wins and luck, not because of the brand.

Oh I am upset now, it said it was just for me LOL,.......so shocked at the route they have chosen, no VIP offers....nothing....they may lose many of their high rollers, which will be devastating for them

Ive had problems with Ladbrokes from day 1 and again the free spin will just not work for me either.

Very dissapointed they have jumped ship with MG but i am also sure punters will talk with their wallets and go elsewhere.
